- I've always loved fried Chicken Livers. Sometimes I dip them in ketchup as a sauce. They are cheap to buy so that will help on your grocery bill.

Livers onetime I ordered at Grandy's. Was looking add the menu at Livers and Gizzards.. I ask for a dozen Lizards. I got tickled and the lady on the speaker laughed and said," Do you want the tails clipped." We both had a Good laugh.

This was such a sweet video & bought back memories of my mama who loved both! I only liked the gizzards, as the were chewy & rubbery & i like its texture😋 Cow liver & inions were my mom & mid sister's favorite & had it often as it was so inexpensive! I was firced to eat livers when a young child as I was anemic for awhile😢 You are a great cook! You have a beautiful porch (thats what we call them) God Bless you❤

I love the chicken Livers the best. I love the gizzards also. My mother always cooked the gizzards in a pressure cooker and then she made gravy and poured it over the gizzards. A boy that I dated his mother, would make a gravy after frying the livers then she made a gravy and added apple cider vinegar. It was so good!

Love chicken livers! My market used to sell them and I asked the butcher a couple weeks ago. He said they weren't selling enough of them. I have to find them in another grocery store or go straight to a local butcher because NOW I'm really dying for them!

I think if I had to choose between chicken liver or chicken gizzards. I would choose the chicken gizzards. My mother used to make chicken gizzards all the time when I was younger, but I thought they were so yucky. I never tried them. Now that I’m older, I still have never tried them, but if I had to pick one to try, I think I’d rather try the gizzards over the liver. Loved watching you fry up your chicken liver and enjoying eating. It goodness sakes you ate them all Miss Brenda Ha Ha!!! Good girl you cleaned your plate up!! Yes, I love chicken livers. Haven’t made them in a while. Next time I go to the store gonna pick me up a tub. I usually eat half before the other half get done.
Miss Brenda it’s hard to choose liver or the gizzards, it just depends on my mood. I love them both equally my mother used to boil the gizzards until they were fork tender may need to add a bit more water or some chicken broth with some onions and salt & pepper. She would add some rinsed white rice in there after they got completely done and tender she add the rice and the seasoning to taste.I believe that’s how she did it. I haven’t cooked it in so long . Remember don’t cook the rice so dry you want some of the broth and they’re just enough to make it nice and moist and bit loose she make whole cake bread or skillet cornbread.She always has some sliced onions and tomatoes on the side and ice tea. The veggies depending on what we wanted or nothing at all.❤❤❤

We were a family of nine, including my Grandmother and Grandfather!!!! BTW: Momma would prepare them just the way you did you did. Inexpensive meal to feed a family, but soooo DELISH.
