I just did a Windows 10 reset and got to the point where it was setting up Windows and drivers. I looked away for about 10 minutes and when I returned, it looked like I was stuck in a black-screen. After about 30 minutes of research, I figured out because I had my TV plugged in as a 2nd monitor, my primary monitor was black-screen. I simply unplugged the HDMI cable going to my TV and I was back in business.

Another way to fix the problem is to shutdown the pc remove the battery press power button for 5 seconds put back on the battery then press the power button, when the pc is about to start up and the windows logo displayed, long press the power button to shutdown the pc, then power back on,that will fix the problem, it works for me.😎

Sometimes it will connect to my TV, then after restart I have to remove HDMI cabke and insert at a specific time for it to come back on the TV. You can also reset ir using startup repair > troubleshooting> reset instead of doing it from the Control panel, worked for me
