    Very adventurous music! It would be great soundtrack for a fantasy game...
    But, I'm wondering, do you have piano reduction so you can play it whenever you like on piano?
    By the way, have you ever composed for organ?
    Organ can be very symphonic instrument by itself: some composers (me included) have made symphonies for solo organ. My opinion is, that unfortunately, there are to few organ symphonies out there. Maybe you could one day made an organ symphony and enrich organ repertoire. With this adventurous style it would be great!
    Good luck and keep composing.

    @AKoribut Před 7 lety +1

    Great Job. Superb orchestration
    It catches my ear almost immediately, but the form is the form is so loose that it is pretty hard to follow. I've listened at least 10 times to understand how parts are connected. I don't know if this was your original intention)
    Nevertheless nice channel. Where is this "Subscribe" button?)

    • @TobiWobi7
      @TobiWobi7  Před 7 lety

      AKoribut I thought about a Short Movie while Composing the Piece... Gentle beginning, intruducing the Adventure, Charakter Walks through the woods (or something), climax (action/danger), Resolution (Calming, danger is over, Charakter grew on this Adventure and goes "home" if You Want to, for another happy Ending ...

    • @AKoribut
      @AKoribut Před 7 lety

      I mean a bit different thing. Sequence you wrote was kinda obvious, your music already did this without words)
      You introduce new themes, interchange them, make them reappear in different disguises... I compose myself and believe me I understand what job you've done) But (in my opinion) you are going way too fast with these things. After several listenings, for example, I realize that the motive that appears closer to the end is this cool dancing tune which was stated earlier. But from the first listening it sounded like something comletely new.
      But propably I just haven't woken up properly)

    • @TobiWobi7
      @TobiWobi7  Před 7 lety

      haha :D yes, you are correct, I didn't work with musical themes very much at this one! If the peace was longer I would work with the themes and modulate them more :) I am currently working on a new piece so stay tuned :)

    • @TobiWobi7
      @TobiWobi7  Před 7 lety

      I just noticed that there is in fact a small theme which appears through out the entire piece...almost! Listen to 0:51, the violins! And the part that is played by the viola before before the new part beginns is later played by flutes in the end! hehe

    • @AKoribut
      @AKoribut Před 7 lety

      I haven't missed that, if you are talking about this (B A E) little motive. But since it wasn't developed and almost instantly substituted with another one, as I already mentioned it didn't sound familiar being repeated closer to the end during the first listening (at least to me).
      Please don't take my complaining seriously) I am just an amateur composer and I really like this piece. Such music is rare on youtube, keep on rocking)

  • @paulorego9334
    @paulorego9334 Před 6 lety

    Tobias this is a really fun piece! Do you have the entire piece scored before you sequence it all into the DAW or do you write directly into the DAW and discover new ideas/directions as you go along? Nice one!

    • @TobiWobi7
      @TobiWobi7  Před 6 lety +1

      it depends! some pieces i have written are entirely composed on my piano and later orchestrated in cubase, but this one was indeed very much improvised which explains the lack of continuity ;)

      Tobias Scheel It has 16GB Ram and it is pretty smooth. I haven't tried it with a full orchestra yet. I've done string quartet mixed with other instruments and it's nice. It takes a while to get used to so many instruments and options, almost over whelming.
