As many have said, thanks for all this Tome4 content, there's so little available and you're doing great work. Really looking forward to more class guides!
Your guide videos are the best!!
Спасибо за ваши видео, как всегда, все четко и по делу ❤
I've been waiting for this man, thank you for all the amazing informative content!
Thanks, for informative videos my friend 👍
I do tend to explore the Lair fully, but I leave the chests for last now. Although small, there are still chances that they can spawn a nasty combo of rares, a unique, or even a randboss, and you don't want to be unprepared for that. Furthermore, unless you have some way to teleport/go through walls, it's a good idea to use the Rod and wait until you are almost out before opening anything, since you don't want to end up stuck there with the randboss of death and nowhere to run.
Yeah good point, I wanted to mention you should also use it with chests, but forgot about it.
I have found this level to be mildly dangerous if you play archmage with at least 3 levels of pulverizing auger. It lets you dig out a path instantly so you do not need to follow the worms and you can use teleport to get out of trouble a good shield is needed though.
I love Pulverizing Auger, instant speed digging feels so good to have
Hy Drybe, thanks for the video and all guides on ToME. How do you think, can you make one about items? Things like what to look for, what to drop instantly, what to buy in shops etc because it becomes really messy especially if you have an OCD.
I've tried making a video like that a couple of times and was never satisfied with it, but I think I finally figured out a way to do it right. So... maybe
@@Drybe Would be amazing!
just tried sandworm lair at lvl 13 and obviously died, will farm more before going
oh i see its because of roguelike difculty so even normal mobs are rare :DDDD

Is there any zone in the game where its worth it to enter it early to level lock it on purpose? I assume not since it would only be for the first area and you would miss some xp.
And how about a rune/inscription tier list? 😉
I basically never level lock intentionally, I don't find it's worth the effort.
Like you say it's only for the first floor anyways and missing out on XP pains me, even though it's not really an issue on Insane, since you get so much of it.
I've seen people recommend level locking Celia, since her zone is easy to enter.
The inscription tier list is coming soonish, I just wanted to test out the blink rune more :)
Completely off-topic question, plz forgive: what's your opinion of madness?
I've never even played a run on it yet. From what I've read, it requires a lot of cheesing/abusing mechanics to avoid oneshots and I don't think I would enjoy that.
But mainly Insane feels pretty much perfect to me, I never feel like it's unfair (if you stay out of optional dungeons like Dark Crypt) and every death I know I could've either played better or prepared my character better.
