George Janko has officially left the Impaulsive podcast. After a rocky end to last year where George walked off the Bobby Lee podcast and Logan attacked his religion, things were never quite the same. In this video I talk about everything we know so far about the situation, and why the third host of Impaulsive never survives.

Something tells me that whole situation has more to do with George leaving than we think, he was really riding for him on that podcast that he basically backed down from where he tried to defend himself, I wonder if George finally saw his true colors
Honestly, I blame it on the seating arrangement. May sound dumb, but seating two people together (Logan and mike), and then separating a 3rd person (George) and making them sit by themselves can have some primordial negative side affects.

this is exactly right this was discussed on another video as well and made comparisons to other podcast setups. they really had it setup to where the 3rd person is not engaged with the guest and therefore will always be isolated

Georges "unfit" takes in the impaulsive podcast was the perfect balance. It brought out sides of celebrities/guests that was so authentic and refreshing. You got to see them as human with ego removed. I miss him

I think George was a great addition for comic relief and added a nice touch, often giving the other side of an opinion (for example when they talked about gun violence in the US). I think George would fit in more whenever Mike/Logan isn't there because most podcasts work better as a duo anyway. For example the KSI interview where Mike was absent was great (no shade towards Mike) . George was so funny there.

Him literally being in between them was perfect. Genuinely one of, if not, the best podcast I've ever listened to. He was so good in that podcast, filling in break between conversations, keeping the flow of the podcast going regardless if they were talking about serious subject matter or not.

Ok no. George was not funny. He actively ruined the mood of the podcast e.g. when they were having a fun time joking around with Bobby Lee and George randomly goes into this depressive rant about how no one cares about him and then genuinely gets mad when Bobby Lee a professional comedian makes a joke about him. George wasnt funny he was just a normal guy with normal guy problems who thought he was a lot funnier an emotionally mature than he actually was.
He's a nice guy but he didn't provide much of a "comedic relife"

Nobody thinks the podcast setting is so Narcissistically Toxic that anybody who shows even a sliver of outshining them, they attack to break the 3rd host’s ego??
I don't think it's even that, more so Logan wanting so badly to be mainstream with all demographics that it's very easy to "make a mistake". If podcast is about just talking.. and you talk about painting and that's too niche and doesn't resonate then it's just bs business gig. You are there to talk about new trends basically.
It would be Good for them that the third chair would break that mold as the minority once in a while. It brings other aspects to it and say if Mike and Logan doesn't know about the subject (aka if it's not cars, girls and mainstream pop-culture) they could be good hosts by asking an interesting question about it.
So basically they are way too rigit to stay in this mold.
I was asked to come on a local radio show that was broadcasted for free to Louisiana every Monday at noon. In the short two months, I had grown pretty good and making a whole room laugh is an amazing warm feeling. Soon however, the feelings faded. They started bringing on people with no talent just loud voices, with even louder opinions, leading every conversation into a “trump bad” or a “republicans are SATAN” speech. -Podcasting is harder than it looks
-Being the odd one out only makes you a target.
-Having your friends constantly oppose you isn’t fun in the slightest.

I always had the feeling that Logan's downfall would start when he took Mike in his life. He was okay when he was with Evan, George, Mark and Yohannes. When Maverick and Kong died, Mike was joking around trying to downplay it unlike Evan, he knew how Logan was shattered losing his two beloved pets. When his true friends distanced themselves from him, his look and vibe changed like his soul is dead now. He was so bubbly when he was with George, Evan, Mark and Yohannes. It really does change you when you stay with someone who is just toxic. Glad George left. He deserves better.

I’m sorry but the vlogsquad did NOT make Jeff famous, he never clickbaited them or copied there style of videos, he always stuck to jeffs barbershop, he also didn’t leave them because he wanted independence and because he thought he was famous enough, he was pushed out because David almost fucking killed him, didn’t pay hospital bills, blamed him for the accident in front of millions of people and abandoned him. George leaving impaulsive is ALOT different to Jeff leaving the vlogsquad

I agree, I thought the comparisons to Jeff were a little weird in this video. I get Jeff is coming on more episodes but he’s had pretty much the opposite of George’s online history. Like you explained his leaving was completely different and his dynamic on the show is different as well. George was very eager to get on the show and wanted a recurring spot whereas Jeff was invited and yet he told them he would prefer to only come on boys episodes and not be a third cohost with guests because he didn’t think it would work for their show even if it meant he got less screen time/viewership. If anything I think George and Jeff are pretty much the opposite in most senses other than the fact that they have mutual friends/coworkers.

Yeah I agree that having 3 hosts is just too much, especially when they want to focus on the guest as much as possible, it felt like you could go through an entire episode without George saying a single word
Hopefully they can sort it out and George can return as a guest for some boys only episodes, like how Jeff did, but as far as permanent hosts I definitely think that they should stick to just Logan and Mike
George seemed to have slown down in the last few pods anyway, so maybe he wasn't enjoying the impaulsive life anymore.

Podcast aside, it maybe be good that George split and is doing his own thing. But Its Always a sad thing when you witness friends that were meant to be there for each other for life split and end in this way. It didn’t have to end like that. Such a shame.
George seems like a great dude, but he didn’t contribute at all to Impaulsive. Asked 2-3 questions per episode, mistimed jokes, and even where he sat was strange and out of sight of the guest. The podcast is meant to be just Logan and Mike, and I personally enjoy it much more that way, but that’s just me. I’ve also watched since episode 1 of the podcast.

Well to be fair to George he literally gets cut off or undermined with most of the questions he asks because Logan is running the show and dictates what he wants and doesn't want. It was never a show with 3 co hosts. It's meant to be Logan the one who's in charge and brash, Mike being there to make sure Logan doesn't step out of line (which he has failed in doing when it comes to disrespecting every co host) and the third who's whole role is just nothingness as they are always out of the way of guest and always fairly unknown in comparison to Mike or Logan in the space

George is a real friend and better for him to get out of that toxic friendship with an energy that's bound to humble those addicted to it. Logan to the public eye has gone through great efforts to get to where he is at, but interior wise nothing has changed. It's the same Logan from the last time he hit rock bottom and it'll continue to be that way because of those he surrounds himself with. Believe it or not, but evil exists and a lot of these high profile celebs/influencers are messing with shit they just don't understand all they see is the money and power that comes with it, but sooner or later reality will set in and no one will be around to help.
They honestly don't need George at all. He either provided comic relief every 5-10 minutes, or just talked about religion and spirituality. That's fine and it's good to listen to every once in a while, but not every single episode. Audiences tune in to watch for the guests or for new, interesting conversations, and George mainly flops with the guests, as he's usually just ignored for most of the podcast.
George is for people who like to, and know how to, think critically and independently. Mike and logan are for the brain dead sheep.
Ignored because he was purposefully positioned on the other side of a guest. They do need George, since he was the only one who brought out the interesting and authentic parts of a celeb. Now it’s just an echo chamber.

Honestly, I never really thought George fit in the imPaulsive podcast. I think the first time I got that idea was during the Arnold Schwarzenegger interview where he was apologizing for being high…
Then I started noticing how every other video would mention George because of some incident involving him, or the fans just berating him for trying too hard to get a laugh out of people. Then the infamous Bobby Lee episode hit and I knew he wasn’t right for the podcast.
3 hosts was always a stretch to make work and I hope they keep it at just Mike and Logan.

The way I see it, especially because the way George is positioned in the podcast set. He’s always behind the guest, rather than in front like Logan and Mike, so this almost forces George to work harder to grab the guests attention since he isn’t as visible to the guest. So I don’t think George was trying to be obnoxious, he just had to stand out more to be present on the podcast

I watched the inpaulsive podcasts for George, he just lightens the mood and adds a comedic side to the podcast now each episode isnt going to be as exciting but that’s just me
George was absolutely the best person on impaulsive. He asks real questions and gets real. That’s what podcasts are about. Not just talkin about dumb shit nonstop

I might be wrong, but from the clips I have seen, I always get the impression that if anything Mike would always be "safe" because he's really one of Logan Paul's yes man.
He was too good for them. I stopped watching Impaulsive after Logan got exposed (again). I'm glad George left, I hope he can build his own platform, authentic as he is.

I knew the cracks where beginning to show when after Logan attacked his beliefs all the people "rallying" behind George were doing it more out of pity rather than actually caring about him

Although I admire George, his persona on Impaulsive often came across as somewhat artificial. I am unsure whether he willingly adopted the role of the "funny guy" or if it was assigned to him, but it rarely felt genuine. Impaulsive has a specific target audience that likely prefers to hear from a porn star rather than someone preaching about Jesus. It was evident that Logan's comments deeply affected George, but that doesn't excuse resorting to clickbait tactics and making false statements to create his own podcast. George likely signed a non-compete clause and, by becoming a direct competitor to Impaulsive, he probably violated that agreement. This situation is akin to starting a business with your friends, leaving to establish your own venture, and poaching a portion of your former partners' clientele. It's a shady move that could potentially result in legal consequences.

Totally agree, 3 hosts is simply too much. It's just a matter of time until one becomes the third wheel. Logan and Mike plus guest is more than enough. I kinda saw this coming, the vibe was really off the last few months.

I swear there was a point in impulsive where it felt like mike was the 3rd wheel in The podcast, and george was the funny charismatic one, but then it shifted and george just seemed out of place in impuslive either because of his own actions or the other hosts/guest just not being interested in what he said.
Im relieved that I can now just listen to George tbh. The only reason i started watching was after the KSI interview and George carried that. Very happy for him. I hope he lives out his worth and doesnt seek validation from people who dont respect him for who he is.
