You should not turn the maximum limit of the ram because once you change it then your operating system won't get Minimum ram requirement and it will stop booting
Would have been nice to tell people to proceed at their own caution when messing with msconfig. I had to reinstall win10 all over again including every programm. Besides the problem still exists and i am tired of messing around with my pc.

I don't know how or why this worked but it did. I followed your instructions and installed Fitgirls Assassins Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition. I have a ryzen 5900x, Tomahawk x570s, rx 6600xt, 4x16gb ram and a 2tb gen 4 nvme m.2 and it was a slow process that took 3hrs to install but hell at least it worked. I unchecked and put everything back to it's original state after the game installed and restarted my pc. Then I did a "sfc /scannow" and a "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" in cmd and restarted my pc again. My game and pc are running smoothly. This was the only one that worked for me. Adding and registering DLL files and everything else just didn't work. Thank you 😊😁👍👍

Well nothing solved my problem.
I literally had no ISdone.dll in my system32 folder. I tried registering DLL files but didn't work.
Last thing I did was force rechecking my Games Step files and that worked!
First bin file of setup was not correct or a small part of it.
Maybe When we stop downloading setup in middle cause this problem.
so what did you do when you found out that the first bin file was not correct. actually ive had the same problem, I changed the vram in advanced settings, did everything thats been required to run the game and yet the problem remained, but one thing got to me and that was when I clicked on the file 'verify bin before installation' , most of the bin files failed. so I think thats the only reason why I cant still install the game. it'll be really helpful if you'll tell me as to what you did to correct those bin files
And afteeeeer all of steps above you will face laggy pc and not enough memory error

Maybe the ram's unable to handle that much of compressed file at once.
Lowering the ram size force the processor to use a particular piece of compressed data to be loaded at a time. Maybe thats whay 😶😶🙄🙄

Fit girl stuff always comes with an installer option to limit ram during install, pretty much what he is showing here and I never found that made any differance.

The installation files are corrupted, re download them or do a force recheck if downloaded from torrent.
I have 32gig of ram and 800gb+ of hdd space I did your method and still didn't work. Please help am trying to install nba 2k19
32 gig of ram is enough for any game, please verify the installation files once.
