I cried, for I know how it feels to lose a father. Mine died when I was 13 from ALS. It was so very hard. He was my rock. At 37, I still miss him dearly, but I now don't feel the pain of loss. I wish he could walk me down the aisle, but I think I'll be okay walking myself and imagining he's there next to me. :)
Midnight Sonnet I lost my father to ALS about a year and a half ago, I only got to spend half my life with him as my parents were divorced , and we always used to talk about how I would wear pants at my wedding instead of a dress, and how I would live in a lighthouse because he thought it was cool, and Iâm just so upset that he canât be there to see any of it.
My dad called me just as I was watching this and I think it made this more emotional for me than it was originally.
I wish my dad was there to give my hand away at my wedding next year. How I wish I was able to hug him one last time. That is all I'd ever want â„ïž I love you dada. Forever your sunshine.

I have come across an extremely disturbing case of corruption that involves several different government officials/departments in Linn County, Iowa. They are violating this man's civil rights and the community needs to be aware that this is how your tax dollars are being spent. You are paying for these unprofessional and incompetent city workers' salaries.
You see, there is a young man (age 22) by the name of Casey Van Nevele that is continually being harassed, has been falsely arrested, kidnapped from his home, illegally trespassed from city hall, and repeatedly denied service from his county's district attorney's office (he has been trying to represent himself with all these false charges pro se because he cannot afford to hire an attorney to represent him) and has even won multiple cases against the city of Marion, and Linn County, Iowa all on his own.
Casey's ordeal began a few years ago and continues to this day. His nightmare began with this corrupt city/county simply because he had made a complaint with the city of Marion, Iowa about very poor living conditions in an apartment building that he once lived in and requested an inspection be done on the deplorable conditions of a mansion that has been converted into apartments that he was living in. The building is called "The Henderson House" and is located at 1501 1st Ave, Marion, IA 52302.

Basically, the mansion is a very old building, but it is owned by a corrupt and dishonest man (who owns a building inspection company) and refuses to make any repairs to make the place safe and habitable. Even though Casey no longer lives in the building he is being retaliated against just because he wants to try to help the remaining tenants that still reside in the mansion that is now converted into an apartment building.
He has just recently started videotaping all his interactions with this corrupt county. He has been able to start a CZcams channel so that he can have documentation of all the video proof of the insane happenings going on with him.
