    I do not recommend soldering these batteries, but if you do, do it the right way
    Soldering 23s7p battery pack from samsung 30t cells
    It is important to use powerful soldering iron and big tip, so the cells will not heat so much.
    I used 0.2x7mm copper strip and 200w soldering iron
    Battery is still in progress.

    Sorry for the pendantic questions but what is the temperature of the iron tip you are using on this video? Where did you get the copper strips? What is the thickness of those copper strips?
    Thanks in advance!

      I'm actually not sure what the soldering iron temperature is. It is 200W soldering iron and it doesn't have adjustable temperature setting. those are 7mmx0.2mm copper strips from here: vi.aliexpress.com/item/32951994968.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.36.5a3b18028Rb62l&gatewayAdapt=glo2vnm

      Cool. How many amps continously those copper strips can handle? It is real copper?

    • @pajajaska
      @pajajaska  Před 6 měsíci +2

      @@Full_Throttle_no_Brakes It seems to be real copper, its not magnetic. I have been using it on many battery packs with no issues. One 0.2x7 strip can handle easily 30A peaks. I have builded samsung 30t 24s12p battery pack with this same technique. I take 330A from that battery with no issues.

      @@pajajaska Awesome. In the future I might use your technique instead lipos batteries on my builds

      450°c and you need a good 200w iron but not that stupid looking thing in the video

    Thank you for the video. I was wondering how to do this properly. What wattage iron are you using? I have an 80 watt. Is that enough?

    • @pajajaska
      @pajajaska  Před 7 měsíci +2

      I have 200w iron. Im not sure if 80w will be enough. Also having a big tip is important, so use largest tip you have. If it does take too long to melt the solder to the battery you need bigger tip and more powerful soldering iron. I recommend to practice with scrap cells first.

      I’m curious too, I have a 500w soldering axe given to me as a gag gift. It’s not regulated and the tip is thicc, probably not a great idea. 🤷‍♂️

    How do you charge your batteries

    • @pajajaska
      @pajajaska  Před 3 měsíci

      I have adjustable charger. I can charge any 0-120V batteries with it

    It's your website in English language. also can i use spot welder on this copper strips.

    • @pajajaska
      @pajajaska  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yea, there should be a translate buttons on the corner. If you want to spot weld copper you need to use nickel copper sandwitch method. So you put a nickel strip top and copper strip at the bottom. Its hard to spot weld only copper.

      @@pajajaska I see you scratch the top of the battery or i'm wrong??. if you scratch then you doing it because the soldering point have better grip yes???

    • @pajajaska
      @pajajaska  Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@operatorpsiochy592 those cells had old spot welding marks, so I had to grind them flat. I have found that scratching the cell is not necessary if you want to solder cells. Just make sure its clean. But if the solder doesn't want to stick I would then try sanding the cells.
