Wow! Your hair is amazing in the intro to the intro! I enjoyed the swatches and comparisons. I have realized I hardly ever put on lipstick anymore. I love bright colors, but I have got out of the habit of wearing them. I almost exclusively use Fitglow Lip Serums. They are so nourishing and last well and I am liking the translucent color these days.

Lisa really knocked it out of the ballpark with this launch. I am on a protest no buy this month but come August, be sure I'll be on her website. I thought I'd be investing in a couple of her lipsticks from her earlier campaigns (I've been dying to get Rainbow Spill) but these new colours are so beautiful. The New Wave is especially tempting. Loved watching your in-depth comparisons, Kiki.
She is bringing out some new colours for her Liquid Lurex eye shadows. Looking forward to seeing what she comes up with...❤

I am in love with your hair in the beginning of the video!!!! 🤩 I can’t imagine not having AC because I grew up in Miami! Southern CA has lovely weather but I know it warms up!! Here is Arizona it rained two days in a row and cooled down to 93 today! 😂 AC is running full speed!

Thank you very much! I am fair something of MAC NW20 and more light toned in the summer. I find many of Lisa’s lipsticks are very dark and wash me out especially when my skin is fair in the winter such as Velvet Muse, Velvet Beauty that I can wear now but later in the late autumn and winter are just too cool/grey or brown toned on me so they wash me out. But the new collection looks amazing like Sunday Matinee how is that? Is that darker? I think you compared that to CT’s Amazing Grace which I dont have but always wanted to get it.My fav lipstick from CT is Kidmans Kiss because it brightens my face but is not too bright. I wear it all year round though more in the spring time because of its warm pink tone.
Lisa’s customer service recommended me Strawberry Shock, Je ne sais quoi, Wonder Wheel and Sunday Matinee. However I think Strawberry Shock might also be similar to TF True Coral which I have and you thought similar to Je ne sais quoi.
What would you recommend? I am always looking for lipsticks that are more vibrant even in the winter as I feel some colours just wash me out.
Would very much appreciate your opinion on this. For the record I am in my early forties so guess that is also the reason why some colours just look meh and have green eyes and blonde hair so dont like very cool/grey toned muted lipsticks.
Really, I think this collection just works well - I didn't try all of them, but the 8 I bought all work beautifully without that odd undertone that can be deadening on some people (on me, too). I'd break it down by do you like a full coverage more matte lip or a more sheer satin to shine look? From there, the colors that you prefer. Sunday Matinee doesn't have the brightness to it that you mention you like. It's a great "I don't know what to wear" shade - but doesn't have that "lights up my whole face" element about it. Personally, Strawberry Shock and New Wave are my favorites.
@@TheHoodedLid thank you very much for your comment! I have Bobbi Brown Babe which is my go to shade most of the year. I prefer both matte and more sheer satin colours but I have fairly small mouth so it always comes down to what looks nice. Tom Ford and CT does these formulas that make your pout look fuller so hence I like the lipsticks. Lisa’s Velvet ones are good just quite dark so they can wash me out or make ny mouth smaller...if that makes sense. 😄 I did look at Strawberry Shock and looks so lovely but I have TF’s True Coral though that is satin formula. My fav red of all time is Rouge Dior 999 looks so nice all year round. ☺️ I might still need to think about my order...after all it is not like I am running out of lipsticks...I have a few 😁
I wish creators didn't feel they had to apologize for background noise that is it of their control. I rarely even notice any noise! Your content is good. Not everyone can have a special studio with a perfect sound setup. Don't take any complainers to heart.

I think that rather than Lisa’s new lipsticks, I’m going to spend on Dries Van Noten instead. I’m just hesitant still because the color swatches on their site is not the best and I’m afraid of not getting what I think I’m getting, color-wise. I adore your taste in lipstick colors, and I am tempted by Graphic Ochre. Do you still love that color? Do you have any recommendations please?

I thought the Dries swatches were pretty good online - be sure to look at them all, the tube and the swipe. Love them all - but they are scented, so be aware. No, I'm not interested in the Guerlain - it looks too warm for me. The hair - it's the new Dyson!

I like those reddish pink colors as well. Approximately a zillion years ago I had a warm pink lip color called Gainsborough Pink that I loved, but I can’t remember the brand... it might have been Prescriptives. As usual you look fab in everything 😊

One of my Lisa Eldridge lipsticks broke and they can be difficult to get off.
That was useful being able to compare colours, although the LE lipsticks just looked more ‘classy’ on you somehow.

Oh deffffffffff PM!! I was gifted three of their lipsticks, in different formulas too, and I swear from bullet to hand or lip, it's like an insanely different color. I've decluttered two of them because I couldn't anymore with being so visually confused.
I've been dying to find a lipstick that is the same color as CT Amazing Grace. That is my favorite color ever but I don't like matte. I ordered Sunday Matinee and I am hoping it is comfortable enough for me. If she made a Luxuriously Lucent lipstick in the same shade as CT Amazing Grace I will be in heaven. I think it could happen some day. Fingers crossed. Je ne sais quoi is close but not as pink in my opinion.
Love Amazing Grace! They are all a little difference. I thought compared to Too Bad I'm Bad, Amazing Grace has more white in it - a bit more yellow, too.

I absolutely love New Wave. It's so unexpected and lovely and modern. I actually returned Night Moves. It looked absolutely awful on me and too expensive to throw into a drawer.

Never get upset with names of things the English offer.) They treat the sounds with their phonetics right on the surface, while Americans dive in R-es and vowels. Luxuriously lucent is sort of an exercise more than a stiff and the best description of the real thing. Forgive Lisa for her RP excellence and enjoy your deep version of the lucidity and shine...) Thanks for swatches which are the closest to my own colour scheme of appearance .)
The Gucci lipstick doesn’t last more than 10 minutes on me.
