One of the best live bands you will ever see with lyrics that always seem to be relatable. Guy Garvey is a brilliant front man and has an amazing voice. Just saw them again in Birmingham, UK.
This song is an original from Elbow. Indeed quite a classic song in festivals all over Europe.
This is my all time favourite band, and One day like this is my favourite song by them, closely followed by Mirrorball, Station Approach and Kindling. It’s such a wonderful anthem! They just performed it live for the Queen’s Jubilee!

This has always been my go to song, both for good and bad days. There's another video from British Summer Time festival 2017 where in the end the audience stays in tune + beautiful harmonies. And finally get to see him in amsterdam this june after 2,5 years

This is what we played at our wedding after the service. My husband is Northern British and only romantic songs acceptable are couched in reality. So any song with the phrase.....throw those curtains wide 🏆 wins for him!

This is a great festival song. Got to say may favorites though are lippy kids, great expectations and loneliness of a tower crane driver. The lyrics in the first two ate just beautiful and relatable, and I love the swell of sound in the mid section of tower crane driver.
Quite sad this was a festival that most people didn’t know this song, when in UK this is crazy with the audience
