I wish Chronomancers had a class evolution. Tales of Maj'Eyal has one of the best ''time'' mechanics.
old disruption shield was bonkers and so much fun
cool guide ill try this and see if i can get my first nightmare win!
First! I just heard about beams and you already had my interest. Do you have a possessor guide planned? I head it's a very strong class, but it's unique so i'm not sure what you think about it
I've not played Possessor yet, but I've gotten a couple of comments talking about how cool it is, which is making me want to play it soon.
Definitely waiting for a brawler build both anti magic and tinkering
I finally beat the Elandar and Argoniel today, thanks to your very informative guides.
do you have any different tips for the EoR? i guess you havent played it in ages but maybe which of the races work the best with the prod? or some general help like that
I'd go Orc, all of their talents are pretty decent.
I did win an Archmage EoR run 3 months ago, but it was as Technomancer.
Biggest tip I can give is get Saw Projector tinker for gloves in the early game, it's just a bit of extra damage, but it's very helpful, because the enemies can be a lot tankier.
There are some tips here for EoR post Sunwall Outpost, which I think might be the hardest part of the campaign: www.reddit.com/r/ToME4/comments/19a4m23/embers_of_rage_midgame/
You need resistance reduction bad, the last few bosses have a lot resistance to almost everything.
Can't you get 2 orbs by using Drem's frenzy or how it's called? Also the last talent in meta tree should be able to reset non fixed cooldown spells. So maybe it's possible to even have 3 orbs going at the same time without relying on mirror image. I also remember the first talent from meta being very useful as well, it's like another rune of dissipation I believe. And I guess I was wrong abut quicken spell being gone, it seems like the effect (up to 30 spell cooldown reduction) was merged to spellcraft now.
Drem Frenzy unfortunately only resets the cooldown of non-instant talents.
I do like the first meta talent, but I just didn't feel the need for it here. Once I got Arcane Amplification Drone things just died and Dissipation was enough for the final boss.
The last meta talent to reset orb cooldown is an option, but again when you 1-2 shot enemies, I felt like there's not much reason to spend a turn for even more damage.
