- I can't begin to explain how much better this new exhaust sounds over the side exit exhaust. It was a lot of work to redo the headers and tuck the pipes under the frame, but it was completely worth it. The new exhaust sounds brutal but in a good way.

Definitely relate to this. Ran a shop for years and ran into this a lot....Preach it, it's the truth. Loving the 400. Built a few of them and they're one of my favorites.
That caller is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Keep your eyes peeled. Doesn't pass the smell test. On another note, the note that exhaust makes when you stab it...really nice, and thanks again for saving me 100 hours of horse manure in the making of this exhaust series. Enjoy.
Definitely would have questioned if his just showing up at my home as well!! Especially if he couldn't name who sent him or it was someone I didn't know that well!! To me it just doesn't sound right, why go to a complete strangers home for help with something as simple a kid could do?? I mean does he not have a single friend that would help him with such a small job?? If he doesn't there's probably a very good reason for that!! I would definitely be asking many many questions and not in a friendly manner!! You are definitely correct in it seeming out of the ordinary, I mean who does that??

I had to drop two jet sizes on my idle circuit and drilled my butterflies to get my cruise at 14.7.
Main jets are WOT/ above 3000rpm
I opened up my PV restriction and went down on the jets in the front by 6.

I'll be checking out more of your channel . I also have a 1st gen 406 build. I went solid roller with the 4-7 swap last year & just finished the 1-3/4 fenderwell from 1-5/8 in chassis change over. WOW ! I didn't realize how much the old pipes were holding it back. I have and plan on adding the o2 sensors .Tired of pulling plugs. That said, T HANKS for the content. p.s. Ilike the way mine sounds at 7K also.

I built a s10 with the same headers. 1 in wheel spacer worked for me to stop hitting into the headers on full lock

Yea its built to take RPMs that's the beauty of a 400. 3.75 stroke and a 4.125 piston = RPM. Your LS will take a 200 no problem once you get the 60 working its going to run bottom 10s. Keep at it brother💪
That S-10 sounds Sick! Great Job all around! Just to touch on that guy who knocked on your door: I personally won't work on anyone else's vehicle who I DO NOT KNOW! Anything that happens after you touch their vehicle will come back to haunt you! Especially doing anything to the braking system. They will sue you for everything you own if the brakes failed after you touched them... Bleeding the brakes is a simple job, however, unless you take a good hard look at the entire system there could be an under-lying problem that could make them fail in the future; and guess who's gonna come knocking on your door if and when that happens? You made the right call on this Brother! Have fun with that Beast...

You can't hide that cam. Those pulls were quick to 7k plus. Track slicks 200 shot gonna be quite a beast. I got neighbors that try that same sh#%.

My dad built many small block street S10 s in 90 to 95 era at his shop in connersville ind.he was good at start to finish weld his own mounts n fab everything .they were like the 55 Bel-Air in his generation he said you could buy nice 88 model S10 for 1000 bucks then n put nice v8 in it for nothing compared to today's price n it run 12s in quartermile

Almost have the same setup on my s10 now whats the front wheels offset and bs numbers. I have some skinnys up front now but they look like they hit the headers way more then yours

Open up the back of your cowl hood, reason is that high pressure build-up at the base of your windshield and your hood!!
With that cowl you can pick up a great deal of cooler air to your Carburetor and even engine temps too.
Same here , grew up dirt poor in a trailer park worked 40 years of 12 hr shiftwork days, nights, weekends and holidays , what I thought were friends screwed the shit out of me , moved to the woods bought some land and a big ass shop with fences and locked gates , dont see nobody dont want to see anybody cross my locked gates and you may get nut shot , shame but cant trust anybody , work on my hotrods by myself in the peace and quiet , your s-10 is nice
It's freaking sweet man I was just looking through jegs myself I was just curious why you bought the headers and adapted it to spread port When you could have got an 8th inch smaller Tube diameter in regular port.. I mean I have brodix heads that are spread port so it would make sense but to adapt To that configuration ??would have given you a little bit more clearance with your steering rod as well..
