Thanks for the recipe. Really wanted to comment and say how the video was so calming - no unwanted music and unnecessary editing... appreciated! 🌼
Thanks for that motivating ass comment!! I appreciate you.
Found out about Spelt flour at a vegan store with an in house restaurant. They made spelt biscuits and ooommmggg 😱. I didn’t swell up, I didn’t have mucus in my throat (TMI?), I didn’t feel sluggish, I didn’t feel yucky and gross on the inside, most importantly I didn’t have Regret and guilt. Honestly y’all, after I eat White flour things I feel instant guilt and I think my gut gets angry. I feel so blesssed to have found out about Spelt flour and even more blessed to have the opportunity to watch this young lady make one of my guilty pleasures with Guiltless flour 😂😂😂😂. Omg I’m about to go off with Spelt flour. I hope you made Cinnamon roll with this flour because I will watch that too. 😋 ok enough of my excitement. Have a good day and I would like to say something more than thank you for sharing so I’ll say : I’m grateful for this lesson. Peace🥰
Yaaay thank you for your comment because I am on the way to the store to get my ingredients. My Sweetheart told me this was the real flour and I looooove tortillas and cinnamon rolls too!
I am rolling! Did you get a chance to make these? I am just seeing these comments. I am going to make cinnamon rolls ASAP!!! Stay Tuned and stay blessed.

Thank you sis
Super. Im trying this tomorrow.
Looks so delicious, thanks for sharing!
you are welcome
Omg look at that basil!!!!
Out of all the spelt tortilla recipes on YT, yours look like the best. I love making vegan and pescatarian tacos at home - roasted vegetables, garlicky portobello, jerk salmon are my top 3 should-be-famous faves.
For years I’ve been using a really good brand of all-natural corn tortillas for them. But now I’m going “high alkaline”. Looking forward to making these soon! Thanks for the great recipe and soothing video. :-)
Thank you! jerk salmon sounds FIRE!!
@@PlanetUmoja - They are all fire, even if I do say so myself! LOL For the roasted vegetable tacos I oven-roast zucchini (sliced into disks then quartered)…sliced strips of red, green, and yellow bell peppers… grape tomatoes halved, and toss in whole garlic cloves to roast with everything all in one baking pan uncovered so the veggies caramelize a bit. Zucchini is added last because they don’t take as long to cook.
Toppings are shredded romaine, shredded red cabbage if I have it, thinly sliced red onion, and harrissa sauce. Wrapped in a warm, soft corn tortilla (or now maybe a spelt tortilla!) they are a flavor bomb! I make them at about 2-3 times a month. Hope you try them. :-)
I like that cook w 💗
Loved your tutorial sunshine. Just subscribed. Peace and Wellness to you. 💚🌞🇨🇦
THank you! Same to you.

These look amazing, I can hardly wait to try this recipe!!! ✨🙏🏽✨
Enjoy it! And most of all have fun making them. I recommend using white speñt flour for a less gritty taste.
"we want to have a light positive mind" -> "get out frustration on the dough" lmao
LMAO! ;)
Great video sister!!!! Best tortilla video yet🥰
you are so sweet!! Thank you. Sending abundant vibes to you and your family.
These look delicious
My fav!
Hubby changed my diet due to severe asthma and copd. I had to order my spelt flour and I’m ready to make some yummy foods with it. I’m so excited and thankful for your video. I’ll let you know how it turns out❤️
ENJOY Lovely. I pray it serves you. Please let me know. Shout out to your Hubby. May you heal with ease.
You can buy it at Wholefoods as well.
🙏🏿 thank u Queen 👑
Yessss💕💫🙌🏾
Yasssssssss!!!! Can’t wait for our next batch 😛😋
😍😍
Good stuff😎
Thanks! 😁
Love and light sis ❤️
Thank you! Sending it times 1000 back to you sis
Amazing video thank you so much. How long can you keep this for please?
You can freeze them for a long time but when you re heat, use the pan again to heat them not the oven cause it may come out crispy.
Mine came out good. I used olive oil instead of the grapeseed. Thanks for the recipe.
You’re welcome
olive and avocado is the best choice. seed oil will deteriorate your connective tissue and collagen
The tortillas look so good ! Just a question: did you sauté them on high heat ? Thanks
Yes I did, only need about 1-2 mins each side. Once you see bubbles , FLIP!
Hello, I love the idea of these, thank you for sharing this recipe. I've only got wholemeal spelt in my cupboard. Would this work too., 😊
It will work but they tortilla will have a more grit texture. You made need a little more water.
Do you have the basil sauce recipe? Also you made me laugh when you said put love in it, then later said take out your frustrations. Lol
Hahaha ! Wow, i didn’t even peep that😅. I can share with you the basil sauce. Email me, natt@planetumoja.com
Heal 😊😊😊❤️✨
Greetings: Unique one, they look so delicious 😋, thanks for sharing with us all! I want to know can you use “Sprout Spelt Flour” instead of White Spelt Flour? Have a fantastic day!👆🏾💚💫🌿💫💚👆🏾….
Hey there, yes it may have a grittier taste. Just a heads up.
Thanks again!!!💚👆🏾👑
You snapped making these lol
Making them again tomorrow 😎
Did I miss something???? When did you put them in the oven? Fry them????? The next thing I saw was a pineapple!
lol! The recipe link from the orignal recipe is in the description box. They are then place on a med to hot skillet till you see some bubbles, about 1 min each side.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi, so how did you sauté them in grapeseed oil?
Hey! I just heat the pan. It’s a dry pan. There is oil in the dough so no need for more on the pan.
Do you have a video about making a meat substitute
Do you mean like seitan? CHeck out my recipe playlist czcams.com/video/VqvbyUbE51Y/video.html
Do you not need to let the dough rise after kneading it the first time? I've been watching alot of DIY bread videos, my next step in my vegan journey, thanks!
Hey , no not for tortillas. Maybe for bread you would need to.
Can i used standing mixer
I’ve used a food processor before... not 100% sure on the standing mixer
Would have been nice to see how you cooked them.
throw them on a skillet or a pan that you would use for like pancakes. no oil needed. wait for some bubbles then flip and let cook for another 30 secs.
How do you store them in freezer ?
@@aminatakane8059 Store spelt flour tortillas in a freezer-safe bag or container. Separate each tortilla with parchment paper to prevent sticking. They can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Come back
soon come,
From putting love to putting anger..weird! however thanks for video!
Lolol! yaaa that was weird. But the tortillas super tasty, promise ;)
I wonder how you cooked them?
throw them on a skillet or a pan that you would use for like pancakes. no oil needed. wait for some bubbles then flip and let cook for another 30 secs.
Is the oil absolutely necessary?
GReat question, I have honestly never omitted the oil. Not sure if it will work but I can say if you do try it to add more water to sub for the oil. LMK how it goes. Good luck!
Lol Mine looked nothing like this!
Are there steps you did that you didn’t show here!?!
No, I linked the website where I got the original recipe. I do recommend using white spelt flour from nature’s legacy , vita spelt. To make any other flour just doesn’t come out the same.
How do you store these?
I store in a ziplock and re heat on the pan when I want to use it the next day.
@@PlanetUmoja thank you
@@tspaulding3845 you are welcome!
What are your measurements?
In the description it shares the link with the exact recipe.
FYI spelt also has gluten
THANKS FOR the UPDATE!
Spelt has gluten
You fail to complete this heating process to us
Wait, spelt has gluten.
Does it? I thought it was gluten free?
@@PlanetUmoja I just Googled it, they say it has gluten. But it looks like those are smaller amounts, so might be tolerable for people not eating gluten.
@@lolitabb88 It still contains gluten BUT for people with IBS this flour can be the holy grail. If I eat any other type of flour I have cramps and swell up.
Thanks for sharing, I will try this, it looks so good.
Jesus is the only way to Heaven ✝️
I was going to subscribe but then you didnt show how you cook them so ... nahhhh
Awww you just fry them on a pan honey for 2-3 mins each side. God bless!
Too much oil and where are the ingredient measurements??
@@jim4690 hello, if you read the description it has a link for the original recipe. 😎 enjoy
@@PlanetUmoja Cool thanks
😄
Oil should go first...
omg!! looks WOW!
