I want Nintendo to put Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the switch.
I wish…
Probably next year for Mario's 40th
@@AidenHilton981 I don't see it considering we're probably getting a brand new 3D Mario next year.
@@mariobroultimate1808 why do you think a new 3D mario is likely for next year? And not on the next switch?
my lonely left hand would explode
I want Yoshi's Woolley World on Switch
Yessss me too!!
Me three, together with Kid Icarus Uprising

@@DonnyFinney Agree! :)
@@DonnyFinney Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Switch
I feel like Mario Party is possible. Ever since Mario Party 9 came out in 2012. A console Mario Party comes out every 3 years. Mario Party 10 came out in 2015. Super Mario Party came out in 2018. Mario Party Superstars came out in 2021.
Idk if that’s a good idea. Despite the fact a new Mario Party seem to release after every 3 years, it just feels like they are really milking the Mario party franchise, and it definitely shows with the last 2 Mario party’s. They should definitely take a break with the Mario party franchise like they did with the jump from 8 to 9. That way, the next Mario party can actually be great. Plus, the switch already has 2 Mario party’s. A console hasn’t had more than 2 Mario parties since the GameCube.
@@notinservice7112 Yeah, Mario Party needs to have its creativity back, and maybe new people should work on it too.
I want more Mario party please
@@duebfofnI think with how well superstars did and how it’s the best modern mostikk on party title, I think the devs behind it hopefully ate understanding what people want from Mario party and when the next one happens it will have its creativity back
@@notinservice7112actually we have gotten more than 2 Besides the Gamecube once. We had Mario Party 1, 2 and 3 on N64, and Mario Party Island Tour, Star Rush and Top 100 on 3ds
I would take note that whatever Mario Party or Mario Kart game comes next, they'll both be the first games for Mario, Luigi and Wario's new voice actor, Kevin Afghani. We might also hear Waluigi's new voice too.
Dude nobody wants Kevin Afghanistan in Nintendo
Sorry pal, but I'm afraid that this is how you'll hear Mario going forward. All new games will feature him and only remakes of Mario games will feature the classic voice of Charles Martinet.
@@mattzai19 maybe not. I mean martinet could come back for remakes and remasters.
@mattzai19
I thought Mario Wonder was Kevin Afghani?
@@jockson7574 He did a great job voicing Mario and Luigi in Wonder, but I will admit that his Wario voice does need some work.
Maybe it's because there hasn't been a Nintendo Direct this year outside of the Partner Showcase in February.
The fact that we still need to wait for a direct instead of any form of shadow drop is just further proof that the Switch has nothing
@@knuclear200x Hello, Mr. "The Switch has nothing"
my lonely left hand is happy no matter what
Nintendo still didn't use their trump card, that's are price cut & unlock their restriction of cpu, gpu, ram frequency
@@knuclear2O0xI honestly admire your dedication
Honestly the way it’s looking. They’re dropping a direct in April or may. Cause I doubt they can hold off till June with how little they’ve been releasing.
What do you mean
Knowing Nintendo they will
Well, technically Another Code, Mario Vs Donkey Kong, Princess Peach Showtime and Paper Mario are all important releases, althought excluding the latter they're small releases and all, but they're still releases.
Exactly.
I think they wait till June
They could honestly do like a revival of 3DS games and give them new life on switch like they did with Luigi's mansion 2, Kid Icarus Uprising comes to mind or legend of Zelda A Link between worlds and lastly Tomodachi life, with these games alone it can hold them off for one more year before finally giving us a new console for its 8 year lifecycle 😢
This is why the Switch has nothing, and just as much the reason the eshops closed
@@knuclear200x Quit saying "The Switch has nothing" because that's not how you get new games inmediatly
@@knuclear200x The eShops closed because no one was using them. Believe it or not, it actually takes money to keep those servers alive. The same thing is gonna happen with the Switch in a decade or two and you're gonna have the same reaction, I know it.
yall are still huffing copium on kid icarus??? lmao
Y’know, I haven’t seen anyone mention this, but there is actually one first party switch game coming out 2025, and that is Professor Layton: And The New World Of Steam.
i’m 99% sure that’s not first party, it’s a Level-5 game, so unless it’s published by Nintendo it’s not first party
The tag lines for Pokemon Legends: Z-A implied it could come out for multiple Switch consoles e.g. the sequel console as well as the current Switch. I'd imagine smaller games/ports/remakes will fill the Switch's life for a 2 or 3 more years. Makes sense from Nintendo.
In all fairness, people thought 2023 was going to be DRY because of nothing going on early on in the year. But then summer was INSANE for announcements coming in the end of the year and more for this year.
Yep, I think twitter drop is more appropriate for April than Direct since we have not seen general direct in irregular schedule after they doing mini and twitter drop in 2020.
Tbf at least 2023 had a decent sized direct in february and a lot of variety, rn we have... 3 games we know of...
Yeah, the later half of the year looks empty as heck there’s gotta be something behind the scenes because it’s weird to just have all of your big releases in the first half of the year and then nothing
Woah a persona 5 fan!
Not many NEW exclusives too this year.
Not many NEW exclusives too this year.
I want a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, a double pack of Triple Deluxe & Planet Robobot for Switch, Switch port of F-Zero GX, Super Mario 3D All Stars Plus for Switch which gives us; 64, Sunshine, 64 DS, Galaxy 1, Galaxy 2, & 3D Land. I also want a Switch port of Fire Emblem: Genealogy Of The Holy War, & a new Rhythm Heaven game for Switch!
Triple Pack of Sonic Games Like Adventure DX, Adventure 2: Battle & Unleashed
I mean i'd like Rhythm Heaven but jesus you want the kitchen sink too lol
I would enjoy a Tomodachi Life port to Switch, but I think it would suffer without the Streetpass functionality like Miitopia kind of did - I felt that game was less fun without it. I like the popular prediction of Wind Waker/Twilight Princess HD filling a gap.
But even with a bunch of remasters and ports, I think 2024 is going to be slim no matter what, unless they finally date Metroid Prime 4 - and even then, that's a niche-like game with a small (but loyal) fanbase.
This is THE YEAR to release Prime 4.
Not only will the relative software drought encourage a lot of people to pick it up when they wouldn't otherwise, it's also been confirmed that Sony and Microsoft will have very light release schedules in 2024. That means MP4 will face a lot less severe competition, specially when it comes down to GotY awards - and that, in turn, would probably mean a lot of free marketing and a well-deserved increase in sales for the series.
@KissMyFlapjack
Lol people have been “predicting” Wind Waker and Twilight Princess since like 2018
I also would enjoy a Tomodachi Life port to Switch too ,if they have a make-up thing from miitopia !
This feels like how the 3DS was being treated from 2017-2019. Infrequent, small releases primarily consisting of lower budget ports/remakes and spinoff titles. Stuff like Bowser's Inside Story remake, Extra Epic Yarn, Mario Party Top 100, Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, Captain Toad port, etc. Solid games and it's not like Nintendo can't afford the downtime, but a serious lack of must-plays.
It's just not a very exciting time to be a Nintendo fan if you've exhausted the existing first party lineup. It would be a lot easier to stomach if they would at least acknowledge that the next piece of hardware is coming within 12 months or so. It's been a phenomenal few months for my PS5 and backlog, if nothing else.
The art style of Kirby's Epic Yarn was held back due to the Wii only outputting 480p. It would look amazing in HD. Bundle it with Yoshi's Wooly World & you could name it the "Textile Collection" or something.
It was already remastered on the 3ds.
I think we could maybe see a new Mario Sports game, or a port/remake of an older one
I'd love a new 3D DK or Yoshi, Kirby Forgotten Land was such a fun shake-up of the typical 2D formula, and I'd love to see that given to the other 2D franchises.
My money is on a Zelda port before the end of the year.
Nintendo tries to have a Zelda release every year
BOTW in 2017
Hyrule Warriors DE in 2018
Link's Awakening in 2019
HW Age of Calamity in 2020
Skyward Sword HD in 2021
Majora's Mask (NSO) in 2022
TOTK in 2023
If I had to guess, it would be the Oracle games or Minish Cap
Both of those are already on Nintendo Switch Online, so it would make no sense to port or remake them.
@@SaltyToad00 tbf we got Link's Awakening on NSO after it got remade
Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD most likely.
Dude a minish cap remake would be beautiful
I have always been praying for a Four Swords/Tri-Force Heroes type game in the style of Link's Awakening, it'll be easy to re-use assets and the 3DS got one near the end of it's life
Expecting Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to come later this year, however the GAMECUBE versions will be ported instead of the Wii U version.
lol, that would be hilarious.
That would be truly a Nintendo thing to do lol
Sounds good to me. I've always preferred the original versions over the remakes anyway. As someone who likes collectathons more than any other gaming genre, I was really annoyed that they trimmed down the collectathon quests in the remakes. Plus the Tingle Tuner quests in Wind Waker were removed entirely in the remake. It would be a shame to lose the Swift Sail, the Cave of Shadows, and Link's faster climbing speed in Twilight Princess HD though. And I guess the better graphics too, not that I really care that much about that.
I’d rather them just full on Remake Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (y’know remake them like how they gave PMTTYD that treatment).
@@AquaNeptun3 They already did though for the Wii U. What would be the point in remaking them again?
This reminds me ofthe year before switch released where wii u had almost no major releases.
Endless Ocean is releasing on my Birthday. What a gift Nintendo. 😊
I really hope they port Luigi's Mansion 1 to the Switch(preferable an HD version of the 3DS remake).
Mario Party seems to be the most likely as its a pretty small title that sell really well. Though I do hope we get something Donkey Kong related in later half soon(Mario vs DK doesn't count).
We might get some random DLC’s to keep folks happy waiting for next year too
Maybe another Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope dlc?
Imagine they suddenly announcing the rest of the Mario Kart Tour characters (not skins) are coming to 8 Deluxe, that would be amazing
They could also do Super Luigi Odyssey where you play through Mario Odyssey as Luigi (simular to New Super Luigi U)
If they were to do dlc I would hope either for Mario wonder or Pikmin 4 dlc. Since they pretty much confirmed dlc for tears of the kingdom isn’t happening
What about a Mario and luigi on switch we got super Mario rpg and paper Mario so why not mario and Luigi that way we have all Mario rpgs on switch
We had Super Mario Rpg on NSO before, I remember playing the game on switch before pre-remake came.
@@AquaNeptun3 Mario rpg wasn't even announced for NSO
@@DonnyFinney nah nah nah, I remember playing that game on NSO (I swear I didn’t use an emulator, I swear).
I feel like there’s a good chance Grezzo are the ones behind the Luigi’s Mansion 2 port
They really should port what's left from the WiiU
Yeah... like **** the _Mario Party 10, Yoshi's Wooly World, Star Fox Zero, Nintendo Land, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD_ and _The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD_ video game titles **** (among others)!
Give me a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, & I'll be satisfied!
I know it's a touch screen game, but I want Kirby Rainbow Cruise
A few other items worth discussing:
-a hardware price drop and/or the Nintendo Selects line returns (especially hoping for this thanks to those physical games getting taken off shelves a few months ago).
-DLC for a few other recent games, like Pikmin 4 or Mario Wonder. The biggest thing holding me back from going all in on this option would be the potential for a “Deluxe” line on the Switch 2 that uses these games to bolster the early launch window.
I’d also toss one other smaller game that could show up: a new Ring Fit game. That game was a MASSIVE success on the Switch, and now almost 15 million rings are laying around growing dust. If the Switch 2 got delayed, maybe that frees up the studio to do a smaller side project. 🤷♂️
to be fair, we're still barely at the beginning of the new year, Nintendo has a tendency to wait till a game is near completion be announcing it, and things are finally going back to normal (for the most part) after the Covid stuff or something of that sort, so I would say wait till about halfway into the year before we jump to conclusions
If Nintendo does announce an unexpected game this year I'm hoping it's an HD port of Wario World or Wario Land Shake It Dimension
That would be a good decision considering how popular Pizza Tower is.
I really want to play both of those, so I’d be down for that.
@@dinar8749Pizza Tower is a pathetic attempt to uphold the legacy of a series whose reputation has been tarnished permanently by Nintendo.
@@AustinMSmall How is pizza tower "pathetic"? Genuinely curious what you think is bad about it.
Personally as someone who grew up with wario land 4, pizza tower nukes that game.
@@dinar8749 Pizza Tower misses the point of Wario Land.
Maybe there will be a direct in April where we will know what Nintendo will release this year.
I doubt Metroid Prime 4 will be a Switch title at this point.
That game is never coming out 💀
At this point I can see Nintendo using it to buff out the Switch 2 year 1 and 2 line-up. Learning form the WiiU disaster Nintendo will ensure plenty of big games are coming out to ensure the Switch 2 is a success.
I think it'll be cross gen like BotW.
@@robertkenny1201 How am I trolling?
@@dinar8749 Your claim Metroid Prime 4 doesn't exist without any concrete proof or evidence. Look how long it took the Resident Evil 2 Remake to finally get a release and actual gameplay trailer.
Everyone's 2024 is looking dire. Sony's just got Stellar Blade, Until Dawn, and Concord. Most third-party publishers have maybe one more thing set to release in 2024. Many don't even have that.
Gotta believe that games will get announced for the holiday season during Keighley's summer game thing.
At this time last year we didn't know about Mario Wonder, Super Mario RPG, or Wario so its not unheard of for them to release games shortly after the announcement. Still though, they don't even have a Pokemon game this year. Legends Z-A is 2025
I think we’ll get a direct in April and the following revealed:
One last Wii U port (WW/TP/Yoshi WW, any of those 3) for release in July
Ports of Prime 2/3 dropping after the presentation
Fire Emblem 4 remake for September
Big holiday game (maybe Prime 4?) for a November release
Give me a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, & I'll be satisfied!
@@isaiahdixon9224 Yessir that’s the only Wii U port I really want
I NEED METROID PRIME 4, NEW DONKEY KONG COUNTRY, LUIGI’S MANSION 4 to come out this year!!
I can see the possibility of some small experimental IP’s that if successful would be a feature title on switch 2
Why hasn't Kids Icarus Uprising been ported to Switch yet?! It looks really funny and I want to play aaaa
I gave up waiting and settled for the 3DS version a couple years back. Fantastic game, I think anyone still holding out hope should just give it a go if they've got a 3DS! (It's not very hard to download a copy after the shutdown...) It's a great showcase of the 3DS hardware, too.
@@Monafide3305 I never owned a DS/3DS game. I'd rather not emulate and get an actual 3DS someday, since it looks like it might not ever get ported aaa
Being a lefty I can't even properly play Uprising
Grezzo is likely developing Luigi's Manion 2 HD.
Really is 50/50 who is developing it, Next level games made the original and they started development on a game in June 2022, They didn't yet say which game that was but its likely that game is LM2
@@Verizonfan_Sure. We don't know yet. It's a tossup between Grezzo and Next Level. I hope Next Level is doing something original outside of the Mario universe though.
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD would be an easy port, it would give us the 3DS levels on console, and it would regenerate intrest in DK before the next big game.
I'd rather they remake the original trilogy.
Give me the ports we have been asking for (Kid Icarus, Cleaned up Star Fox, etc) and I am fine with 2024 being quiet
If they remaster Uprising, I'd forgive pretty much anything else that could happen this year. 🎉
It's far too late for an HD port for Star Fox Zero & Kid Icarus Uprising.
Why? Pit is already sorry to keep us waiting. 😆
@@ravenebony2267 It's been over ten years since Uprising. Aside from a brief mention by Sakurai about the hope of the game receiving a HD port, there is no mention of the series. Also, don't get your hopes up for Star Fox Zero as that game is the worst selling Star Fox game in Japan.
I admit i haven't played a star fox game after Adventures. But, something being unlikely doesn't keep me from wanting it.
We all thought that last year until the June direct happened and blessed us with 4 new Mario game announcements and a pikmin 1+2 shadow drop among other things, it’s hard to say 🤷🏻♂️
I remember seeing a post on Reddit about a week ago regarding a Nintendo Direct leak, but given that the date format was different and there were a lot of games on it, I and a lot of other people quickly believed it was fake.
I'm still wondering about the release date for the Uma Musume party game that was announced on the Japanese Nintendo Direct last year, a Global release was announced, so we'll be getting it in America as well, but when is it coming, I'm so excited for it.
I'm still clinging onto the hopes of getting Metroid Prime 4 releasing this year. It's just wishful thinking tho.
We’re so close to a direct, I can almost taste it
Tastes like... victory. 🎉
You forgot Super Monkey ball banana rumble, also a Switch exclusive game and Im looking forward to it.
Could have sworn this was uploaded a couple of days ago... hmm whats the reason for the rerelease?
You may have seen this when we released it a few days ago for our Early Access YT members!
I wonder if that April 18th 2024 date for a Nintendo direct will come true. The list of games would fill out the rest of the year.
There is always a drought before a new console isn't there, 2024 is the new 2016
Mario Party Superstars 2 makes a ton of sense this year. There's actually still a bunch of mini-games from The Top 100 that didn't make it into Superstars 1, most of which were from the GameCube era.
Just make DLC ffs
Hope Custom Robo can get something before the Switch is done. Also if Star Fox gets anything I hope that it is Star Fox Assault.
So many quiet months last year and this year yet no obligatory fair second chance for an arms sequel
They may not have much now but there is also 2 more directs to come out this year so maybe just wait for those.
A Nintendo direct is happening in Mid April
I think we should get ports for sonic rush and sonic rush adventure since those games were successful for Nintendo .
These are Sega games.
Relax on first half. Thousand Year Door is a culturally significant release that is like 60+ hrs of content if you want to 100%, maybe more.
Do not undersell Thousand Year Door!!
We'll see about second half.
If it's 30fps downgraded from the original, and no meaningful new content then that sucks.
It's looks 1000% better graphically speaking. Not sure about fps yet but like..... it's still culturally significant. This is your chance to push them to make real Paper Mario RPG sequels that'll be 60fps on Switch 2! ;)@@dinar8749
I want a new star fox game on switch😁
I know it's not a first party nintendo game, but another big release that will release later this year is Sonic Superstars x Shadow. And then also Pokémon Legends Z-A next year for the Switch - I don't see Pokémon releasing a brand new game on the Switch at the end of the Switch's life cycle, I still believe that it's still over 2 years before they would even consider releasing a new console.
I remember the original luigis mansion remake for 3ds was one of its last bigger titles. I think we are obviously at the same stage with the switch.
We are most likely going to see things like splatoon spring fest and final fest, and maybe a smash bros sprirt event
Smash just had its final spirits event with the Princess Peach Showtime spirits
@@Kanata_Satou whos stopping nintendo from making more? Final means almost nothing now, Smash and splatoon 2 both got new content after their "final updates" or events
In the game files of Splatoon 3, there's a new Splatana and a new Stringer, so I think it's safe to assume Splatoon 3 is getting more updates beyond 2024 since there are still dozens of weapons without a secondary kit.
Nintendo still didn't use their trump card, that's are price cut & unlock their restriction of cpu, gpu, ram frequency
Super mario bros wonder dlc ?
As much as I want to see Super Mario Galaxy 2 appear on the Switch. I do want to see Mario & Sonic at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games happen.
How do I put this delicately? I feel like every body gets their collective garments in a twists any time we go 2 seconds without a direct.
With all due respect, ITS MARCH, and the Peach game just came out. I’m sure Nintendo will have something by the time Luigi rolls around in June.
Also, there’s been this point that we like when developers are given enough time to actually FINISH a game, giving devs the time they need means more time between launches.
You’re bored? There’s nigh infinite indies on switch. Worried for Nintendo as a business? They’ve been doing this since before your grand and possibly great grandparents were even born.
My point is all the rabid “where’s my Direct?!” people need to calm down. Let’s be honest… most of that direct would be farming sims and rpgs that look too similar and you’d complain that there wasn’t Zelda Wild Kingdom 3.
Be patient
I agree since i believe we WILL get a GENERAL Direct on June than on April since Super Mario Bros Wonder was revealed last June, so i believe we WILL get a Nintendo developed title for this years Holiday title and NO i dont see it being a Sports title, because i think it should be either a Mario Kart or a Mario Party title this year.
I remember last year, much later in the year, people were saying something similar. It was June and the only Nintendo game we knew was still coming out was Pikmin 4. Everyone was panicking and doomsaying. "Nintendo has nothing!" "Nintendo is going to end the year with no new releases for literally the first time ever! It's never happened before, but I'm sure it's going to happen this time!" "Even if Nintendo does announce something, how good can it be?" Then the June Direct happened, and Nintendo announced Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and that got nominated for a Game Award.
Obviously Nintendo is going to announce something. It's not even the end of Q1 yet. Can you all PLEASE stop being annoying for just four more months?? Do you actually not have a better use of your time than repeating history?
EDIT: Corrected the date, thanks to people with good intentions but bad manners.
Super Mario Bros Wonder DIDNT get revealed in July, because it was revealed a month EARLIER.
8:07 “Don’t do that... Don’t give me hope…”
In the meantime, its the perfect opportunity to catch up on the backlog of games on the Switch. So, this winding down is a good one.
Also, I do feel that Nintendo would allow more shine-time for third party games to come to the Switch. DecaPolice, Professor Layton, SMT V: Vengeance, and a slew of others would help keep the flow of the Switch line-up going, so they can focus more on the reveal of the Switch successor. If anything, it is truly most worthy.
I’m kinda in the same boat. If WW and TP don’t get announced for a port then it won’t happen. If the rumor OOT remake is happening then we will eventually get remakes for those down the line. Plus GameCube for NSO
There's been lots of exciting stuff to look forward to being announced/released, but none of it is on Nintendo. We don't even have Switch Online games to look forward to since their releases are so sporadic now
Right now I would like some NSO+ new classic game next week would be perfect to announce F-Zero GBA and from April I hope some Rare jewels
in my opinion about a new console well around 2025 can work because we will have Pokemon Z-A and additionally Prof. Layton like a big 3rd party title so it's possible
There could be a chance that Mario will be revealed as a new giant character balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. If that is so, I'm certain that not only will he be the lead balloon in the lineup, but he will definitely be sponsored by Nintendo.
I wanna see a Mario Party with a Story mode like in Mario Party 9 & Mario Party DS,just like a Super Mario Galaxy 2 Port To Make up for its exclusion from the 3D All Stars back in 2020!!!
Well, if they don't announce something soon, it's going to be pretty bleak.
I don't really mind that there aren't too many Nintendo games releasing this year. Level-5 games are keeping me busy enough on the switch
I got the feeling after Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD there going to be Nintendo Direct for Summer or Fall releases but I know Metroid Prime 4 will comes out on this holiday season
don't forget that nintendo is likely to be focusing heavily on on the upcoming zelda movie and their theme parks.
Honestly with 2023 being Nintendos greatest year of gaming in years, I don’t mind a quiet year as long as we know that theres a new console coming
I forgot Kirby’s return to dreamland even released
I hope we get a new star fox game
Hopefully we get a Kirby spinoff this year
winding down. Wonder if we'll ever get StarTropics 2
Imagine if this is when we finally get Mother 3 since Japan got it last direct
I would love a remake of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons in the style of Link’s awakening.
There's also Luigi's Mansion 2 HD coming in June 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if Luigi's Mansion 1 HD gets made. I also wouldn't be surprised if we get more Zelda remasters/remakes on Switch.
Knowing Nintendo, they like to announced games months before release instead of other companies where they announce it years ago (MP4 don’t count 😜)
Hope they get rid of the mission based levels for Luigi’s Mansion 2 and that they make it open exploration like 1 and 3
An Ever Oasis remake/remaster would be cool to give that game a second chance.
If we want to be' honest, the other consoles aren't in that better position neither. All is left after May is Blackmyth Wukong and Metaphor Refantazio (and if you have Xbox or PC, Avowed and Indiana Jones). So it's not just Nintendo that is in a during position after May. Hopefully June fixes that for everything.
Dire? Nah. They need to relax. My backlog is heavy.
Considering most of the major release announced this year are remakes and/or remasters, it does look rather bleak atm.
I wouldn’t say that.
To be honest they have a couple games this year that's fine, there are plenty of games being released on switch this year.
In talking about Wii U titles, I hope they remaster Sonic's games for that console.
We really need Metroid Prime 4 soon....
Star fox and other ips: well well well see how the tables have turned
How early could we expect the Direct ?
Next week
I feel like even if it was a drought that is okay for me because there is a lot on my backlog and classics I never got a chance to play. So I can play catch up with everything I want to play.
I mean we’re pretty much on the twilight of the Nintendo Switch’s life so it makes sense why there is a lot of ports and remasters coming out and not really any original games announced, especially if the rumors about the Switch 2 originally being planned to release this year are true, they most likely have their entire focus on making games for that system.
Honestly if by the end of the year I have an HD port of the 3DS version of Donkey Kong Country Returns I’d be more than satisfied.
I love DKCR!!! I would buy it and 100% it again. Unpopular Opinion: DKCR is the best in the series. I’ve played the SNES games all the way to Tropical Freeze and Returns stands out as the best imo.
We NEED DLC for Mario Party Superstars. Please Nintendo 🙏
Nintendo, I hope you will come up with more ideas for this year.
Out of what was mentioned in this video, Tomodachi Life is at the top of my list. I’ve been replaying it for about a month and I would like a version for the Switch. The version I have in mind is not a simple port of he 3DS version
First, I want a Tomodachi Life Deluxe which combines all the clothing and interiors and foods of all versions of TL for 3DS and adds the Enka song style from the Japanese version. Then add the interiors from the first Tomodachi game for DS that did not return for the 3DS version. Also the Roof for certain situations so that both the Roof and the Observation Tower are used. Like the European version, have both the word play and the rap battle.
Second, add to that the clothing that was in Miitomo that are not already in TL.
Third, add NSO functionality so that we can port our residents through QR code into the Switch version.
Fourth, please give us the ability to buy back unwanted interiors and clothing from residents or unwanted gifts like the fan. Also, provide more Level Up Gifts.
Fifth, it’d be nice to have more control over relationships rather than just the travel ticket. How about using the treasures and that some residents like one certain treasure more than another.
As a side comment, regarding travelers, just have a setting where the player can choose the coming and goings of travelers. If set to allow, the player gets one traveler a day.
Slow day in the news room eh? Time to cut! Who wants to go home early?! 😅
