IMPORTANT. Just checked. With adept prodigy and +0.10 to bone magic (staff of bones, kor-pul staff, or any other item or invested category point) you actually get 5 bone shields.
Really like these videos, good quality and very informative.
Good guide as always, interesting build through catalepsy, i usually playing corruptor through worm, that's be nice trying something new.

Congratulations on the win! Awesome. I think there's more to consider than presented here, but this must be because corruptor is a class that I really like.
But one nitpick in particular, since you took ethereal form and have extra generic points, I think it's worthwhile to eventually split some stat points away from con into dex and improve the light armor mastery. This doesn't protect from powerful rogue enemies, but another bonus is to save Eform bonuses from random weapon attacks. Paying to put 3 points into staff combat to get the defensive posture sustain is also worthwhile imo. Anyway, this is the kind of small decision that takes away extra attention.
I've also had the grand corruptor die and it's quite frustrating. The early game for an anorithil is tedious and now that that quest failed I can't stack saves so much.
You're right, I've gotten used to ignoring the staff tree, but in this case I had so many spare generic points, that doing that would've been better.
Huge fan of the channel, not a ton of in depth ToME guides out there.
My only suggestion for future videos, could you put some sort of general rotation on there? I'm aware that a lot of this game is extremely situational and just making the best out of a bad one, but for newer people like me who don't have a ton of experience yet I think it would be helpful.
Basically like an opening sequence, then it all goes balls to the wall from there and you're fighting for your life anyway, but an opener would be nice.

Now i wonder what you can make of the Reaver class ive been trying to make it work for so long but always get rolled
I think I played Reaver like once and also didn't get very far. I'll get to it eventually, although probably not the next few characters.
32:54 - unlocked it by accident, while trying to unlock Marauder. Was the last locked class for me.
38:07 - Strangest thing. Usually I either die during fight with corruptor, or die during fight against Zigur. Corruptor himself only died on me once. Feels very random.
It's a weird fight, with how you instantly get teleported to Zigur with no time to prepare.
I think maybe his Bone Shield got stripped, which caused him to die so quickly.
@@Drybe Biggest problem - even if on max HP, you are teleported with all cooldowns still ticking, making you sometimes unable to do anything in that fight. And considering that you need to damage corruptor hard enough - Bone shield would be definitely off.

It's Bulwark (90%) or Berserker next, then I want to check out Brawler, past that who knows.
I do really like Writhing One, having a permanent summon you can gear is fun.
Wonderful guides as always. Is there a mind slayer guide in the coming future? I enjoy the class just struggling to get a win.
It's definitely in the upper half of classes I want to a make a video about.

I probably won't be talking about Alchemist for a while, I don't enjoy it's playstyle much, but the next video will be about Bulwark or Berserker, which are both also starter classes.
