Scott in an interview did say that he watched theory videos on fnaf and said that he thought the theories they had were better so changed to story up a bit in the games

Little detail I noticed at 6:58, Burntrap has 5 fingers but at 4:50 Monty has 4 fingers, the only other animatronics that have 5 clawed fingers are the Nightmare animatronics.
Also to mention, Cassidy being in the game makes it make more sense of how Gregory knew to play it, because if he truly is evan then he was connected with Cassidy for a while, so he may have felt her in the game

I’ve always thought that the use of Jeremy in fnaf 2 wasn’t a coincidence. Mike Afton uses the name “Jeremy FitzJarled”, Mike was friends with the missing children (I’m pretty sure, if not he at least knew them) so when he needed a fake name he combined two of his old friends’s names, Jeremy and Fitz.
With a Foxy and Bonnie plush even Bonnie's body in the ruin dlc that confirms theres more than 4 animatronics in the main band

One thing that's still strange to me is how NO ONE has looked into or mentioned the stage in Rockstar Row by the first Freddy door, across from the room where you get the photo pass to release Freddy. There's a very obvious button right in front of it that isn't something you can interact with and no one EVER mentions it.

I feel the same way about the Bunny blueprints that are scattered throughout the pizzaplex. I can't help but think they go with today's theory, but no one ever seems to notice them. They were probably the blueprints that Glitchtrap (inside Vanny) made to rebuild his (Afton's) real body.
Wait...if they can replace Freddy as easily as slapping his casing on a new endoskeleton, why isnt the same true for Bonnie?? Surely even if they dont know what happened to him (which might imply they havent found his body yet) it seems odd that theres apparently some part of the animatronics thats irreplacable to the point of scrapping Monty's original show and rebranding anything with Bonnie on it in order to fill in the gap in the main band just because one animatronic has vanished 😅
Sadly glam rock Bonnie was not burn traps body as you see in the ruin DLC but it’s still a very cool theory
Once the series all actually wraps up whenever, I so hope MatPat does a big full go through of the entire timeline in order with his usual quality

These videos are the only reason i know more fnaf lore than my uncle and brother, who have been fans since the books came out.

Interesting that this wasn't mentioned on the first theory, but Burntrap's hands have five fingers while most animatronics have four. Who has five fingers? Bonnie. (Also, the endo-skeletons that you find around the building also have four fingers)

MatPat missed an important detail about Glitchtrap and the door: During the VR game, the lock is on the right side. In Princess Quest, it's on the left side. That means, _you are on the other side of the door_ in PQ. Basically, in the VR game, the door has Vanessa locked in that room, and in PQ, you open that door and let her out (which is why she's OK after you finish the 3 Princess Quest games, you let her out of Glitchtrap's prison). That scream is probably Glitchtrap's scream of frustration as Vanessa escapes.

I saw a theory a while back about Bonnie's absence that I can't stop thinking about. The person theorized that Monty didn't destroy Bonnie because he wandered into Gator Golf, but that Bonnie *purposely* went looking for Monty and destroyed him, thus getting *himself* decommissioned. Think about it, Bonnie is one of the most aggressive animatronics in the FNAF series, I believe he was the first one to come looking for you in FNAF 1, he has a pattern of being aggressive. I also think that if Monty destroyed Bonnie he would've been the one that got scrapped and Bonnie would still be around, but because *Bonnie* was the one to go and destroy Monty, he was the one that was done away with.
I don't know, that theory makes more sense to me personally because I can't see any other reason why Bonnie would be scrapped, he's too popular. If he was destroyed, they could just put him back together again, right? But if he was the aggressor in that scenario...maybe not so much. Maybe he needed to be scrapped to prevent future incidents.
Plus it's also a bit humorous when you think about it, because if Bonnie *was* the one to destroy Monty and get himself decommissioned, from that point on Monty decided he was going to be the aggressor, couldn't let anyone know that Bonnie got the drop on him.
But hey, that's just a theory.....

@@grassy4041 If Gregory is "Gregory Afton the Crying Child" we can put together that he's probably not that great of a person, His father was a psycho and his brother was a sadistic manipulative Bully and throughout the game Gregory is manipulative, smart and willing to smash all the animatronics for the selfish reason of wanting a family. He is in direct competition with Vanny and showed that he's deadly enough and smart enough to decimate a killer and all the other animatronics as well. He successfully beats the killer by being smarter and ends the story with a family. He definitely wasn't just a crying child. He could very well be more of a psychopath than both William and Michael Afton combined. He shows how skilled he is when he installs all of the new parts on Freddy and manages to recover the parts off the broken bodies of all the animatronics in the first place. At the beginning Freddy tries to connect to the main network and Gregory quickly blame it on Vanessa when really it was him that did cut Freddy off. Ever wonder how there was enough space for Gregory inside of Freddy despite Freddy saying it was only meant for cakes and Piñata's? Yeah Gregory adjusted it. So it was definitely Gregory that manipulated Bonnie somehow. Perhaps his original goal was to take Bonnie instead of Freddy since Bonnie had claws but something went wrong. Vanny stopped him by doing something with Monty and that's why he's so aggressive towards the security guard.

Regarding Glamrock Bonnie, technology has advanced far enough to give animatronics sentience and personality, but Freddy clearly states in SB that it's not possible for any of the animatronics to harm anyone or anything, as it goes against their programming.
Because Bonnie's parts were needed to revive Afton, Bonnie became the unfortunate test subject of the glitchtrap virus. He was manipulated into going to (and getting scrapped in) Monty Golf because Afton needed a scapegoat, something to throw everyone off his scent. With the test successful, Afton gave Vanny the go-ahead to gradually unleash the virus system-wide.
As for Cassidy being the princess, that makes way more sense than Vanessa being the princess. However, I do not believe the so-called Princess Quest ending is the true ending to the game and it's only there as a form of symbolism.

Did you know in one of the Fnaf AR emails, the Pizzaplex warehouse crew gets a mysterious box of parts, and when they install them the animatronics start scaring the crew workers by walking around without being told and staring at them. They stop showing up for their shifts when one worker says "the rabbit one" ate the pet cat that lived in the warehouse.
Soon after this event, the devs are locked out of the ability to give the animatronics orders. This probably coincides with the virus spreading throughout the pizzaplex.

The best way to write a mystery series in my opinion is to go into it with clear points you want to get across and leave the rest vague for the readers to figure out for you.
Then you can tailor the next part of the mystery to fix any issues that came from this approach, and if a fan theory was more interesting than what was originally planned you can always incorporate it into the mystery.

I love that Matpat is basically admitting that the Princess quest ending should be the canon one and not the lame Afton ending which mitigates the events of the previous games; conceding that Afton really needs to stop coming back, or at least his physical form.
I kinda like Mr. Afton from Circus Baby pizza World fangame. The design is pretty cool, would love to see that variation of William here.
