I have not ever tasted " Fig Bread "! I know that it tastes so good!!! I don't like Bananas, so I don't eat ' Banana Bread '. That looks good. Oh, I have eaten Figs off the tree though, when I was a little girl. We had all kinds of Trees in our backyard. We had " mus-da-dimes and suff-na-dimes, well so much for my spelling!!! Anyway, we had a ' Chinaberry Tree, we had all kinds of different vegetables, fruits and vines.
The fig bread looks good, but I don't have any figs. But if some time I get some, I'll make sure to make some. And your lesson on the fig in the Bible was really interesting. Love you!

I grew up in Charleston S.C. and my friend who lived with her grandmother had fig trees and I remember eating figs directly from the tree. She let is pick berries and grapes and then she let us watch her make jams and jellies and I thought that I was in heaven. I hid under her bed one time because I didn't want to go home because my mom was mean and she would beat me. I think I was 5 or 6 years old 😢

Brenda I bought 2 non stick pans years ago from king Arthur about 30 years ago and they still work great. Worth every penny.
