Definition of road in NY is ANY PORTION OF MAINTAINED SURFACE, that includes seasonal highways.... firebrakes are common place where road hunters shoot figuring that no body will know
They don't have to believe everything that's told to them bring those that accused them. See what is going on
What a joke. Truly the western version of a CSI wannabe. How in the heck can the warden determine not only who's foot prints those were, let alone that the footprints were the one's when the shot was taken? And the Sargent saying its like a competition out there at that spot. That the guy wouldn't wait for legal time. All assumptions no facts. What an absolute joke that one hunters word carries more weight than another hunters word.
So someone can be upset you shot an elk they wanted and they can say they shot not during legal hours and that is all it takes for them to charge you? There is no proof and now you can lose your hunting rights for years? WOW
I thought the same thing would of took it to court with a good lawyer

I had a situation happen with a gerber folding knife found in an area a hunter said he had never been. I was interviewing him at hunt control where he brought his deer for the biologist to pull its jaw. Earlier that morning i answered a trespass call but could not make contact. I flagged the area at hunt control and had them call me when the registered hunters came in. Every time one did i walked behind them and bent down to feign picking up that knife. Only took a couple tries before the owner claimed it thinking he had just dropped it at the office instead of out in the field.
Sounds like you believe the complaints way more then the accused. Guilty until proven innocent.

A common theme in this show is to be certain a crime of some sort has been committed and then pin it on someone with enough money to pay the fine. These wardens in Montana are an absolute joke.
Should’ve fined those idiot bird hunters in the boat for not knowing what kind of duck that is. That is not a wigeon! It’s a hen gadwall.
But it appears the warden didn’t know what kind of bird it is either as he didn’t correct them. Sad.

You Got Any Proof In My Opinion The Perosn Filed The Complaint Should Had His Phone Out And Record In My Opinion Sounds Like The Guy Was Jealous And Pissed Off He Didn't Get An Opportunity To Shoot And Called The Game Wardens
