Well my stepmom is the absolute fucking best! Never tried to push my mom out of the picture. Always there for me. Something between a mom and a best friend. Even though I don’t call her mom but by her name, I always say I have two mothers. Couldn’t imagine my life without her!
I was 17 my best friend was only 15 when we met . She was pregnant 2 months later . We ran way and got married . Both sides of our family HATED IT SO MUCH ! That will be 32 years ago July 12 , 2019 . I love her just as much today as I did back then . And we are still " Best Friends " I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART .
No worries my friend. His family hated me (still does) and my family hated him (still does). We too ran off and married. Both of our sets of parents had bitter divorces and were sure we'd "come to our senses" before too long. That was almost 33 years ago. Sometimes, making sure they were wrong about us comes in handy (LOL).

August 19 is special to me also. My husband was born on that day. Our son was shot & killed. Had to raise money to put him down so when the cemetery asked what day I wanted to put him down I said August 19 not realizing that was his dads birthday. His sister said it was meant to be that day. Gorgeous wedding, beautiful child. Love forever to u both.
That was the best example of unconditional love. By accepting and loving her daughter as her own. She is so blessed to have this kind of man who has a big heart.
