Walk the WEIGHT OFF! | Lose Weight with a Walking Workout for All Ages | Day 1 Walk at Home Program

- čas přidán 7. 06. 2021
- This interval training program is suitable for anyone who can currently walk for 30 minutes 4-6 times a week. If you are at that fitness level then you can start this program (suitable exercise for seniors, beginners, and people of all ages). Interval training is geared for burning calories and fat, building muscle, and getting past that plateau effect that so many people hit. Interval training uses brief bursts of high-intensity activity which provides the effects people are looking for...more results!
Today's workout (day 1) is our first interval training day. We'll walk at a regular pace for 10 minutes then go as fast as we can for 1 minute. The speed you go for the 1 minute needs to be geared to YOUR fitness level. It might be a fast walk, a slow jog or a run. It doesn't matter what you do as long as you are working out as hard as YOU can for the 1 minute. If you're just starting out, then just walk faster than your usual pace. I apologize for repeating this but you really need to cater the intervals to YOUR fitness level. If you are used to jogging, then during the 1 minute, go as fast as you can. After our first 1 minute fast walk/jog, we are going to go slower for 2 minutes. We'll complete 5 rounds of the 1 minute fast walk/2 minute regular walk and then finish with a 5 minute cool-down.
The breakdown of each day:
Day 1: 30 minute interval workout • Walk the WEIGHT OFF! |...
Day 2: 20 minute walk • At Home Exercise Progr...
Day 3: 30 minute interval workout • WEIGHT LOSS WORKOUT | ...
Day 4: Rest day or a gentle walk (there is no video)
Day 5: 40 minute walking workout • LOW IMPACT WALKING WOR...
Day 6: 20 minute walking workout • 20 Minute LOW IMPACT W...
Day 7: 20 minute walking workout • LOW IMPACT HOME WORKOU...
Ideally, you'll continue this workout for 4 weeks. When I did this workout 20 some odd years ago, I shed weight really quickly. I had about 20 pounds to lose and I lost it. Interval training is super effective if done properly. As with anything, your body will start to get used to the workout so I'll create a new program for weeks 5-8. It'll just be a bit more challenging which is what your body will need at that point. Please email me if you have any questions about the workouts. Always listen to your body and take an extra day off at any point if you really feel you need it. The last thing you want is injuries so definitely listen to your body and go at the pace that suits your body and your fitness level.
If you enjoyed the workout, please subscribe and write a comment! I'd love to hear from you!
Wishing you improved health!
Jules

If you can, stick with this program for 4-6 weeks before moving on to the next stage of the program. Give your body time to adjust in order to get the best benefits (and to prevent injuries). Go at YOUR own pace and work within your limits and abilities. I look forward to hearing from you as you see progress and results!
I have started this from today onwards....I am doing yoga also...I am 65.5kg...I will let you know the result after 10 days
Thank u so much 💓
This was a sweaty alright 🥵. My legs are on fire 🔥. Thank you again for all your hard work in helping us get fitter and drop the weight off too, your awesome 🤩 xx
Aw, thank you Agnes:)
@@ImprovedHealth is it possible to do this one every day lovely?
I am in tears, after being overweighed for 25 years I managed to lose 75 kg and guess what? I could do this exercise!! Yeahhhhhh!!!!
That's absolutely AMAZING!!! I can understand how tears would fall with knowing how hard you've worked to get yourself where you are now. I am smiling sitting here thinking of how proud you must be of yourself. You've obviously been working hard to lose weight and get healthy. I am so happy for you! I hope my program helps you to continue to get to where you want to be. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions for me to help you get closer to your goals (although, it sounds like you're doing an amazing job reaching your goals!). You go girl!
@@ImprovedHealth thank you so much! Your program helps me very much, and I will most definitely get in touch if I have question. Thank you again for your kind words and making this available for all of us. ❤️
I am 65, and you snuck in 5 minutes of "RUNNING" - I haven't run since college! Awesome!!
You just planted a very big smile on my face! I loved reading your comment. Thanks for sharing that with me.
Your videos popping up in my Q are a blessing! I lost both my dogs within the last 3 months and walking them was my main source of exercise. I just cannot bring myself to go for a walk without them now. Decreased exercise has not been helping my depression. This workout is my first since my second dog passed. Your pleasant demeanor, encouraging words on screen and the level of effort required were absolutely perfect for me today. Did I cry through some of it…absolutely…but I did not stop. I will be seeing you daily from now on. I have a daughter in college and I need to stay healthy for her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Know you have helped me and I am sure many many more out there. Peace. 💚
Hi, I am so sorry to hear about losing both of your faithful companions in such a short span of time. I can understand how difficult it must be going for out for walks now. Eventually, you will be able to again. Until then, I am so happy to hear you enjoyed this workout and that you plan to continue to exercise. I work with people with depression and I am so happy to read that you understand exercise is crucial for improving your mood. I also love how you are thinking of your daughter when you think of your own health. You're right...she needs you to stay healthy and to be here for her, too. I hope my workouts continue to give you the motivation to continue exercising every day to help you heal until you can return to walking outdoors.
@@ImprovedHealthOh my goodness, thank you for this kind and thoughtful reply to my post. You are a blessing 🤗
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR WORKOUTS! I just found you a couple weeks ago and am totally hooked and sharing with others. I'm doing your interval series and getting stronger every day. Thank you for all you do to create these workouts for all of us!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to let me know you're new here, and a MASSIVE thank you for sharing my channel with others. I truly appreciate that. I'm sure you've already figured it out, but I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. I hope you continue to enjoy the videos that you try on my channel.
Thank you! Finally a program that truly is for seniors. Your routines are helping me get my health back one workout at a time! So very grateful!
Thanks so much, Donna. I am happy to read you are enjoying the workouts. 💗
🌸🌸🌸 A hop, skip and a dance down a lane of cherry blossoms on a beautiful spring day!
So uplifting, thank you for these workouts we can do just about anywhere.
I love your comment. Thanks for putting a smile on my face:)
I just can't tell you how awesome these workouts are! As a 65-year-old with arthritis, your workouts are the only ones that don't make me hurt even more. I usually do one in the morning then another one after dinner. I feel SO much better after doing these workouts. Please keep them coming!
Thank you SO much for your comment, Patricia. I am thrilled to read that you're enjoying these and that you're feeling great doing them. 🥰
Thank you Jules for another great workout, you put so much effort into your workouts great music, countdown, steps, no talking. You are truly a blessing!!
Thanks so much, Helen!!!
I'm not a senior yet, but I think these programs are for everyone! I especially love the one minute high intensity intervals! The programs are easy to follow but you feel like you have really used your body!👍👏
Even though I cater to seniors, my workouts are definitely suitable for all ages. They're just low impact and easier on the joints but otherwise still provide a great workout (especially these interval ones). Welcome to my channel, Tanya!
I love this program. I'm 73 and have bad knees and I’m amazed that I can keep up and not be in pain when the workout is over. This is the perfect speed and intensity for me. Thank you so much!
Hi Carole! I'm so glad to hear the program works for you. The next 7 day series will be out next week:)
Not sure how I have missed this one out, until today! Super sweaty fun, thank you Jules 😊
Hi from Brisbane, Australia. I'm in lockdown again (our country does that alot😁) and am so glad I discovered your program yesterday. Completed day 1 and 2. Loved the music and your lovely smile and gentle voice. Thank you for your generosity in posting theses vids. Stay well everyone
Canada is similar to Oz with all the lockdowns although we are finally out now. Hopefully things will improve for you soon. I have fond memories of Brisbane, and Australia as a whole. Can’t wait to get back one day.
Great workout! Really enjoy it !Thank you so much!
Absolutely love your workouts and tailored perfectly for seniors wishing to remain fit, flexible and healthy. Indoor steps are ideal during cold, and icy weather. Thank you Jules. Great mix of music is apporeciated.
Thanks Yvette! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for your low-impact walking videos. I especially appreciate the no talking, all music ones that have the clock in the corner and the steps in the lower right. I happened upon you purely by accident because I am a fan of Mamma Mia music, and your video came up. (I love that one!) I now am doing your work-out videos daily. This one is my favorite because there is a combination of walk/jog in it. I hope you incorporate more of this in future videos. I look forward to more of your videos - walk the weight off programs. I appreciate your enthusiasm, experience and encouragement! Thank you again!
Hi Karen! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for telling me about your experiences with my various workouts. I have a new 7 day program coming out this week which follows the last 7 day program (x 4 weeks!). Do try to do the 7 day program x 4 weeks before advancing if you can (and if you don't get bored!). Either way, hope you enjoy the new program, too!
I just found you and am soooo happy. Great music, no talking or counting. I feel like I can finally lose some weight and improve my health!!! Thank you
This is the program I did to lose weight 20 years ago and still do when I want to get in better shape. It really is a great program. As the weeks go by, feel free to email me if you have questions. You will see results…just stick with it and work within your abilities.
Good Morning....week 2 and we are off and running, I feel energized after, my husband and I are going for a walk now. Have a fabulous day, be safe and God Bless.
Looking forward to Day 2! Thanks, Jules
Jules you had made a comment about incorporating Intervals into our workout schedules at least a couple times a week. I have been doing this for a couple months and this is the first time I have made it running all 5 intervals. I have COPD so for me, it is a huge accomplishment. Not to mention strengthening my lungs. Thanks Jules for being such an inspiration.
Oh yay! Congratulations on running all 5 intervals! Your consistency and dedication with working out is paying off:)
Another invigorating workout. Thank you.
I just finished this workout and came straight onto my computer to tell you how much I enjoyed it! I am of an age where I have my limits, and your videos suit my needs to the T. I'm so glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work 👏👏👏❤
Thank you SO much for taking the time to tell me. I always appreciate hearing from viewers and the comments are what keep me motivated to continue. I had fun creating this program. I look forward to your feedback as you try more workouts. Thanks again!
I loved this interval workout! Thanks for popping up when I least expected. I'll be back! 😉
Thank you, Linda! I look forward to hearing how it goes over the week!
Lovely!!! Thank you very much!!
Newbie to your videos and I love them! I really enjoy everything about this video...the music is uplifting, the background is very calming, and your smile is so friendly! Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much, Julie! I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment:)
The older I get the more I realize being able to move and exercise is a blessing I am so very grateful for. So I am feeling very blessed and sweaty this morning after completing this workout. Ty Jules for the awesome workout!💕
It's so true. We definitely have to do what we can to be able to keep moving. The more we do, the more we CAN do.
I think these videos were made for me! For years I’ve been looking for something dance based that wasn’t too hard but that meant that I could push my limits. I’m 70 and thoroughly enjoying trying them all! This series I’m hoping will help me to lose a little weight (as long as I don’t treat myself to something sweet and gooey as a reward!).
Thank you so much!
I am super happy to read that these videos work well for you, Annie. Yay to that! I think with consistency you will see quite a change in your fitness level after a few weeks. Kudos to you for taking such good care of yourself at 70! As for the sweet stuff, I hear you...that is a challenge for most of us. I've tried to train my brain to think the sweet stuff isn't a reward...because in reality, it's actually quite the opposite (does more harm to our body than good). It works sometimes...but other times I still want the sweet stuff!
Loved this! Looking forward to the next four weeks going through the series. As usual, you make everything fun and encouraging.
Thank you, Wendy. That means a lot.❤️
Thank you Jules. You are a part of the reason I have kept my 2023 resolution to get physically fit. Feeling stronger and lighter, with everyday. God bless.
Thank you SO much for sharing that with me, Chris. I love that you're feeling stronger and more fit.
I love the warm up, I tend to wake up a little stiff and it works it right out of me, I'm on day one of the third week and am feeling the difference from when I first started. Thank you Jules!
It is amazing how quickly we progress when we exercise consistently...I'm so glad you are noticing the positive results!
Just did this workout. Really enjoyed it. Appreciate you doing these and everything you took the time to put in the description.
Thank you so much for your comment, Regina. I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed the workout (I had fun creating it!).
After experiencing so many of your workouts, I have finally gotten to the place where I want to follow through on an entire program. That began today. Thank you, as usual, for these marvelous routines, pitched just right, bringing sweat and joy and an upbeat feel to the morning.
What a lovely comment...thanks Norm!
This was a great workout, and a wonderful program you are offering. Some years ago at the age of 52 I ran a marathon by following a training program; the most I had run prior to that was 10K. What I like about programs like yours (and my marathon training program) is the incorporation of easy days and rest days. That gives me permission to take it easy instead of feeling guilty about it, and it's necessary for the body to recover and recuperate. So THANK YOU for your generosity in creating and posting these videos! It is just what I need, coming out of the pandemic restrictions.
Thank you so much, Kathleen. Reading your message I remembered I also used this program when I trained for a 10 km run and it definitely improved my speed. I personally love this program since it has variety and yes, gives permission for rest days, too. You are so right about needing the rest days to recover. I hope you enjoy the rest of the program this week!
Loved this one, thank you Jules🤗🤗🤗!! Definitely I was going at my own pace, but I loved it😍! I also had to take a couple of breaks, but got it done😊👍🏼!! This one is definitely a fave and I will stick to this one for a few days or weeks until I am able to complete it and move on. Thank you Jules and have a great day 🤗!
Perfect:) Thanks so much Laura and wishing you a great day as well.
I'm "glowing" because I just finished this workout.
Jules, I want to thank you for being so encouraging during the workout with your smiles and thumbs ups.
It really helps!😊
Thanks so much for your feedback, Grace. It's always helpful for me to know what viewers enjoy. Thank you for sharing that.
Another great workout. Thank you Jules. I'm so enjoying your channel. I mix my workouts up throughout the week. I think that cardio is my favorite! Enjoy your Sunday. ❤❤
Hi Rene! It always puts a smile on my face when I know viewers are enjoying the workouts:) Thanks so much for taking the time to comment to let me know.
Wow! What a workout! I needed to push myself a little, and this one really did that for me. Thanks!!
Yes, this is a step up from the others...happy to read you enjoyed it (and congrats on pushing yourself)!
I find these workouts similar to what I did at Curves eons ago, work hard, cool down, repeat. I really like the countdown on the left. Knowing there is only a second or two left lets me encourage myself to do just one more, just one more. The total time on the right shows me that I'm almost done. I can do it! The way you point to what muscles should be working and turning to show more of what it looks like is great. Most of all I really appreciate that at times your face is flushed like mine! Thank you so much for these encouraging upbeat videos to do what you can, just do it.
Thanks for your awesome and helpful feedback, Sue. I really appreciate knowing what is enjoyed during a workout video. Thank you!!!
Wishing you a great day,thank you❤
I did a brisk 15 minute walk this morning and now this one, trying to increase my overall stamina. I had no problem with the intervals - in fact I really enjoyed them! I am SO happy to exercise again, even when I disappoint myself. Thanks so much Jules!
So glad to read that you got out of the house AND did this workout. ❤️
I love all your videos. I can't believe I'm saying this but I look forward to working out with you. I wasn't sure I could do this one but this 70 year old stroke survivor (4 years ago) did the entire workout. Yay me!!! Thank you for all your videos.
Lol, yay you!!! I love it. I am so happy to hear you look forward to the workouts. It makes the work for me worth it all when I receive comments like yours. Thank you!
Hi Jules, this is one I keep going back to because I like the music, the pace and even the fast jogging! I'm going to do my strength training later in the day to see if that works better for me. Thanks for your good and caring energy
That's a great idea about breaking up the workouts to see if that works better for you. I'm glad you like this workout and the music...intervals are great for seeing improvements in overall fitness.
Back for week 3. So excited to complete another week of this program!
Thank you so much for letting me know that. ❤️
I'm so glad I came across your videos! I was born with a collagen disorder that affects all my joints, and had to have a bunch of surgery as a child to just be able to walk normally. As I approached my 60s, the weight started piling on and workouts became almost impossible. A month before I turned 61 I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, was now clinically obese, and got out of breath with minimal exertion. All that was the wake up call I needed! I started water aerobics first, 2x a week, but that wasn't enough. I was looking for more things I could do from home. Your videos are just what I need! I've noticed a big difference already, and that's with only doing them a couple times a week, for a month or so. I just finished this workout, and even though I can't lift my knees as high as you, I did it!! The weight is slowly coming off, and I feel so much better!! Thanks again, I've sorted through workout videos from many sources here on CZcams, and yours are by far the best. And fun too!
Thank you, thank you, thank YOU, Laurie! I truly appreciate your comment and I am SO happy to read the workouts are doable for you and you are seeing results. Please never worry about not being able to lift your knees high enough or whether you are going fast enough...this is YOUR workout and I always want my viewers to do what they can and to leave the workout feeling empowered because they did what they could. It sounds like you are very motivated and I am thrilled you are starting to feel better. It's amazing what exercise can do, with not only our physical health, but our mental health, too. 💗
Love workout, Thank you
Thank you! Great workout! Looking forward to the rest in this series!
Thank you! Just so you know, there is no day 4 is this first series. It is designed to be a rest day (you can do a light workout...20 or 30 minutes...if you want) but otherwise, just take the time to recover.
Felt so good, after such a while...can actually feel the difference in me over the year...thank you so much, Jules. Have a lovely day🖤
That's great news and put a big smile on my face as I read about the difference you feel.
@@ImprovedHealth all thanks to you...
I just finished 4 weeks of Level 1 today. Whoo Hooo!! Moving on to Level 2 tomorrow. At first I didn't see results in my shape other than feeling better in general. Probably because I have a way to go on this journey, BUT this past week I did start to notice a change in my physical appearance. Can't wait to see what happens at the end of these next 4 weeks & the 4 weeks at Level 3! Thanks so much for inspiring me to do this by selecting exercises that work for Seniors or people with physical ailments. 🤩💪🏃♀️
I'm so glad to read that you're persevering and giving the program more time. Changes are usually gradual, but they'll keep happening. It takes time for our bodies to catch up to what we're doing with workouts.😉When you're done with these series, I'm going to suggest adding strength programs in 2-3 times a week, which will have you seeing even more changes. Actually, if you have time and feel up to it, you could add on the 10 minute strength program I created recently and do it every 2nd day while you're doing these series.
@@ImprovedHealth Thanks for the encouragement & suggestion. I will try that workout. During Weeks 3 & 4 of Level 1, I added 2.5 lbs hand weights for the extra challenge & had intended to not use weights for Weeks 1 & 2 of Level 2 until I adjust to the more advanced Level. However, I will add this workout in instead then determine if I want to add the weights back in for Weeks 3 & 4. I'm just about to start the 1st workout of Level 2. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have curated for us! 🤩
@@bethhasilo1536 Adding in the hand weights is a great way to make the workout a lot more challenging!
I have been using your podcasts for a while now. However, I seem to have missed this one. This is PERFECT for what I wanted. It was about 30 minutes in length, it had HIIT/.interval routines and covered all aspects of the body. This will be my new go to program for my morning exercise.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I actually created 4 series of interval training workouts (what seems like ages ago). For each series, day 1 & 3 are interval training days. If you look under the intermediate playlists, you'll find each series there (plus another playlist that has all 4 series together). Each series gets a little bit more challenging but you've started with the first one so that's perfect:)
Love your videos! On my second week. Easy to follow…love the count down…..love the music! Thank you!!
Yay! Thank you, Lori! Congrats on starting week 2! As the weeks go by, I am looking forward to hearing the progress you and others will see.
Yet another fabulous workout. Thank you, Jules. My husband was walking by while I was doing this. He sometimes comments on my videos. He looked at you, and said, "Oh. She looks like a nice person." I laughed and said that he's spot on, and that you ARE nice.
Aw, that is super meaningful! I love that. Thank you for sharing that with me. 🥰
I had just committed that I wish you would post different programs to do after each week and you did that in this one... so great!!! Thank you for such great programs!
I'm glad you're enjoying the workouts:)
Boy what a great workout. Really felt it especially in my legs. They kinda feel like jello right now. I finished it and going at my own pace. Just the fact of moving is awesome. I want to stay on my feet and able to take care of myself and am able to do just that because of workouts like these. Thanks so very much Jules.
I always enjoy your comments, Ann. Thank you for taking the time to write them. A huge kudos to you for doing this one and I am so glad to read that you went at the pace that felt right for you. Interval workouts are an awesome way to get great results with improved fitness. Wishing you a great day:)
Great and heart pounding low and high impact aerobics. Thank you!!!
It's definitely a good heart pounding workout if you push yourself through the fast intervals:) I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Whoa!😳 Yay! 😃That was just the right amount of fast feet intervals. 🙌🤩thank you!
Congrats for completing it!
Afternoon Jules just done this great work out really enjoyed it thank you 💞👍 xx
Thank you. Thank you for this nice workout. I spontaneously decided to do it this evening and really enjoyed the 30 minutes. I like your style. You are so wonderfully natural and authentic. Keep it up. 👍
Aww, thank you so much. Your comment is super meaningful to me. ❤️
Thank you for your great workout programs I'm doing them all and enjoying them very much. Thanks 😊👍
Thanks Miki!
Took yesterday a day off, today week 2 day one done, yay i really love your program , thank you for that :)
Glad to hear you are enjoying the program:). Thanks for the comment to let me know!
Been doing your workouts for the last 2 months. Think I need more structure so going to start this programme along with the strength training ones. Love how I can work at my own pace.
I'm happy to hear you're starting this program. I look forward to hearing how you find the workouts as you get through them.
That was sweaty and great! Thanks Jules!🥰
Thank you!
Always a good workout.
Great workout! Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Jan!
I did it and kept exactly to your steps for the fast sections. And I am proud! I don't know how much weight I lost but I certainly lost sweat. Sometimes I was concentrating on your feet movements and my arms did not always synchronise. The overall pattern is excellent and I am determined to stick with it as you suggest. Because of Thailand temperatures, I needed the fan! (I started with Mama Mia a long time ago and followed several of your programs before hitting the jackpot!)
That's AMAZING Bryan! Congratulations! This is a much more challenging workout than some of the others but it can also be catered to each person's fitness level which is the thing I love about intervals. Oh, to be in Thailand! Lucky, lucky you! I backpacked in Thailand about 25 years ago. I have so many fond memories and can't wait to go back one day. I look forward to hearing how it goes as you continue the series.
Love this. Can’t wait for day 2 😃🥰
Thank you, Lianne. Just a fyi, day 2 is a talking video so if you prefer the no talking videos, you can do day 6 or 7 instead. All of the videos are under the playlists so you can find them easily. Btw, there is no day 4...it is designed to be a rest day:)
LOVED THIS WORK OUT!!
Thanks Valerie! Did you do the Abba workout and this one today? If so, congrats on pushing yourself after your long day at work!
You have been a blessing to my workout regimen. I have lost inches, although gained some weight, it’s been muscle weight. I can see results after the first week. I have been lifting weights and strength training to no good end. I will follow this program all the way through. Best part is, when I travel I can still do with workouts through the phone app as well!! Thank you!!
Hi Kim! Thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I am thrilled to hear you are seeing results already...it doesn't take long with interval training! Glad to hear you are lifting weights as well since that will make a huge difference, too.
Thanks for sharing your progress here Kim. It's going to motivate me to be consistent (I am a very lazy woman)😒
Great workout ! Thank you ! God bless you
Thanks so much, Jeanne!
Hi there, I have done this 1st series for 6 weeks and wow what a difference it has made. I have lost 2 inches off my waist and with dieting as well as these exercises I am now 2 stone down. I love your workouts as I feel you are in the room with me, encouraging me along. I noticed you have done a resistance band video (standing not seated) and wondered if you plan to do more as I don't have weights and want to strengthen my upper body. Thank you so much you are amazing.
Wow! Congratulations on your dedication to exercise and healthy eating and your accomplishment of losing 2 stone! That's amazing! I am so glad you have enjoyed this series. Since you have done it for 6 weeks, you can move onto the next series now if you feel ready. The change will be good for you at this point, too. I don't currently have a plan to do another resistance band workout but you could incorporate that workout into your current routine. You can skip the intro and just do that no-talking version which wouldn't add too much extra time onto your other routines. Another no-weight suggestion would be to add in push-ups (either regular push-ups or adapted on your knees) and add in squats. The push-ups challenge your entire upper body and squats are great for an overall leg workout. You could add those two exercises onto the end of your workout every 2nd day and you will see a lot of change over time. Just start easy...don't do too much because you will be too sore! I hope that helps.
Started this again today. Time to get rid of lockdown weight gain and start 2022 healthier and fitter. Hope you had a lovely Christmas
A great time to get back to this program...it's definitely a good kick-starter to getting fit and healthy. 💓
2nd time on Day 1 and still sweaty! Thanks Jules
Glad to read that you got sweaty!
Back again. Words of the last song "You will get up again, stronger than you've ever been" stick in my head. Thank you.
Yesterday I walked with a German Conversation friend (as we do on a weekly basis); I have another group that I walk with but not as regularly or as far - still its always more than an hour. Yesterday we did 5+ miles up and down almost 300 meters. Hard work, but the beauty is worth it; AND easier than when I began these workouts. Thank you for these videos. I keep wanting to jump ahead; I hold myself to build that basic strength and endurance.
I agree...love that part of the song for those words which I felt worked well for the workout. I'm happy to read that you are noticing a difference in your fitness level. It's such a great feeling when we realize how much stronger we are getting. 💪
Another fun session!
As always great music,, great workout and great fun. Thank you so much
Thanks Ann! I had fun creating it!
I've been exercising with you for past week - I love it so much ❤ thank you 😍
Oh yay! Thank you for letting me know:) Welcome to my channel!. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.
Nicely done! Thank you for helping me to keep moving❤️
I am happy to keep you moving!
I love this workout! Thank you. Its a big help for me.
Thank you!
Just finished this will do another 15 minute session and then my daily walk and I’ll get rid of 800+ calories enjoyed it thanks yet again😄
Wow! That’s a lot! Kudos to you for being such an avid walker!

Really a workout! Looking forward to the rest in the series.
I was sweating buckets, too:). I love this program for the results it gives. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Wow! That's impressive! I'm happy to hear the workouts work well for you and to hear you are modifying them to suit your fitness level. I look forward to hearing your progress over the 4 weeks.

My pleasure! Thanks for joining me!
Into week 2 now, day 3 and I'm feeling great about myself. Thank you so much.😄
Ah, LOVE your comment!
Loved doing this today! thank you so much :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it:)
Okay, I'm starting my first series and I've done this one before but not in a series. I'm excited to do it and I really like this video and hope to do well through the series. Thanks Jules, for creating these.
It's best to follow these workouts as a series since each day is created specifically to follow the day before. You can add on a strength or cardio workout on the 20 minute workout days if you wish but otherwise try to stick with the program. 💗
I am very proud of myself for sticking to it. Great workout. Thank you.
I'm so glad to read that you're proud for doing it...you totally deserve to be!
Yayy, done my first week . .really enjoyed it . .i intend to carry on . . Thank you
Congrats for finishing week 1!
Day 1 complete. Not dieting just keeping fit which your videos. Movement is key. N thank you 😊😊😊
Congrats on completing day 1!
Love your exercises they are simple. Pls do a 30 minutes work out, combination of 5 minutes warm up, 10 minutes cardio, 10 minutes pilates bar or strength training then 5 minutes warm up. And also a 1 hr.
Hi! Thanks for your suggestions. I had something similar in mind for future videos. Coming soon!
Fabulous..the best I have done yet!
Thank you, Laurie!
Hi Jules🤗! Just wanted to say hi! Hope you have a great day ☺️. Still with you every day and getting stronger 👍🏼. Can't wait to get the ok from my doctor to do other workouts I've been eyeing in your channel 😃.
Thanks so much, Laura! I am happy to read you are getting stronger from the workouts:) Wishing you a great day as well:)
Day 25!!! 🥵😁👍🏻
I would have given up by now following any other keep fit videos! Thank you for keeping me on track! 😊
Oh my gosh, I am SO stoked that you are still here and working out regularly. On days when you want to give up, think about your future body and how it depends on you taking care of it now. One day at a time. Just keep coming back every day and you’re going to continue to see improvements in fitness, strength, balance, flexibility, confidence and mood. It really is worth it.
Love love love that you remind us to do what we can, not what we can't. Thank you. (Yesterday was Day 1 but somehow my comment got interrupted and disappeared. Had to return to thank you!)
Thank you for coming back to comment again:)
I did this workout today. I was concerned about losing our power because we were forecast for thundsrstorms. Anyway, I'm excited I did it to the end. I couldn't do the jog fast so I just marched in place quickly each time. My foster cat wanted to join me and he kept getting in the way.😻
I love that you went at your own pace…that is exactly what I want viewers to do. This workout is designed to work for lots of different fitness levels.
I'm on day 1 for the second week of this series and I think it's becoming a part of my brain - I woke up singing "I Will Get Up Again" this morning! But this is such a good workout, Thanks so much Jules.
Lol, the music kind of gets stuck in our brains...hopefully you like the music! 😊
@@ImprovedHealth I actually like the music a lot. It's such good exercise music!
Hi and thanks for an awesome way to start the day. Loved working out with you today. Love the cherry blossom backdrop. Have a great day Rosie
Thank you so much, Rosie. 💗
Loved this just the right level for me 5 weeks after full hip replacement. Had to find something suitable as we have deep snow outside so can't go walking. Thank you.
Snow already?!? Wow. I'm amazed you can do this workout so soon after a full hip replacement...wow again! You are definitely motivated. Impressive Heather!
Thank you dear
Love the workout thank you thank you ❤
Thanks so much for taking time to let me know, Rosa!
