Ceiling fan making annoying noise

Try removing glass to see if it will quiet down. If it quiets down, put rubber around the glass where light kit screws screw to to isolate the noise.

The reason why the ceiling fan is making noise is because the globes are loose. Tighten the globes and that might fix the problem.
