- I've been having some amazing games in ranked in destroyers. I wanted to take a look at one the closest games I've had and explain exactly what I'm thinking about and the decisions I'm making.

I'll be honest. I don't always agree 100% with what you say in your videos, but this is pure quality content. Many good points exemplified in a very good example of a game with clear and to the point explanations what matters and why. Well done.

Man, destroyers for sure win games.... which is why ive been absolutely loving venezia so much lately. Push up with my dd's to the cap and literally win the flank with a single 10-20k salvo on a dd before piecing out with smoke.
Doing the same with my Nelson. DD's can spot, I smack the enemy DD with a ton of HE dmg. Usually enough to give my friendly ships the HE advantage to win a fight.
In seasons with T9, I love rolling in with my Missouri and blasting the first DD I find before switching to other targets.
You ever consider maybe reviewing someone else's replay to give advice in situations? Like seeing you explain your methods, your actions, and your responses to the match have helped me improve by a far amount, but I would love to hear your thoughts on someone else's game like moments you could navigate out of but for someone less experienced may feel like an un-winnable moment.

It's the same with me and the Dunkerque. I've had it for like a month and a half and I have about 100k xp on it.
I always have the torps selected so no one knows I am targeting them, I only switch to guns when needed. I land a lot of torps on unsuspecting people.
Also, drop the ship names in your video titles. For faster results when searching your library
well, it was good practice when the skill was a 1 pointer, i think most ppl don't use it anymore since 2 points is a bit much.
however..some still use it..so why not.
Lol! Had to look real close when you said "eigle"! I don't know what the actual pronunciation is, but yours is the least frenchy I've heard!😋 ah-jeel-ae has been my assumption.

T61 is a great ship but i still prefer the Z39 for T7 ranked because of its 5km Hydro, lets me play a bit more aggressively around islands
It is a great all around DD. It is lacking HP until you get Basics of Solvability (next on my list). It is usually equal to or worse than other T6 and T7 concealment so you have to play smarter at the CAPs. Trading blows with T7 DD's is a losing battle because they have higher DPM, unless you have backup. Hydro is great for rushing DD's in their smoke and catching them off guard. Quick reloading torps always a Plus. I used resources to purchase mine so no more money for WGs.
Destroyers in ranked are great. I got my first Kraken in a while in the Skane in Ranked.
I usually die to soon in a DD, i am better (not really good though) in BBs

This ship is just as bananas on Console version and one of my favorites for pushing DD's off of caps
Since every Bronze match is going to be a mix of tier 6 and 7, taking a tier 6 that you are good with may enable worse player to get a tier 7 slot where their stronger ship may carry them and allow them to contribute more.
The same is true for Silver in 8, 9.
and the enemy team gets perhaps a player who only has up to tier 6 and is therefore (likely) less experienced.
well... thats my problem really... i have over 300 ships total (more then half premium) so many choices of good ships.... and i cannot play many well, i do ok in Musashi, i played a couple hundred games in it, yes coop, but at least i am familiar with the ships handling and i do hit DDs with the guns...sometimes lol
Why is there a green star on your torpedo tubes mod? I have same captain (11 pt) and no star on my T-61
I wish more people would realize how important DDs are, gunboats in particular, and especially for rankeds. I've noticed the higher you rank (at least early on), the more high dpm DDs you see in the teams, 5v5 DD games aren't a rare thing to happen. And then you have a lot of people who play ships that like to play at long range or DDs that need to avoid fighting other DDs, and you see them complain about their teams all the time because they score high damage numbers without realizing how little impact they have. Even with the worst teams, playing something that can influece DD fights is a guaranteed 5% better WR
Yeah, had a lot of success in T8/9 ranked with Donskoi for that exact reason. I got to hang a bit back from my DDs, provide radar support, and throw some high-velocity Russian HE at the enemy DDs. :D
Hey PQ, don’t forget that playing T6 ship in Tier 7 match gives bonus when you deal DMG to those T7 ships. Combining the fact that you secured 3 solo caps, the end result is 2k+ base XP ;)
Waiting for the video about ISE and aviation BB, if they are good and what options does having planes gives. I presume potato will find vary uses for the planes.

AR's are the best class, they repair you when your almost dead and allow you to finish the operation 😜

not Z31 that ship is a HP Pinata that will loose a gunfight to an Akatsuki
they're not OP in terms of power, with some exceptions of course. They just have the highest skill floor/ceiling, it's really easy to mess up, and against experienced players it's hard to make them work
too bad 99 % of my dd mates are yolos xD
T-61 is the best T6 DD but it doesnt compare with T7 DDs like Blys, Sims, Leningrad, Anshan, Aigle, etc
Anshan is kind of a turd these days

@@ibnu9969 Thats what I thought when I first got it for free in a crate. I know its hard to believe, but its actually the best T7 DD. If you compare the specs to all other T7 DDs you will find its the best all round gun and torp boat

Hrrrgh, PQ you never pronounce a french name the way it's written. You should call it A-gl (at least that's the best i can do for it in english)
This is bronze… i did it with the anshan. its more or less easy there to outplay the enemies with a DD. I would like to see u with a gearing or halland in gold league with 3 smallands, radar cruisers + cv on the other side (what i often had in the last seasons)
