Supercharged Subaru EZ30 Sounds

- The supercharged gen4 h6 is no longer with us! Here's some clips of the exhaust note filmed before the partout.
The setup originally made 237.8kw at the wheels @8psi on 98 Octane when it was in my sedan with a refreshed engine. Unfortunately the wagon which I purchased with 287,000km was starting to show its age mechanically. The untouched stock engine didn't take well to the boost, and at the first service at 290,000km the engine was showing signs of a blown headgasket.

The H6 and Porsche flat 6 are the closest sound to a V12 out of a 6cyl. Just like UEL on a 4cyl (subie rumble) the offset placement of the H configuration naturally gives this engine a UEL. So therefore it produces a baby V12 sound effect. Almost like how the 4cyl UEL that makes the subie rumble is trying to replicate an crossplane V8. Crazy how pipes and configurations can alter sound. 😂

Sounds like a cross between a 911 and a Ferrari 😂 it’s insane sounds like some supercar is going to show up and then a subaru wagon comes around the corner
