Dude I mean, come on - the Mystery Machine was already more than enough, but you just saved me so much time and $$$ - thanks brother, this was completely badass, appreciate it!
I love seeing your Ford van! I had one in the late 60's and loved the "3 on the tree" manual transmission! I miss the driver position and working that shifter! Thank you for the cleaning tip.
I still have 3 vehicles with 3 speeds on the column. My Van, my 1956 F100 has a 3 speed overdrive and NY 1966 F100 has a 3 speed, soon to have a 3 speed overdrive too. My wife likes the trucks as they gave a bench seat and a flatter floor and she can sit in the center beside me, you can't do that in any other rig.
Seriously. I was like, "Man, I don't have one TENTH his skill. There's always that little remnant that just keeps eluding the shovel till you just don't care anymore."
AWESOME!!!!!!! Never though to use carb cleaner and the kitty litter is a great way instead of washing this chemical down the driveway with the hose and risking burning the grass and polluting. Many thanks. Never thought I would get excited about cleaning the garage floor.
Awesome Glenn!!! I just tried it after spending half an hour looking at other "solutions". It is FRIGGEN' AWESOME!!! Total cost was less than $3.00 and it took less than 2 minutes from start to finish!!! Now I have 3 clean white spots in my garage that are cleaner than the rest of the garage, lol. Thanks again...
OK, it must be said almost every other video for this issue is crap and a waste of time, especially those with supposed solutions with "guaranteed" results, thank you, very clear before, how-to and after. Much appreciated.
Shit will happen soo many times. I just did my 20th + oil change and accidentally knocked off the funnel and the bug jug of old oil tipped over. Huge mess. Even trying to clean rhis mess up for 2 days with different techniques. I've heard ofnusing brake cleaner and cat litter but never tried it. Guess I'll give it a go
Used kitty litter in the Army but never knew about the carb cleaner. Just moved into an old house that has stains in the garage. Doing this very soon. Thank you!
It works good for standing oil, maybe workes a little for stains the only way to get oil out deep into the concrete will he heat, steam, and detergent. . Good Luck Glenn
I am looking for an easy and fast options to clean/prep my garage floor to apply Rust-Oleum Rocksolid. Do you recommend me to do this as etching? Or would be a wrong idea?
Does it matter if the brake clean is fast drying? I have some orillys brake parts cleaner non chlorinated ultra low Voc. I used it and I can still see the stain clearly and this just happened to me last night.
My oil stain is on my driveway. I am finding that the break cleaner evaporates before I can get the kitty litter on it. Have used 1.5 cans of break cleaner but its long gone when I start scrubbing.
Yes it will work, but not nearly as fast. You will need to use much more spray, then broom it into the stain the cover it with cat litter or fresh sweep and let it absorb the liquid for 10 to 15 min.
Saw this yesterday, tried this morning. Harley's must have a Special Kind of Funk. Yea, the stains lightened up a bit, but with the surrounding concrete cleaning, the stains stand out just the same. So now I'm left with a new toy for night time. A 90% full can of BrakeClean, and a Bic Lighter.
I have not done a video on removing oil stains from concrete. My 80 year old barn would be a challah ge of a lifetime if I were to embark on a journey to remove all the oil stains it has seen for nearly a century. However the surface is safe to walk on as all the oil has been removed. Good luck in your quest to remove oil stains, I would rather start in on another project then spend time trying to keep my shop floor stain free. Cheers
You did a fantastic job, today I have done the same and my garage is so clean now.
Thanks
Do you wash it after?
Gave a like right off the hop for the mystery machine...damn glad I stayed for the result. WOW 🤩
Had to go through a dozen videos before running into urs. By far the best, thanks for the vid.
Terence Kwong
It worked?
@@XxAverageJoexX it did 👍
Thanks for the quick amazing easy clean up!
Unbelivable. Going to buy this today and try it out! Thank You

Totally. I just push shit around the the garage. Lol.

I tried this in my garage and it worked!! Thank you!
You’re a wizard my brother. Thank you!
So glad I found this video, Magic!
Nice the easiest technique. I learned this trick in the Army.
Nothing wrong with a little old school techniques which still work today!
Worked like a charm! Thank you!

Saved to favorites! Gonna try this today :)
Thanks so much. That is pretty awesome!
you sir, are a genius!
Off to the Dollar Store!
Break fluid works really good
Excellent job
Does it also work on asphalt? Agree with all the comments. Great video. Very informative. Love the van.
Looking to do some work on my own car, searched this before i messed up the parking of my house. It isn't the big issue as i thought it would be.
driving that van.. and your voice also kinda sounds like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
AMAZING!!! THANK YOU...
Amazing!!
Thank you!!
Wow great video
Youre a magician! Does this work for transmission fluid stains?
I am looking for an easy and fast options to clean/prep my garage floor to apply Rust-Oleum Rocksolid. Do you recommend me to do this as etching? Or would be a wrong idea?
I’ll try this tomorrow.
Like literal magic!
What kind of producy you used. Does it work for ceramic?
You deserve 10 "virtual" Scooby Snacks for this video! Def. going to try this! Thnx
3:31 that was CLEAN asf !!
Hater here - thank you for cleaning up your mess.
Thank you very much!
Freddy needs to put new gaskets in the Mystery machine!
Thanks great idea
Cat litter is what we use at gastations all the time for spills.
Thank you!! I’m an idiot on all that house fixin & special cleaning stuff.
Thumbs up for the Scooby van!!
Good stuff thank you
I cant believe it's so easy. Running to the store now to get some kitty litter and brake cleaner.
Awesome ! Thx so much
Genius!
All the oil removal vids with single use products and the multitasker of brake clean and cat litter wins… I have both on hand already …😊
Thank you! 😊
What do you do with the sand?
Great tip Middle Age Shaggy!!!!
Good job
Wow best video
Thanks I used the brake cleaner and comet because I didn't have kitty litter and had no reason to buy any.It cleaned up my grease spots easily.
What is in the five gallon bucket?
Does it matter if the brake clean is fast drying? I have some orillys brake parts cleaner non chlorinated ultra low Voc. I used it and I can still see the stain clearly and this just happened to me last night.
Might actually work better
Will this work for Olive oil ?
I like it! Picasso!
My oil stain is on my driveway. I am finding that the break cleaner evaporates before I can get the kitty litter on it. Have used 1.5 cans of break cleaner but its long gone when I start scrubbing.
Same with me, I used an ez-up and did it later in the afternoon. Worked great
Try gum out carburetor cleaner that won't be evaporated as quick as brake cleaner
Great tip thanks.
Scooby Dooby Doo
That's a fantastic tip. Would WD40 be a good enough substitute for the brake cleaner?
No... WD is oil...
WOW! Freddy let himself go! :P
Thx now my driveway has an oilstain + a grey colored stain from the pars cleaner... 😒
Would this work on fat/oil marks on pavers around the bbq?
Pavers, are pores so it may leave the Stain but will get all the surface oil off.
What if i had a rough flooring? You think it will work? Thanks
Yes it will work, but not nearly as fast. You will need to use much more spray, then broom it into the stain the cover it with cat litter or fresh sweep and let it absorb the liquid for 10 to 15 min.
Does dirt work ?
I wouldn't laugh if you were dressed up like Gandalf....that's some magic you just did.

Are you that same Mystery machine that I always see parked on Woodstock n 72ndish??
Not me... Stays in the Barn unless I an DJ'ING a car show or cruise in.
will any litter do or does it have to be a specific type
I get mine at the Dollar store, anything else might even be better than what I use. Good luck.
Glenn
Awesome
Why not wash it after?
Please whats the name of the stuff in the bucket
Cheap cat littler from the dollar store...
Will this work on hydraulic fluid ? Thanks
Yes it will
Thanks, look forward to trying this. Let me guess, you have a great Dane, right?
LOL... no, but I have lots of pictures of them taken with the van. I have a photographer coming with an actress for a photo shoot on monday.
That just looks like fine kitty litter dust covering it. Hose it off and tell us if the stain is gone or not.
I have not done a video on removing oil stains from concrete. Would this work on old oil that's been sitting there?
Did you try it? And did it work?
@@Nuggetams yup!
@@b0bab0ii thanks bro! Have a good night🤝
What spray did he use?
