Watch 'Wardens - Season 3, Episode 13' here: • Wardens: Operation Rec...
    In this episode:
This week, wardens deal with conflicting hunting stories which leads one man into trouble. Meanwhile, other wardens deal with would-be trespassers as the hunting season comes to a close.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

If the person in the blue truck does indeed have a disability permit what he did is perfectly legal. Under state and federal law and vehicle that a person of disability uses becomes an OTHER POWERED MOBILITY DEVICE. The game officer should have known that. It is a federal felony to interfere wit a disabled persons hunting. I my state the hunting lisence for a diabled person says so right on it. I have such a pemit and I can run a vehicle right up to a wilderness boundary.

I wish we had something like this in Colorado. I can get the same disabled permit, but I don't know of anywhere that has an elk cull like this.
I'm 100% disabled and trying to take care of three small kids almost by myself. It would be a blessing to get all that fresh elk meat! It's frustrating to watch someone pop an elk and just leave it there.

It’s nothing like what they just made it look like it’s only after the general season is over and all the big guy landowners have made all the money they could off of guided hunts and then can’t deal with the consequences of the elk wanting to stay there and then they allow public to come in for cow only and get paid again. And these videos are years old the elk just leave and winter somewhere else from these ranches now. I wish states would just allow people to fill the tags of other people that are physically incapable of retaining their own meat source just like Alaska
