[about me]
Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything)
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

So true. When I was young I compared myself to the most popular girls in school and the girls in all of the magazines & movies, but then as an adult I realized that the pretty, popular girls represent such a small fraction of our world & the one's on T.V & magazines, social media today, don't actually look like they appear, it's all filters & makeup, and that's even after a lot of money spent on surgeries, hair & clothes, etc. Any of us could look like them, so we need to focus on what really matters to others, and that's what's on the inside. Inner beauty always shines brightest.

Rosie, we don't need fancy travel or tourist guide stuff. If you want to do it and develop your cinematic craft, go for it. But I think my favourite will always be you showing us your family and your community. You have a gift for making a place come to life, bunnies and horses and armpit washing and leg hair waxing and 4am dancing and all... for making us feel like we've forged a deep bond with people we've never met. That's your talent and what keeps us coming back for more. Please remember this and stay true to it even as you work on other technical skills!

Rosie. I suspect that one of the reasons people love to watch you and listen to your little chats is because You come across as really genuine and true. No doubt the cinematic videos will be beautifulf, but they won't be the same if you're not true to yourself and just be you. BTW. I was really excited to see that you're moving back to Italy because you truly blossom whn you are with your family.

As a person who spends a lot of time wandering CZcams, I can say your videos have something that just makes them stand out. I accidentally came up on one of your "what I eat in a day" and being from a small town from India with a completely opposite culture, I just fell in love with it. The true simple yet stunning Italian countryside, the grand parents, the love and ofcourse the real food everything is just on point, it's not like other content creators who are just making everything a bit too much.
It's a tough decision but the one that will make you happy. All the best, waiting for some amazing videos ahead :)

It made me so happy to learn that your boyfriend would be spending a year with you in Italy! And congratulations on pursuing your dreams of filming; you need a good amount courage to do that! Looking forward to your future videos. - By the way, don't underestimate the understated power of your current work, there is lots of charm and simplicity in your videos that I think a lot of people relate to, we all seem to have a deep need for peace and tranquility, to be taken back to the basic joys of life, and you bring that every time. I think it is harder to deliver that with fancy equipment. Just saying ;)

Hi Rosie, let me give you a little friendly advice. I am 63 years old but am very young at heart (I feel about 25 yrs old.). If you have to send your boyfriend gifts occasionally to keep him cheered up, I think it’s time to move on and find another boyfriend. He should be sending you gifts. If he really loves you and is seriously interested in you, he should be happy with weekly phone or FaceTime calls with you. NEVER bribe him. If he was truly interested in you, he should be able to wait a long time to see or talk to you. What if you were in the service and couldn’t contact him for 6 months, what would he do then, leave you? When I first met my wife, I lived 250 miles away from her and I always had to work overtime on weekends so I rarely saw her. Not a week went by where I didn’t send her flowers or some type of gift. A woman should be treated like a queen, never let a man have you do all of the reaching out. As I mentioned earlier, I may be older but I love your channel. I have a CZcams channel where I mainly cure sausages and Coppa plus Italian foods but my channel isn’t very good. I’m not good at editing and I just don’t set up videos to run smoothly like you younger kids. Salute da Napoli, Florida. ❤️❤️

If he doesn't love her naturally (without money) then when he is in Italy with her, he is likely to find someone else. And she will be then paying for 2 other ppl in the relationship.

@@gigitijarain I hate all intros. Just start walking, talking...whatever. Straight to what it's all about. A 10 seconds intro...many viewers are gone...Saves a lot of editing too. I hate well produced videos with 3s clips...CONTENT AND PERSONALITY...that's it.
Your video style as it has been is unique, it has a warm, cozy, authentic feel about it. The wish to professionalize your content is understandable, but it may remove the key selling point of your videos. There is tons of documentary style content on YT from travel influencers. Your videos are special because they show your unique, personal point of view. Your vacation videos are a great example for that. What I am saying is that improving things, uploading more rugularly is great, but you don't have to overcomplicate things for us. We love your content! :)
that's exactly what could be the problem with cinematic stuff. Sure, they look nice and have their viewers, but that's not what made Rosie popular and doesn't have to be. There is a reason why many prefer these sort of rough videos which seem very uncurated, like anyone could make with a phone. I liked so many influencers because they were relatable: dressing from Zara and Asos, using drugstore cosmetics, living in normal apartaments , etc. yet when they started making money, all the content changed: expensive designer clothes, huge ass home, very fancy food ...and it wouldn't even be a problem if they didn't edit and curate their videos so much (like Catben, i used to love her tiktoks, it just seemed like you usual housewive, taking care of her family. Now however, every tiktok is like a commercial. I just cannot relate to her.)

You seem more sure of yourself, and I hope you and your special friend can do things differently this time (couples therapy is a mature thing to do) and I can tell you both really want a future together. Also, I genuinely love seeing you thriving and facing your fears and anxiety everyday with little things like just filming in public. I suffer from anxiety and constantly worry about everything so when I see your videos, I literally go about my days a little braver, a little less insecure and I feel like I can be myself so your videos are a remedy for anxious girlies like me btw. YAY Rosie! Congrats on the PO Box! I had a pen pal from Italy for years when I was in school (like over 20 years ago) and we are Facebook friends today! Her name is Annalisa from San Severino Marche. Looking back on her letters all these years later is really sweet...she wanted to be an actress or model when she grew up; now she is a dental hygienist and has a baby! So cool🥰
