Ilol😂 you say you don't want to bash Kimber. You don't have to my friend. I'll do it for you. Kimber Sucks. I had 2 of them and they spent more time going back and forth for repairs than any other weapon I ever had in my 40yrs of handling pistols since I was 16. You are much better off with the Springfield. I have a 2cd Gen MC Operator that I bought new in 2011. It's among my favorite 1911 I've ever owned. I have seven 1911 pistols and the MC is among the favorite of anyone I allow to shoot it. I try my best to talk anyone I can out of getting a Kimber. I've had Springfield guns for many years and anyone who decides to get the MC, you won't be disappointed

A fantastic gun. I have worked on many of them, so I've had a detailed look under the skirt.

MGS4 Operator. The main reason why i've always wanted one.

Welcome back! Nice looking 1911. I have a Garrison and love shooting that 1911. Springfield in my opinion, does a really nice job for the money. And F Beretta boys.

The big reason the MC Operator is a big hit is because it's still on the California roster. So you can sell it to someone in California for a premium but elsewhere it's just a typical Operator that's not really a premium item unless someone is interested in the whole "Marine" aspect of it.

I had a Gen 3. Really liked it but it got sacrificed as I climbed the ladder into more expensive guns. I like the brown grips on it. Gives it a different look. I feel like these are every bit as nice as the TRP.

They went with Colt because their new ceo was a retired marine.

Great review and that helps me understand more about the 1911. I bought a Springfield Garrison 1911 9mm and fell in love with the way it shoots and than I purchased the same in the 45ACP and they are both fantastic handguns. Than I ordered me a Springfield Operator 45ACP and I can't wait to get it in and shoot it, three more days.

    Love the video

I Didnt Know They Had 3 Gens. I Just Purchased What Deacribed As The Gen 2. Can't Wait To Take It To The Range. Thanks For The Informative Video. Learned Something New Today

Your presentation/delivery gets better with every video. You have a well-deserved audience and I’ll be happy to see it grow.

My MC Operator is a 2nd gen. No checkering on the front strap, and does have a Butler cut. I added a TRP magwell to mine. I also put VZ grips on mine to replace the rubber grips.

Awesome I've been trying to find pictures of one with wood grips, been debating between between getting the MC Operator or the Operator models, great video.

It's good to have you back!

Nice piece. Ever since I got the 4.25 prodigy I've been looking at all of the 1911 models Springfield makes now. They seem to make decent 1911 models. In my opinion for the price. Great video.

  • @aarondesch

Had Jarvis install a threaded barrel on my MC Full Operator, now a TiRant45m lives on it.

    Great video!

    Those grips are beautiful
