161-John Deere 50D Mini Excavator repair project (part 6; FINALLY DONE!)

My mini excavator repairs are finally complete. It's been a long road and much more work than I originally planned for, but it feels fantastic to finally be done. The mini-X now looks so much better with every bit of rust gone and new paint adding years of life to this machine. And with all the mechanical problems addressed, it's ready to get back to work.

Thanks! Now I feel like I need a giant car port at Bear Ridge to store this, the dump truck and trailer under so that they don't just fade and start rusting again in a few years. Always something to do. The day I run out of projects will be the day I'm 6ft under..

Thanks so much. It was a lot of work, but even I'm surprised how well it turned out. It definitely would have cost 5K more if it looked like this when I bought it. I saw the potential, put in the hard work, and am very happy with the results.
