Peter Baelish was being sent home from Riverrun to his dad after his duel with Brandon Stark and it’s totally within the timeline he was at the Inn at the Crossroads when Lyanna and Rheager met and ran off together at the same spot. Knowing Brandon Stark’s temper and how it might be used against him, Peter is the one who sent the Starks the word of Lyanna’s kidnapping.

I'm just really curious as to what Tyrion expected conquering westeros to be like? Conquering means to take by force. It means bending people to your will. That is what he chose and yet he wants to act brand new. Sending people to the wall means allowing them to reject the legitimacy of your rule. That's a dangerous precedent to set.

Jorah's looks at Jon like that because Ned was the warden of the north when Jorah was exiled for selling men into slavery. Ned probably would've executed Jorah if he was caught which is why Jorah originally fled to Essos, where he was later recruited by King Robert and Varys to spy on Dany. So it's understandable that Jorah would be a little nervous around the son of Ned Stark. At least that's what I got from it, although it could be a little jealousy coming out too.

One thing I always noticed but never heard anyone mention; when Daenerys birthed her dragons into existence she ushered in a powerful presence of magic into the world of GOT. If you notice the Night King began his quest to conquer Westeros, the Lord of Light became more powerful and prevalent, the visions from the 3 eyed raven to Bran became more vivid, and even the many face god! I remember watching episode 10 of season 2 when the sorcerer said something to Daeny to the effect of by her dragons being born it made him more powerful! Idk just a thought lol. Ned did his job well and didn't let the secret go, but little finger was too smart. A few other characters (likely Selmy for example) might have also know because they are smart and there clues (like how Raghear crowned Lyanna his princess of love, and also Raghear was know to be a honorable man, so some people just figured out it is out of character from him to do that)

I like to point out how Jon said the punishment for treason is death & the traitorous northmen umber & katastark died in battle & if their kids didn’t bend to house stark they also would’ve been killed. Randyll Tarly betrayed the reach & his liege lord Mace Tyrell & joined with his murderer Cersei to March on Highgarden to kill lady Olenna his liege lord’s mother. Yet Daenerys still gave them a choice & they made it đŸ€·đŸŸâ€â™€ïžđŸ€Ł In the north they wouldn’t have even gotten a choice. Death by dragon fire is quicker than hanging & that’s how Jon killed Olly & the rest. Episode one showed Ned beheaded a NE deserter. It’s funny how method of death is judged beheading & hanging & cutting your kids up, baking them in a pie & feeding them to you before slitting your throat & poisoning your whole family is cool but use your dragons to burn them to death & you’re a monster đŸ€ŠđŸŸâ€â™€ïžđŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł ridiculous

I'm not sure Varys knew about Rhaegar and Lyanna's marriage. But someone definitely had to spread the lie about the kidnapping. Robert was arrogant enough to jump to that conclusion. I mean, the man really convinced himself that he and Lyanna were some epic lovers. (Though she saw him like once and did not even like him.) But I believe Robert was told about that by others. So then my money would be on Baelish. Hands down. Chaos is a ladder? He was located at sort of the right places at the time, he could have possibly seen them together. The lie created a civil war and he rose through this chaos quite gloriously.

Herein, with the burning of the Tarly’s, is an example of the primary reason I truly dislike Daenerys...and why I began to early on. (Now I’ll point out that Randal Tarly was a terrible man, and I have little sympathy for his character. But this isn’t why.) Dany is indeed, a foreign invader in Westeros, with no ties other than a birthright that she believes to have. Despite the fact her father may as well have forfeited any birthright for his children to claim, when he went mad and began slaughtering everyone en masse. The people of Westeros are wary of the Targaryens for good reason, and even more wary of those they don’t know especially. For me, the trouble with Dany began from the moment in season one, when she burned Mirri Mas Duur alive. Mirri was raped, multiple times by the Khalasar. She saw her people slaughtered-including the children-and her village burned. So she was correct in her assessment of Drogo and the Dothraki as a whole. Drogo’s son would’ve been “The Stallion Who Mounts The World.” (The word “mount” meaning “rape” in this case.) And as she said, “Now he will burn no cities. Now his Khalasar will trample no nations into dust.” That was true. It was the savage way of the Dothraki. Dany may have been able to relate to Mirri’s suffering, given that she had experienced such brutalities of her own when she was forced to marry Drogo, and rise above her own selfish, vengeful impulses. But instead, she responded in one of the most horrific and ruthless ways imaginable by burning Mirri alive. Even though she loved Drogo, her wrath against Mirri was not justified.
I know I’ve pointed this out before, but from that point on, Dany only becomes more arrogant, impulsive, ruthless, and hell-bent on winning the Iron Throne at all costs. She states multiple times in previous seasons, “I will take what is MINE with fire and blood! I will lay waste to my enemies. I will burn cities to the ground!” And with that, anyone who won’t take the knee, she burns, while using her dragons to intimidate others.
One thing we learn, both in the books and in the series, is that no one who lusts for the Iron Throne, (for power and gain) is worthy of it.

And as I posted above, those who lust for power and gain are the least worthy of it.

Her warning to Dany and the tribe was not to enter the tent while the spell was cast, and clearly stated that “only death could pay for life.” Yet they didn’t heed this warning; interrupting the spell when they brought Dany back in, causing her child to die, and Drogo to enter a catatonic state.
There were consequences to this ritual that Mirri would’ve likely explained, but again; Daenerys impulsively commanded her to save Drogo’s life without regard to them.
