Top job so far! Looking forward to seeing part 2
Your music selection are great! Cant wait for part 2! 🤙🏻🔥
Thanks, bro!
You do an amazing job, you’re the reason why I chose my first Harley a 2014 883. Keep up the great videos, blogs and content, not a lot of riding time here in North East Wisconsin so I need to upgrade my bike on cold days. Thanks again man.
Thanks, man! That means a lot to me. Not too much riding time here in south central Wisconsin in this cold weather too. I hope for better weather soon!
Love these "how to" videos Joe...bike is looking great!!
Thanks, bro!
Nice job! Keep ‘em coming!
Man, when I did my tank lift, I thought for sure I broke the bike. Lol
I got everything done, aaaand there was one cylinder firing. Took it all apart and put it back together again twice with no change. Turned out when I had removed the plastics, I guess I tugged on the EFI plug(s) just ehough that one cylinder was not getting fuel. I didn't even touch them, but lesson learned. Check ALL connections when messing with the harness. :D
I think it had been loose for awhile, as the occasional ignition pops and acceleration pops went away, and it ran smoother afterwards.
I recently installed a DK CUSTOMS 2" Tank Lift, Tucked Wires under Tank. Relocated Ignition Switch & Coil with DK CUSTOMS relocation bracket.Replaced stock Plug Wires with DK CUSTOMS Pro Spark Plug Wires... Installed new KST 16" Apehanger Handlebars... Burley Cable Kit... I definitely removed my gas tank for this job 👍🤙✌️
Dang! Those are some good mods! I bet those KST apes look amazing!
@@GreatEgret Thank you... I posted a few videos on my channel. If you want give them a view... Let me know what you think of my 2011 Nightster.
Go Joe !!👍
What part of Wisconsin you from. Would like to meet up for a ride next year. Will be hitting Route 66 in the spring in mid-May. From San Diego to Milwaukee. FYI from Eau Claire area.
I’m in south central Wisconsin. Madison area. That will be a hell of a trip in May for you! Hit me up in spring.
1st🤘😎🇺🇸
what's the purpose to relocate them?
Looks. Cleans up the space below the lifted tank.
I would think the coil would see a reduction in heat being on the side of the engine rather than directly over a hot cylinder. Tank lift could reduce temps giving the engine more room for air movement. Makes sense to me, I've not done any research on it tho. Definitely looks cool.
I’ve heard both those reasons before. Makes sense to me and I also think it looks cool! 😎
Pretty blurry for 2160 4K
That’s not blurriness you see. It’s low light noise. The sensor in the camera I used for this video doesn’t play nice in low light and when the iso gets booted because of it, it creates a bit of noise. I’m not disappointed though. Despite the low light noise, the quality of this how-to video is still better than the majority of others out there. Besides, it’s CZcams where the content matters more than a tiny bit of low light noise.
Tank lifts: one of the most stupidest modes trending in the last several years. You want to make your tank look like it is a custom tank mounted on a chopper (hardtail frame), then get a hardtail frame and mount a tank. The raised tank makes you look like a wanna be who bought yet another bolt on do-hicky from the aftermarket industry to fit in with the crowd. Other than that, the bike looks fine.
You sure like wasting your own time.
Let's not forget the fact of the cleaner wiring, and improved airflow on the heads, just so so stupid lmao
