    Guys who had getting this problem just do the following step
    1). Press ctrl alt del at the same time.
    2).at the right bottom there is power option while pressing or holding shift key then restart.
    3). Then advanced repair tool will open.
    4). Go to troubleshoot; advanced; startup; and then boot from safe mode
    5). After it will start your computer on safe mode and then you can just restart your pc.
    This one's work for me but i dunno if will work good all users or not i had tested this on Windows 10

    In reference to your comment about hard drive errors found by chkdsk:
    The chkdsk without options finds file system errors but does not fix anything.
    The chkdsk /f /r is redundant. The /r implies (includes) the /f.
    The /f option checks the file system and runs more quickly.
    The /r option checks the whole drive and looks for file system problems and physical disk errors (or what appear to be physical disk errors).
    As a point of experience (45 years), i have seen many drives report 'bad sectors' in chkdsk that were fixable.
    90% of ALL problems are soft!
    This is based on Dell Tech reports on service calls. Only 10% of problems require a part. The rest are fixed by rebooting, reformatting, or re-installing. (of course if you reformat you will need to re-install but Windows also has a repair re-install option that fixes many problems). Of the 10% parts replaced 50% which are received at the warehouse are GOOD! Typically these are drives that have already FAILED some form of diagnostic tests.
    I personally have had drives that reported bad sectors which were fixable and used without incident for years.
    I would recommend the next drive you have bad sectors on which you are going to throw away (you send to me -- thanks) recover any data you need to then simply re-format the drive. Don't even bother using any programs like Spinrite to recover it --- you were going to throw it away anyway. Just reformat it and re-run chkdsk /r. See if it gives you any bad sectors. Even if it does give you bad sectors it will probably give you fewer. In my experience the majority of the time that alone will fix the drive without any bad sectors.. Bad sectors CAN be caused by physical defects in the drive in which case the drive may indeed deteriorate. 90%+ however are caused by soft problems such as mis-writes which are easily correctable.
    If a drive spins it is almost always recoverable (and there are a lot of CZcamss that solve non-spinners).

  • @Edumuitoloco
    @Edumuitoloco Před 6 lety +2

    This happens because there is an "bug flag" on the system making the whole drive inacessible (read/write off). What you have to do to make it boot again is follow the steps in this video until the system recovery step (restore a previous recovery point can solve the problem). If the steps can`t solve it, install Windows on a new hard drive and boot the new one. Make sure the old one is connected as disk number 2 (slave). When the new system boots up, try to double click on the old disk... the system will return "Access deny". So you right click on the old disk, select properties option, go to "security" tab and adds full control permission to all (or everyone). It will take few or several minutes, depending on how much files is in there.
    It`s not an ideal sollution but it works (and it`s the only one I discovered). After doing that, back up all your files, export all important software preferences and format the whole disk with a fresh Windows install. Using Windows with everyone having full control is not safe AT ALL... Do this only to recover your files.
    You can connect your HD on another computer (if you have another one) and do the same without having to install a new windows on a new hd.
    Hope it helps someone! I had to figure it ou by myself on an client server (all system ERP and production down). I had to do this to the ERP of the company comes back as fast as possible and format a new HD on an holiday without people working.

    Just a small tip that made me feel like an idiot after I found out. If you have 2 monitors plugged in (I had my monitor and my TV, which was off) check to make sure that the one that is off isn't set as the primary monitor. I was fiddling around for hours trying to figure out what the problem was until I started pulling cables out of my vid card and remembered that I had 2 monitors plugged in.. And then I figured that my tv was set as the primary monitor... And I was having the black screen with the mouse problem.. Lol. Derp. Hope this helps someone :D

    Solution:
    In my case it was a black screen with cursor before login.Noting was working before not a single method even i was not getting safe/recovery mode.But i troubleshoot this simple way:
    (1) If safe mode is also not coming then try to boot to recovery mode by powering on ur laptop once booting starts and u get the first logo image of manufacture press & hold power off button till 12-15 secs.Repeat the steps atleast two or 3 times max and u will get to recovery.
    Next if ur system can boot to safe mode or restore previous mode in advance section under recovert then it will be easy to get this issue fixed.In my case my system got failed to boot in to safe mode/restoring to previous windows version i somehow found a way by going to troubleshoot option under recovery advance oprion and clicked uninstall recent updates if u upgrade the os or upgraded to Windows10 from windows 8/8.1 this issue happens.Then after i uninstall recent updates i turn off device and restart,my system automatically restore to my previous version which is windows 8.1.Thats it issue fixed.

Maybe check it externally. It should help and of course if it has problems You should transfer all your data to a new disk. Thx.

    • @fancii
      @fancii Před 5 lety

      My F8 didn't work at first either- try restarting it back to back about 4 times- it'll get sick o'the bullshit and give you the "Start Windows Normally/Start Windows in Safe Mode" boot screen. Once you're in, open a command window by typing 'cmd.exe' into the File>New Task (Run) Dialog box. When it opens type "bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal" [Press Enter] to keep it opening in Safemode until you can fix your problem. To revert back to normal boot- do everything the same but replace '/set' with '/deletevalue' [Press Enter]

      @ticktockbam Před 4 lety +4

      I know I'm late, but for anyone who looks up this in the future:
      Basically what he said in the last part was that the hard drive he had on his hand was the one that he was trying to fix throughout the video, the one he was showing us which wasn't working. So, he got a new hard drive which he bought and copied everything into the new one by imaging it after pressing F8 at startup and choosing the Repair option and the the Image Recory option after that (all of this in the new hard drive, not the broken one), but since the hard drive was corrupted he might have lost some of his files.
      TL;DR: if everything else failed, you either want to reinstall Windows or get a new hard drive and do an Image Recory there from your old hard drive.

    I have a Windows 11 install on my 11 year old laptop that's running in legacy mode. It's not designed to do that, but I used a workaround to install on unsupported hardware.
    Anyway, I get a mouse cursor and a black screen before the login eventually appears after maybe 25 seconds. I disabled my startup programs and ran chkdsk, sfc. Same thing happens. I'm guessing it's "normal" ? I don't remember it doing this on the 10 install. Could just be a more RAM intensive OS and needs more tome to load up. I have 8gb of ram though and a ssd.
