I wrote my future wife a letter when I was 16. It wasn't as poetic, but it was a pledge to save myself for her physically. 10 years later I married and successfully fulfilled my pledge.

Don’t mind the few negative comments you’ve received; I don’t think it’s “gay” to save yourself for marriage, and saving yourself does not equate to being terrible in bed. Sometimes the time apart is the best thing that happens when someone's not sure or if they feel the need to grow. I'm actually in a similar phase (tried dating but hasn't worked out yet and so taking the time to enjoy being alone first and learn to value it since it'll be the freest time you'll have). Take the time you need and trust God but keep growing and cherish your time
There is no such thing . Hollywood movies taught that . Women fall in love with 1/3 money , 1/3 social status , 1/3 looks ( think 50 shades , where even though women knew this pyschopath would literally abuse her , 140 million women still went out and read the book.) Men are attracted to basically looks . But you knew this . The divorce rate is only 60 percent because old people won't divorce. They made commitments young people don't keep. When the old never divorce people die, the divorce rate will go to 80%. And modern women file divorce almost 80% of the time. So knowing this , it is possible you could stay married. If you and him are committed and modern hypergamy doesn't overtake you , or his natural dna either . So knowing this , figure out what a man wants . Not just sex. Men are pretty simple. Good luck.
It's not likely these two fell in love. His friend said he is the most eligible bachelor in Vegas (means he is wealthy ). He likely fell in lust with her because of her physical beauty. None of this is unconditional love. Hopefully he chooses to love her. And it's up to you guys to figure out the rest , and how you think he would feel loved

When I was 14, I didn't write a letter - I prayed, " I prayed that if we can't be together back then, maybe in the future. And if god will allows it can we make it this time" and I think God have answered my prayers. Things just takes time -beautiful things does when I thought God wasn't listening he does and his making it more than what we could have ever imagined. 💕 years had gone fast we're 22 at the present time look how god made our paths cross again I'm beyond thankful. I like him still. I hope this is the right time for us and for each other. ☺️

I don’t know who you are, where you are or what you’re doing. I know that you’re taller than me (I’d hope since I’m only 5ft 1 haha), more handsome than I could ever imagine and you’re my best friend, training partner, lover, my man as well as my teddy bear haha. I remember thinking several times throughout my life thinking ‘I wonder what my future partner is doing right now’ and if you’re reading this letter it’s because that wondering has come to an end and I have met you.
All along I believed I would find you.
I have met you because I love myself so deeply now that being with you is not out of a necessity to be loved by someone else, it’s a want. I want to share all of my love with you. I’ve been waiting my whole life for a divine counterpart like you to open my heart to, with someone that I trust deeply who can handle my emotions with care and look after me.
Meeting you has changed my life.

You’re my best friend. You make me laugh everyday. If anyone compliments my abs it’s because you have me in stitches all the time, not because I do sit ups everyday haha. Every fight I train for, you’re always there for me. You’re there at my training camps, you’re there to emotionally support me, you’re there when I need someone to corner me in a jiu jitsu competition. I don’t even have to ask for you to support me, you were there through thick and thin without hesitation and I wouldn’t be able to be a UFC champion if it wasn’t for you. You believe in me more than I do a lot of the time and that’s what I love about you. When times get tough and I want to give up you push me the extra mile because you know I have it in me. You see the light in me, just as how I see the light in you. We push each other to exponentially grow into the untapped potentials dormant within us.
You’re my inspiration. You’re my soulmate. Your soul ignites a spark within my soul that keeps on expanding and expanding… until infinity. Not a day goes by where I’m bored with you. You light up my world. I’ve learned so much from you… everyday you surprise me.
Before I met you, I was inspired to become a better person each day.
Now that I’ve met you, I’ve realised that you were the missing puzzle piece to help me become a better person each day. You’re my teacher. You’ve taught me how to open up to people and to be more outgoing and trusting of others. You’ve taught me MMA moves and that men can do middle splits :o haha. You’ve taught me patience. How to see in the long run past my immediate impulses. You’ve taught me the value of discipline and hard work and have helped me to put my dreams into action. More importantly, you’ve taught me how to love. That there is love. Unconditional love.
That loving someone doesn’t need a reason.
And you’ve shown me that.
I could find a million reasons to hate you. Like the way you never let me tap you out in jiu jitsu or the way you’re just so stubborn and annoying at times.
But loving someone doesn’t need to have reason. Love isn't a list of pros and cons. It doesn't work like that.
When you feel, you feel.
When you love, you love.
You’ve reminded me to unconditionally love myself despite my flaws, imperfections I have.
So whilst this letter I just wrote explains all of the reasons why I love you, it’s more logical than feelings. You could say it’s more of an expression of love, a letter to explain why you deserve my love and why I chose you.
Because regardless of what you do, who you are, where you’re from I’d still love you.
To the moon and back.

“I’ve never seen my sister laugh like she does when she’s with you.” As a little sister myself, who is a young teen and not anywhere near married, I always hope this is what my two big brothers think of my future husband. I have a letter just like this, I wrote it when I was 9, with my friends. We all put 5 dollars each to bet who would get married first. Everyone voted me.
