You can adjust picture settings once you actually watch content. Hook up media players, different inputs, instead of using the built in apps. This is definitely home theater worthy, and should be hooked up to external sound systems and graded/judged properly IMO, with genuine 4K content.
How do you adjust the picture settings?
@@vimalgeorge3571 Its ok for $500 bucks. It doesnt really compete with expensive projectors though.
@@JilesMcCoy picture settings are adjusted only when using an hdmi input. Switch over to hdmi, change the picture settings, then switch back to android
I keep seeing new reviews of this projector pop up but no is actually talking about the projector. Just long videos about the apps and that it runs android and just going through the settings. Not very helpful to see if this is worth it. No talks of refresh rates, pixel shifting, gaming performance, nothing.
This is really a lifestyle product. Performance is fine, but it’s not a hardcore performer.
Check out The Hookup's latest video comparison with this in it, it performs really well, and he actually reviews the projection and picture with granularity.

I bought a new old stock JVC DLA-RS2 around 2011 for a fraction of its original 8,995 dollar price. I thought it was a good projector. Have projects really advanced that much since the 2010s? I know about the 4K and all, but my RS2 did a job and they’re selling used on eBay for 300 dollars. I assume that the newest JVC protectors are still up above 5,000 dollars. I’m wondering if there’s really that much difference now to justify spending the big money to buy a JVC projector, which I assume is still the gold standard , over something else in the maybe 1000 to 1500 range either new or used.
It just depends on what you want. Go to a shop and check one out. Thats the way to know. Personally I think that at the high end projectors are on the way out. Tile direct view will consume most of that market over the next 20 years.

No clue. Probably some IP lawyers around somewhere. My guess is that if there was an issue it would have been surfaced by now though. The company has been around since 1915.
Paris Rhone is a French company and a popular one in Europe. They make all sorts of appliances and electronics.
