The fact that we live in a world where in just a few months a man can go from life-threatening cancer to dancing like a madman with his new mustache gives me so much hope that we really can decrease world suck. Hank you are a monument to human progress and creativity. Maybe we all are, in a way.

Hank is going through a midlife teenage years finding of one self and it makes me feel like everyone should get more chances to just look at themselves and say "who am I" and decide if they want to try something new. This made me teary eyed to see Hank so carefree and healthy.

Its crazy to me that this look from Hank is the first time I have ever looked at him and said, "You are John Green's brother" just based on how he looks. It's uncanny the change that no hair has made on how he looks.

I was trying to figure out why this video made me feel so many things so deeply. I was happy, I was laughing, I was heartwarmed, I was nostalgic, and I overwhelmed with all of that. I was happy crying while hank was dancing and i wasn't sure why. Another commenter pointed out how nice it is to see Hank in remission, and i think thats what was hitting me. Cancer is scary, and I was scared. Despite the good prognosis, I was afraid we would lose Hank. But now, hes doing silly things, and dancing in pizza john shirts. Hank is back to being Hank, and that kinda just all hit me at once.
I didn’t know how viscerally I needed the classic “Hank dancing in Pizzamas shirts” montage until I received it. I really needed it. Happy Pizzamas, y’all.

It's true what they say, dance like nobody's watching. Or like the whole world is watching and they're cheering you on. One of the two
Confidence *is* a skill!
But also! You don’t have to be “good” at dancing to enjoy it and have fun with it. Movement to music is joyful and is such a way to feel connected to your body and get…un-stuck. From a mood, from a sedentary phase, from a dysregulating incident, etc.

This brought tears to my eyes. There is an in remission Hank having come back from one of the hardest battles a human can fight and he is dancing around without a care in the world with a new mustache. This feels very much like a new Hank but also like the old Hank. He is just Hank, and this is Pizzamas. And nothing could be better.

I watched this with my 3 year old a couple of days ago, and every day since, he has asked to watch "the dancing video", and the he dances when Hank dances. It's pretty sweet :)

Having just listened to the episode of Dear Hank and John where Mumma Green is sharing the microphone and they praise Hanks ability to dance, I can agree that Hank dances with the enthusiasm of a 3 year old, and with it creates an electricity that cannot be refused for I too am now dancing.
This was far more exciting than it had any right to be. I can't explain this thrill to anyone in my life.

Oh Man, weird nostalgia. Seeing the M on the hill as Hank was driving reminded me of his hike up there with Freemonkey. Hank and John have lived a lifetime between then and now. So many projects, challenges and surprises since then, it's staggering to think about.
I have watched pretty much every vlogbrothers video since... not 2007, but probably 2010? And this one was one of my favourites. Certainly in a good long while, and maybe ever, even given some of the amazing work you get to announce on this channel.
