I really just did this video cause I solved a problem with this method by accident.
I'm not an expert, but if this doesn't work I recommend you to reinstall Windows.
If that doesn't fix the error either, it's most likely not a software issue.
So check your graphicscard. Is it connected properly? Does it look and smell fine? (no joke).
You got the newest drivers for your graphicscard?
Is the game you wanna play old? If thats the case, and you use a newer gen graphicscard, that could be the reason for the error.
In general: Try a different graphicscard if the Windows reinstall didn't work.

My fix only requires 1 file. It's an xinput1_3.dll file and all anyone has to do is drag and drop the file into the main game directory folder where the game launcher is located. On very, very rare occasions, you may have to place the file into the "bin" folder where the game launcher is not located. I have not been able to get any game made with unreal to open on windows 11. I have literally spend days ... replaced C++ so many times, direct, framework, updated everything, drivers, nothing worked. So I gave up, came back to it months later still no luck. Zero luck with the asshats at Microsoft.

This didn't work for me. What fixed it was just installing Visual C++ 2013. I had a newer version installed. I guess some games don't work with the latest version.
