    Baking soda cleans and deodorizes anything you can think of but if you need to add something to it, it's vinegar and stand back. Look out. But when it comes to that grease only the break cleaner and kitty litter will work. A break cleaner or something that doesn't dry too fast that's similar.
    BTW, don't throw out the kitty litter, you can keep it in a can or something and re-use it over and over again.

      Your right about time. Death is perhaps our final enemy. To defeat death, repent of sins and put trust in Jesus death on the cross, His burial, and resurrection. On the cross, He said, It is finished. Meaning the debt has been paid. We sinned, Jesus paid the wage of death for us, that we deserve. Defeat death, trust Jesus. Read John, especially chapter 3. Eternal life is a free gift, we can not earn it. Seek Truth, Jesus is the Truth, and humble yourself before God.

    Try it with the coke only. The acid is the active ingredient in the coke. Baking soda neutralizes the acid. Great experiment 👍

    You need to leave it on for a while like 30 minutes or longer before washing it out because you need the baking soda and soda time to pick up the grease if not definitely try vinegar rather than coke. Vinegar always does the trick for me of removing heavy grease from my pots and pans.

    My husband use our Elseys cat litter to sbsorb all that oil. Leaves it for few hours, removes it. then spray the commercial degreaser leave it for couple hours, pour some hot water, scrub with a hard bristle brush or broom, rinse with hot water. You may need to repeat 2 or 3 times depending on the severity of the stain.

  • @MrSerioLok69
    @MrSerioLok69 Před 3 lety +2

    It’s a simple solutions.
    Just try degreaser and Ariel clothing powder soap , brush deep clockwise several times
    let it sit for 5 to 10 min and rinse with water.
    It’s a plus if it’s hot water or cold with a pressure washer. If it’s deep oil stains , continue the process again till it’s clear.
    Home Depot has all these products.
    Also has a concrete oil stain removal.

    • @ApprenticeGM
      @ApprenticeGM Před 2 lety +3

      "brush deep clockwise several times" - yeah because brushing anti-clockwise, or a mix of both, or back-and-forth, doesn't work lol?

  • @menguardingtheirownwallets1767

    Not sure if Goop or another hand soap commonly used by mechanics' soap will spray off all stains after scrubbing, may need to let Goop sit for 5 minutes before scrubbing. It's about $5 for this product at almost any automotive store. This would be a quick fix but there may be cheaper solutions.
    A pressure washer will save you money in the long run if you are expecting to have more stains.

    You need industrial grade cleaning agent and or degreaser to penetrate, break down, lift and remove the oil residue that sticks to whatever it comes in contact with. Oil is meant to lubricate so therefore it will hold onto its surroundings. The concrete is porous therefore it will attract and hold dirt and liquids. You must use industrial grade stuff like concrete cleaners and degreasers.

    The chemical reaction between baking soda and coke should create carbon dioxide, salt and some heat. This means you better off using only baking soda (an alkaloid) to try to clean the stain. Alternatively, TSP is a great product or scrubbing bubbles. If your driveway hasn't been sealed before, a strong acid (such as boric acid) will do the trick.

    When I've seen it done before, the baking soda was spread all over the driveway stain, then the Coca cola was poured on it to let it bubble it out pores of the driveway concrete. And it did get out the oil stain.

    LA degreaser from the dollar store. Spray let sit an hour wet and scrub with water.
