Why shouldn't you sleep with traction? You never mentioned that.

Traction versus support at night is the main concern. With Traction the intention is to cause plastic deformation which changes the spine position long term. Towel Support doesn’t necessarily change the position of the spine permanently.
Sleeping with support (comfortable towel height) is indicated.
Sleeping with passive traction (productive stretch without pain) is not indicated during sleep. (Reason: passive traction is only for 15-20 minutes.)
      😊

It is typical that people will shift, toss and turn etc throughout the night when they are subluxated. (Need chiropractic adjustments) If someone is not able to stay in one position throughout the evening then the body is seeking comfort or new positions to open up different nerve channels. (are used to toss and turn every night for years, in my specific situation due to my spinal injuries when they were being addressed through chiropractic care especially around the upper neck my tossing and turning decreased and continue to decrease with the towel supports. I know I am becoming subluxated (losing my adjustment) when I start tossing and turning again.)
Snoring can be from an upper cervical spine subluxation, it’s common that people that have neurological interference to the nasopharynx have difficulty with stabilizing the motor functions and tissue health in the region that can cause snoring. I have literally seen people’s snoring improve or decrease after chiropractic adjustments. This is not always the case because there are other causes for snoring.
Some things to consider: eat really clean good healthy food exercise regularly think positive sleep correctly and take care of your spine.
Snoring is not healthy and can cause heart conditions if the blood starts to thicken because the body is starving for oxygen at night. The human body will interpret the low oxygen level due to snoring similarly to being on mount Everest where the air is thin so the body will create more red blood cells to adapt to a low oxygen level. This will cause the blood to become thicker and the heart to have to pump harder wearing out the cardiovascular system sooner. If you are snoring do your best to increase the function of your body by living a healthy lifestyle and getting checked by a Chiropractor For professional recommendations and care.
I would also involve a medical doctor or natural path in your problem-solving to find out other options. Of course I’m interested in doing the least invasive approaches to rule those out as an option first.

If you do not have access to supports in your sleeping arrangement I’d recommend becoming creative and figuring out a way to still support your knees and your neck at night.
Because you do not likely have access to chiropractic care I would recommend becoming adept at yoga and core stability training to see if you can initiate your bodies self-correcting mechanisms. It is possible that through various types of exercises you may increase your bodys capacity to stabilize it self and increase your innately driven sleeping patterns.
The more you do yoga, core stability training, resistance training and other types of movement and exercise the more in tune you can become with your body and the more likely you will start to see solutions coming from you.
This is one of the best ways to find solutions to healing is to realize that the solution has been with you all along. You are the answer you have been looking for. Giving yourself permission to be the authority in solving your problems takes the responsibility back into your hands and gives you permission To let go of cultural flawed perspectives that keep you in the dark.
It doesn’t come instantly it takes time. This is what I eventually had to do to solve my health conditions that nobody could help me with. I realized nobody was coming to save me and I became the solution I was looking for.
If you are hitting a wall in your life and have a barrier because nobody has helped you get past the barrier this may be a blessing in disguise to realize that no one is coming to save you, and “if it is to be it is up to me.”
This caused me to listen finally to the little whisper on the inside and I realized that the symptom was not the problem it was the solution coming from the same infinite wisdom that created me. I gave myself permission to no longer subordinate to the authorities on the outside I started to become the authority by listening to the genius on the inside.

@@LEVAChiropractic I am 21 and I snore loudly I was told by my mother...is my heart getting damaged?
I do feel like my heart stops for an instant and then beats twice, or something like that, sometimes. It happens that I have these kind of heart "spasms" multiple at a time, like 3 of these spasms in a row, expecially when I'm nervous. I was diagnosed with a slight heart valve problem when I was a lot younger, but they said it's normal.
