That’s a great looking 1911. I tried out a TRP years ago before I bought my Kimber Custom TLE II. I really liked it and it was a close call between the two. I didn’t get the one with the light rail but I’m thinking of getting a new 1911 with one . I really like my Kimber and it’s been a great accurate and reliable pistol. I wouldn’t mind adding one like yours to my collection though.
I just acquired a used full rail TRP. I like it a bit more than this one. I’ll have to do a video on it as well
I first saw the full rail version in the late 90’s and was obsessed. Springfield dropped another batch 3-4 years ago and I finally grabbed one. It was worth the wait.
Lol I love the intro. I fast forward those guys tactical ninja Tom foolery. Great video. I carry the TRP for duty. I shoot it well. Everyone freaks out about round capacity. I changed to a ISMI 18lb spring, tooless guide rod and a Aftac extractor. Haven’t had a problem in 5 years.
Fun fact: that Bomar cut being slightly forward started with Delta's 1911s. The idea was to protect the adjustable sights just a bit.

I’ve had an older model professional and I just got a new 10mm TRP that I absolutely love.
One of the best 1911 makers in the GAME and gives u a Lifetime warranty long as you don't do any crazy stuff to it. I have a champion LOADED stainless steel I bought back in 1999 that still runs flawless to this day. I just recently sent it back to SA for better sight Magwell and Front checkering just so I can keep that life time warranty

I think if you collect guns in America everyone should have a 1911. I own this one and love it!! It’s one smooth shooting beast

I have a TRP and it’s an outstanding 1911. I’ll go out on a limb and say it’s the best 1911 under $2k. As I’ve put on my fireproof undies let the flames begin😂😂

I think the dan wesson specialist is the king for under 2k. Just because the tool steel internals and hand fitting the dan wesson have. The trp are very cool though . The 10.8 performance trp were awesome.

I have a full rail, a stainless, 10mm and half rail TRPs.
My 10mm is fit like a basic production pistol. I was mildly miffed about it.
My half rail locks up so tight I thought it was messed up when I received it.
The full rail and stainless are fit at their price point.
The 45s all shoot amazing. The 10mm, is, acceptable. For a Ronin, Loaded, or other production pistol from SA.
Certainly not at the TRP price point.

I get wanting the MC Operator.... but I certainly wouldn't part with a gray frame half rail TRP. That's one you never see in CA. My LGS has 2 MC Operators in stock TODAY. For me it's a Dan Wesson PM7-45 next. Made the mistake of holding one. Absolutely a notch above the TPR.
They are somewhat easy to find outside of CA. Good thing I don’t live there 😂Just saw 3 recently online for sale.

Awesome. I like the 9mm version cause of the bull barrel. And 10 round mags do t stick out. I guess it’s not as bad ass as the 45

When did my phone go off? I must have missed that during editing. If you’re referring to the music, that was intentionally implemented in there by me during editing. It’s just background light music.

I used to have the full rail. Very accurate and reliable gun. Don't have it anymore (🤬) but I do have a Professional.
The professional is next level awesome. Had one too but sold it to fund another project haha. Such is life

I actually got rid of this one for a TRP Operator Full rail. Between the MC and the full rail TRP….I prefer the TRP

I like them both! But if I had to choose one, it would be the MC Operator. Same performance at a cheaper price.
