That 2 finger tap to open a link in a new tab is amazing! Thanks!

Maaaan, that time tip for the calendar is a GAME CHANGER!!! I hate those wheels SO MUCH :D You're the best!!
Your latest newsletter is spot-on! My husband and I agree with you wholeheartedly about devices becoming obsolete and unusable. Your videos are always a wealth of information although we are seasoned MAC and IOS users! This video like others is outstanding! We support your channel and are glad we do so, as we could not easily gather all the information you provide. Thank you so much!
If only I could remember HALF the tips you provide regularly. THANK YOU!
Well you got me again. I was sure Iâd know all of the tips you were going to go over in this vid but nopeâŠ.there were two I was unaware of despite being an iPhone user for 14 years. Nice job as always. I learn something every time I watch one of your videos. You truly make it so easy. Thanks !
exactly.. I've always started his videos with the same idea in my mind and he's always showing something interesting.. This video has brought a lot of features I was unaware of
Aaah finally that rating pop up going away.
Apps donât respect that setting. Have had it off but I still get pop ups
@@kunalnanavati ah. Iâll have to wait for it to happen then. In which case, I wonder what other settings donât really apply when tickedâŠ
I'm glad you're including tips that everybody has known about for a long time because i've never heard of them!
Tip 1 solution: You can say âadd this to my VIDEO listâ instead of âremind me about thisâ and it will be added to the correct reminders list.
I was thinking the same thing.
I do this one for my Grocery List. Tip- donât have âlistâ in the list title. Otherwise Siri asks which list.
This is one of the most helpful videos Iâve seen so far this year. That photo to email drag feature a is top tier gem
Amazing and informative video. Having used iPhones for the last 10 years, I learned a couple of new things.
Please do a post on the apps you use on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
I love when you do these videos, most of the time I dontâ get thru all of them but started to email them to my inbox and i watch them when I am at my desk at home
Iâm beginning to love reminders, timers and lists since I finally caved and bought an apple watch. I always learn useful information from your videos and look forward to the newsletters you produce. Thank you!
Love your videos. Always so informative and helpful. Thereâs always at least one new tip. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks for sharing this incredibly helpful information! Even the promotional section was useful and very well done. I'm going to check out Magical AI now.
Your videos are consistently useful and well paced. Thanks đ
Drag and drop! đ€Żđ€Żđ€Ż
Ooh! Templates on reminder could be a game changer for me! Thanks!
It is long overdue for the âdelayed sendâ feature to be added to the messages app.
As always, very informative. Thanks for the new tips.
Cheers!! Always find these videos useful!
Iâve used an iPhone since the second generation and definitely learnt a few useful things - thank you so much. Your videos are always informative.
Wow. Got several good tips from this one. Thank you! I find your videos to always be the most informative.

Great video. Hope for more of such to come. Thank you!
So informative! A big thank you!
Once again ! Great video !!! Love it man !
The Drag and Drop tip was amazing! Thanks â€
I always enjoy your videos.
Excellente video !! â€
Some excellent content here. Thank you!
Great tips thanks. I use the I-calendar as a database for all repeated events such as entering specific information in the note box, such as costs, vehicle maintenance/servicing, medical information, links, etc. Information can be accessed by key words entered in the cal search bar. When any event is due again all the previous year/s history or information is there too đ
Very useful tips thank you
Great tips. Some I knew but forgot or never made use of, but most were new to me. Thanks.
Thank you - such a helpful video!
So useful. Thank you
Always learn something I can actually use!
Always learn something new from these videos. Cheers
Love seeing Craft notes on your phone! Been a Craft user for a few years and love it but am always trying to decide if it would be better to use Notes and be fully in the Apple ecosystem. Maybe a video on Craft vs Notes app? Thanks!
Simply brilliant
I love this video, thanks Tom! I appreciate that your video format is set in such a way that it doesn't into the dynamic island on my 14 Pro. :)
Thanks! Decent advice!
Always the most helpful videos! đ Thanks for sharing :)
Regarding "remind me of this": You can say "remind me of this on my such-and-such list" and the reminder will be added to a specific list. I use it regularly, but it doesn't work flawlessly. For example, Siri can't seem to add things to my "calls" list. It thinks I'm asking to put it on my Kohl's list. I've practiced saying it a dozen different ways, but to no avail.
Great tip regarding setting the time with the number pad in the Calendar App.
Great tip about using two fingers to open a webpage in the background.
Love this! đ
Great video
Instead of âremind me about thisâ canât you say âadd this to my videos listâ? I do that all the time and itâll put it in whatever list I say
Now this was a helpful video.
Ah, great stuff!
Didnât know the calendar time thing, thatâs great, thanks!
Awesome!
Drag & Drop Bonanza, thanks!
You can create a shortcut, create reminder from url clipboard - then add tags - then add the shortcut to the share sheet. Then next time you want to save the website to your reminders app, just click the share icon, it will add the tags, and then filter to your Smart Folder as mentioned in the video.
You donât actually need the tags. You can just say to Siri, âRemind me about this inâŠ.â And then say the name of the reminders list. Itâll put it straight in there.
thank you my friend. I definitely learned something new here.
most of us have overpowered devices but a selection of us tend to only utilise less than 50% of its capabilities
Nice job! đđđ€Ł
It's been a while since last office/desktop walk-through and your setup has changed a bit in last couple of years . I was intrigued by the audio device you have just in front if keyboard and can't work out what device it is.
Schedule send- my coworker calls this a âninja sendâ!
2 tap on link, and the calendar time entry was new to me!
How interesting
How to sync the REMINDERS and NOTES across all devices so that I can be more productive? Thank you for this useful video.
Lip Sync at 14:19 is why I love this channel!
what do you mean? to me it looks like he is talking normally
Can you give us a tutorual on shortcuts that allows us to immediately access our iclouds private emails. It's so annoying having to go to settings > icloud account > icloud > private emails > finding the email. Can we get something that goes straight to it. Especially for the desktop version!
I may have a tricky question for you regarding productivity đ, I use Apple notes on my iPhone , on my iPad , on my MacBook quite often , most of the time itâs for shopping lists , occasionally other stuff .
One thing we people can do with just a sheet of paper or writing pad , is when we are writing a shopping list is we can pull out a bunch of our highlighting textaâs and Color a word , or a sentence or even a whole paragraph for reference later just to simply remind us of the importance of what we have made a different Color .
I have tried many times to find a way to do this in apple notes , with no success.
To me it seems like a basic function a notes app should have .
Iâd love to know your thoughts on this .
Cheers .
OK so for some me start by saying I absolutely love your videos and I look for every single one when it comes out and spend some time absorbing. But I do have a question.
I am trying to use templates Apple notes but the strange thing is Iâm not finding anything about templates anywhere on there. Not when I created a new list not when Iâve already created the list. Nowhere. I googled it and it said I had to create a shortcut first. Help!
Iâve started using the Reminders app more after your videos on using the app. However, one thing really frustrates me - I cannot get the custom location feature to work. The button appears to be greyed out yet pressing on it gives you a dialogue box with a list of locations had a search box with a map dialogue underneath. However, there is no way to drag the pin to a custom location and choosing a pin location from the list doesnât change anything when you go back to the reminder. It remains on any previously selected non-pin location.
Is this a bug or is it me? :-)
How I would like it to work is to be able to choose one of the locations from the list or drag the pin somewhere on the map and use that location for when I arrive or leave it,
Thoughts?
How do I make a grocery list my default list when I click on reminders on my watch. Every time it goes default today's reminders rather than the grocery list I want to access?
Hello,
I admire you and Iâm following you since a long time on my other account and I currently have a dilemma :
I bought the iPhone 15 Pro changed it for the same one as the battery couldnât even last a day ( for only Instagram and WhatsApp stuff ) at the end Iâve decided to give it back to Apple so I have a gift card with a value that can offer me a new IPhone.
I currently have an iPhone 13 Pro Max but the battery canât last so long, what would you do, invest on a new battery and case for around 150$ and wait for the 17 pro or even 18 pro.
Or wait for the 16 pro ?
Thanks
I don't see the drop down or the option for 'List type.' Is there a setting I need to enable to see it?
One thing I *wish* we could do is automatically run an automation when we change focus state. For example I have a "night time" automation that turns all the lights, etc off. and I wish I could have it automatically run when I change to the "sleep" focus mode rather than do both tasks separately. Super annoying. Or the other way round would be fine i.e. when I run the "night time" automation it sets my focus mode to "sleep". Never found a way to make it work though. Seems so obvious but seemingly not possible. Weird.
I thought it was already available- Iâll have to check mine to see how itâs set up.
@@leiterservices if it is possible I would love to know your solution. Iâm sure there has to be a way to do it but the shortcuts app just shows me a blank page when I select what scene to set and I canât figure out how to resolve that.
@@satysin630 I'm on ios 17, when in the shortcuts app > automation > "+" (new automation) scroll almost to the bottom of the list and you should see your focus modes as options for the trigger. Select one, tap ""next", you can then choose "when turning on" or "when turning off" and whether or not to require confirmation. For your situation, I would make a "regular" shortcut to turn off the lights, then have the automation run that shortcut. Sorry I can't help with the "scenes" part of the setup- I haven't figured that part out yet either! Hope this helps you get started!
I wish they would add contacts app to the messages menu. Not sure why it's not there.
I had the App Store setting off for ratings and reviews but still get those popups đą
Actually, for tip # 1, here is the phrasing I suggest that adds it to a specific list:
"Add this to my Content Creation List". Note that I was unable to make this work with phrases like "Add this to my Video Ideas list" or "Videos list"-I suspect Siri is less certain about how to process words like "video" which might suggest another action is more appropriate... At any rate, my recommended phrasing also works to add things to whatever list you want, e.g. "Add apple juice to my grocery list".
Apple mail remind me feature fails when you have too many reminders added. Mail app even hangs when you have too many reminders added. Have you noticed this?
who here doesnt own an iphone but still watched the whole thing
6:16 how are your dates round?
My dates are round but it's the round circle highlighting today's date or the date I've selected. Today's date is highlighted in red. A selected date is highlighted in black.
first one not working for some reason. :(
But simple things like, âSiri, tell me when my phone battery is fully chargedâ Siri cannot do it. Useless!
The iPhone productivity tips were truly awesome! Although, I'm a bit puzzled. I vaguely recall the specific video but you showed how Siri can identify songs playing on third-party apps, but when I tried it, it didn't quite work out. Could you kindly walk me through the process? That would be fantastic! đ±đ¶
Great video. About #1 about adding a Safari page to Reminders, you can just say âAdd this to my Video Ideas list. Thanks for all the great content!
