    My drain bolt rounded I put vise grips on it an hit it with some heat an it came right out

    They make special sockets that take off rounded bolts like that. I dented the crap out of my pan recently and have to replace it. I think my set is made by blue point they dig into the bolt as you loosen it.

    Can you do a video of an oil pressure switch on the 3.8 Jeep Wrangler there is no videos about this .

    A small pipe wrench on that bolt would have worked

    You know you could have just used a strip socket to get the drain plug out

      @@developmentdivision122 I would understand but also that is in my eyes a waste of a perfectly good oil pan

      A video of how to remove a stripped bolt and a oil pan would have been more useful. The only pan I will drill a hole in is a transmission pan. So I can weld a drain plug in it for next time. Tap the new plug the right size you can add a transmission fluid temp sensor. If your trans doesn't have one. I did that on two different cars.

    Finally! A video to help me with my problem. Nice work. Do I need a special bit to drill into pan?

    Damn dude a new oil pan cause of a rounded drain plug? Haha.. you could have just gotten an extractor socket set and saved a shit ton of time

    No gasket?

    • @developmentdivision122
      @developmentdivision122  Před 2 lety

      Not for lower. Upper pan does have the gasket. There’s a video on the channel on the upper portion.
