1,000% agree! This was right before he blew up as a solo artist. My wife and I got see him on a side stage at a festival that was was headlined by Haggard. Haggard died about 6 months later and Chris blew up shortly there after.
This man shows up with a beat-up guitar and a golden voice and just kills it EVERY time. I just don't know who else can do that as good as he can.

I believe he is the story of all of our lives. Loves lost that could never be reclaimed, and the longing for those lost loves. Chris is the GOAT.

There is something incredibly pure about taking a fully produced song with a backing band and distilling it down to its essence. Acoustic guitar, voice mic. That's it. Nothing to hide behind. This is better than the recording.

This will forever be my favorite! Chris wife convinced him to start recording his own music. This is Chris on a radio promotional tour, so simple, just Chris and his guitar at a radio station and its powerful!
His song Broken Halos pierces the soul, tames the heart and snaps you into the present. I prefer his version he did live on Howard Stern a few years ago.

I'm a guitar player in a rock band oh, this guy is amazing. There's no other way to say it the guy is fantastic. The talent but he has singing live is unreal believe me I've done it live and is hard to replicate. You have to get the people walking with you

You have to check out this amazing fun piece hard rock band from Japan called Band Maid. Start out with the original video for the song Thrill. Then Anything live from them afterwards? . Incredible musicians and amazing vocals. You will not be disappointed.
