- IN THIS EPISODE HooptieDoodle fabricates a battery box out of metal and then sticks it under the bike.
I bought a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100 motorcycle for $600 and am chopping it into a bobber. This is my first motorcycle build and assisting me on this project are my mechanic father and his merry crew of friends. With all this combined wisdom, we should be able to make something worthwhile. I am going to show you a lot of detail in this video build series, so subscribe, like, and hit the notification bell so that you will benefit from all this wisdom!
Thanks for watching the video. I hope it was useful. Below are links to the parts and tools (or types of tools) I used in this video. I do earn money from any purchases made through the Amazon links and that money helps produce the videos on this channel. So if you need to buy something anyways, please, buy it through these links so we can make MORE VIDEOS!!

Great job buddy 👍😉✌
Thank you!
Your welding is improving. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Yeah, kinda worried me then I saw the placement..... Plastic cove maybe ???
Did you consider leather straps to hold it? It would look cool and be more secure. Plus a full enclosed box i belive would be a better desigh to protect agains the dirt and also water getting in to the terminals. Bike is coming along pretty good. Cant wait to see it run
I very well may redo this at some point and make an enclosed box of some kind. I am still waiting for that burst of inspiration 😀
Well done! I was wondering if you were able to figure out how to keep it clean or are you going to see if that would work?
It's still totally exposed! I am still trying to get the bike to simply running and riding. Once that basic vehicle qualification is fulfilled I would like to to revisit and improve this - just haven't yet determined how...
Any ideas? A plastic cover was suggested, which I like the idea of, but an elegant design has yet to hit my brain 💥
I totally agree getting the project done and on the road is goal#1
A bud used an ammo can for his battery box.
That's a good solution 👍
How many cranking amps u got on the battery?
360 cranking amps

You have a problems with a litium Batery? Or you need modificate any part whit the electric sistem with the bike?
Works like any battery, just smaller
