Regarding Bran... think of what makes you, 'you'. All of your experiences and memories. You can remember things and recall the feelings and emotions that helped shape you into the person you currently are.
But.... if you have the collected knowledge and memories of the Three-Eyed Raven, who is privy to all events, current and past, then the person you were would probably get lost in amongst the 'sea' of other memories in your head. I might think it's like mixing 16 million colors together... you would just end up with a shade of grey at the end. That's what Bran is inside now, I believe. Grey.

In the last episode when Jaime was talking to Olena she asked "Did we put up a good fight? It was never our strong suit." Highgarden was the richest of the seven kingdoms but the Lannister army was much better trained and battle hardened from all the recent wars. Even when Kat went to talk with Renly in season 2 she called the Tyrell army "Knights of summer" because they had never seen real battle before, they just played around at tournaments etc. War is a very different thing

That is still not a plausible explanation on its own. House Tyrell had the biggest army and a big castle with enough food. Their forces had not been reduced by combat either. We also did not see the Lannisters having any siege weapons. They would have needed to build them. They would have just needed to defend until Dany arrived for help.
Somehow the whole Lannister army reached Highgarden without being seen.
The only explanation is that somehow Tarly convinced most of Tyrell's allies to turn on them (which really isn't that likely). The show should have really given us some scene to show that if that was the case.

    • @cassandramcbride7007
      @cassandramcbride7007 Pƙed 2 lety

-Sure, but at this type the Lannister army was at least reduce to half. Lannisters did had severe loses against Robb (thats one of the reasons Tywin made an alliance with Frey. He knew that his numbers were low and another battle against the starks and the north, could be his downfall)
-The tyrell army lead by RandlyTarly had the only victory against Robert Baratheon Rebellion and forced Robert Baratheon to retreat. This show that at least Tyrell army was decent enough by itself (Not good, juts fairly decent. Because Tarly was also leading other houses armies of the reach) This means that Tyrells could hold the siege for sometime. House Tyrell have all the food resources that Lannister/Tarly army doesnt have.
-Highgarden is showed to us to be a top of a hill surrounded by trees. How did the lannister army enter in reach, follow to Highgarden, without even been notice? How did they clim the hill, without any efford and surprised Tyrell army? How did Lannister Army enter in Highgarden so easily? Specially when all the Tyrell army had to do, was Hold them. TyrellÂŽs warn Daenerys or at least they were waiting for her... Its not like Daenerys could bring easily Dothraki army from Dragon Stone just for a wild guess!
We know that Tarly was going to talk with lords of the reach, but we never saw that. We do not know what he did talk or how he did convince them to not take part of this war.
-This raise another question. Olenna belong to a big noble house (Luther was going to marry her sister. this means that OlennaÂŽs house was very important. Otherwise a tyrell wouldnt marry a small house.) so where are they? After Tyrell army holding the siege made by Lannisters, Olenna would asked help to her house! Since theres no information, her original house maybe be alive and with more power (since olenna would probaly make sure her original house would have).
-Reach was in war against Cersei/Lannisters. So this means that Olenna did had council meeting with all her bannermens. So they knew about Daenerys and Dothraki. So if Tyrell army was so bad, why would Olenna only use them? Obvious she would reunited every other houses and would offer the reach army to Daenerys. Once the houses were against Olenna decision (Tarly wouldnt be surprise, when Jaime mention dothraki to him) She knew you would turn against her. Since she would still have a few allies... they would talk to her, soon the Lannister army was the reach... Someone would be tracking Tarly/or any other houses movements, that turn against Olenna. Lets not forget that Tyrells were love among the common people in the reach. The Lannister army can’t teleport. They still needed to take days, likely weeks, to march the hundreds of miles to Highgarden, and a mobile army of thousands of men is easy to spot if they are taking the main roads (which they had to since their supply wagons march with the army). So even if all the lords had turn against Olenna. someone in the common people would talk to Tyrells soldiers about Lannisters enter in reach. This would buy time for Olenna to prepare.
      - By the way, around this time, who was protecting Cersei? She barelly had any army in Kingslanding. So the common people in Kingslanding would riot. They hated her since season one. Margaery was more than loved by the common people, yet they all root for Cersei now? They certainly had families they lost in the destruction of the Sept. But no protests or anything? Sure!

-How do you know lannister Army hasn’t increased in size ? It’s been years since Tywin’s death
      - have the common people of KL ever been known to riot enough to overthrow someone in power? Or do they just care about food? In our own world tyrants are rarely overthrown by their own people due to fear , propaganda and lack of organization. It usually takes an intervention from the outside to oust a tyrant
-Also with Cersei blowing up the Sept wouldn’t that make them more afraid of her? By the way didn’t Cersei have the Mountain walking around the streets to find and kill anyone who might start an uprising or even something as small as a joke against the crown?

Near Highgarden is also where the "Iron Fist" army of House Lannister and House Gardener (who ruled The Reach before the Tyrells) fought Aegon Targaryen's invasion of Westeros. It's called the Field of Fire as the entire army of the two Houses was burned down by Aegon's dragons. After the battle it is in these fields Lorren Lannister bent his knee to Aegon the Conqueror. So this battle, the sides and the outcome mirror those events. But Jon should now that after subduing the south Aegon turned his eye northwards...maybe the new Conqueror will do the same.

Highgarden was more reputation than reality when it came to military force, remember the Old Lady mocked her son and his choices. Also, HighGarden’s best commander and largest bannerman is Tarley who was talked into changing sides along with other bannerman. So HighGarden’s army was divided and perhaps even betrayed from within the walls by their own Bannermen.
The dagger was supposedly lost by Littlefinger to Tyrion in a bet over a joust. Lady Stark assumed that Tyrion was behind the assassin because of Littlefinger’s story. We next saw the dagger in an ancient book Sam was reading at Old Town, a page away from the map of Dragonstone showing the dragon glass mine. So it is an ancient Valaryian steel dagger of legend long forgot. Brand might be the only one to know what the dagger is.

Btw, in the books, it is explained that it's Joffrey who gave the dagger to the cutthroat. Robert said ( while he was drunk ), that a brave man should put Bran out of his misery. How grand was the shot of Dothrakis breaking through the Lannister lines while Drogon flies over the skies menacingly as the inferno raged underneath. The Dothrakis all jumping on their horses at the same time with the war music playing that gets you all fired up? That shot was insane too. The choreography of that fight is off the chain! Some award winning shit right there. Like King Robert said so long ago, "only a fool would meet the Dothraki in an open field". Who would've thought then that it will be Jaime who ends up drawing the short end of the straw? Poor Jaime gets completely rolled over by the horselord hordes smh. Hard for me to watch.😔

The gold that the Lannisters got from Highgarden already made it through to King's Landing. It wasn't all that apparent but that was like their priority to get the train of spoils through. Whats almost never apparent in pretty much any movie or TV show portraying these types of things is just how much time and effort it takes to not only move an army, but to move their supplies and food and horses and just about anything to do with the logistics of war.

It was never Jaimes dagger, it was actually the dagger the assassin used to try and kill bran in season 1 after his fall. After that Lady Cat took it to kings landing, Tyrion was accused of owning the dagger by Cat but Bronn won the trial by combat to clear his name and I don’t think we have seen it since then.

It was Little Finger's dagger initially, remember he told Cat that it was his dagger, but he lied and said he lost it to Tyrion in a bet for Jaime in a tournament, when he actually lost it to Robert Baratheon, not Tyrion. Jaime even said that his brother would never bet against him in a tournament. While he was helping Tyrion escape from the city, they speculated that Joffrey was the one who sent the assassins and gave them the dagger to use. But I'm 95% sure Little Finger is the one behind that attempt on Bran's life, he has been trying to fuel a war between the Lannisters and Starks since before the beginning and he lied about who he lost the dagger to.

Like that person really didn't survive but you don't realize it until they become better and they're not the same person you used to love and laugh with. It's really quite heartbreaking because it's not until awhile afterwards that you realize that you did lose that person and you now have to mourn the one you lost and learn to love the person that they become.

I don't think anyone ever said that Highgarden had the biggest army, and they were rich because they grew most of the food. @missmayamin Pƙed 2 lety

@@vincegalila7211 That doesn't mean they had the biggest army per se, especially Highgarden individually. Also in terms of S7, The Tyrells don't necessarily have access to the entire military power of the Reach the same way they did in S2. In S2 people like Randyll Tarly, who are also rich and have many troops, are the Tyrell's banners. It's similar with every great house, if they don't have the firm support of the 2nd level Lords under them, they aren't super secure or very imposing on their own. So by the time of S7 the Tyrells in that scenario could very well only have the troops their house directly controls in Highgarden, which is a much smaller force than what they could theoretically muster if they called all their bannermen up, if they would be willing to help in the first place.

. The reach was the wealthiest kingdom. Not because they had good army or fighters, but because they had the farmland. They were very wealthy. But they couldn’t fight as well as the Lannisters. Which is why it was east to beat them.
Littlefinger fit the dagger back when Caitlin took it to Kings Landing to find out who it belonged to. It was Littlefinger ‘s dagger and he told Caitlin that he lost it in a bet with Tyrion.
Dany had her army, the reach, the iron islands, and Dorne. Now she has lost them all. Tyrion screwed her. Dany should just attack. But, seems like when it comes down to it fans really don’t want to get to, a d Tyrion just wants to ask them nicely to lay down their swords.
