It’s a tragedy that we didn’t get Schumacher and Senna battles. I remember watching the 1994 as a kid and didn’t see the controversial moments 1994 could of been an absolute classic season.
You’re dead right. 1994 should’ve been a battle for the ages between Schumacher and Senna. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be as I hold them both in as high regard as each other.
Can you imagine how good 1994 couldve been. Possibly the best season of all time. An absolute crying shame we didnt get to see Senna vs Schumacher properly.
That Benetton was insane. He won 6 of the first 7 races. That car had a better performance than the Ferrari F2001 and gives the F2002 and F2004 a run for its money yet some people claim it wasnt the best car lol.
Senna should've won the first 3 - he spun out in Interlagos, messed up his start in Aida and braked too early hence Hakkinen took him out and in Imola, he messed up at Tamburello by going too fast and taking too tight a line. After that, the completion was only Hill. Wind your neck in.
@@is-gy7vt The Williams was poor that year. Also the other drivers couldnt handle that car because it was made for Schumachers driving. Not to mention Lehto was injured and Verstappen was a rookie. Not much of a benchmark to compare yourself to. Senna lapped Hill in Brazil which is way more of a statement. Even with the B195 that was not as good as the B194, Johnny Herbert performed better with the worse car.
no way in 1994 for Senna to beat Schumacher. You already saw it in rave 1: Senna was too early on the throttle and lost the car, because he was too motivated not to leave Schumi escape. Senna‘s time way over!
two of the best drivers of all time senna and schumacher....ones at the cemetery and the other in a chair like a vegetable....makes me sick.....life is a disgrace
I am a max fan, but if we think verstappen vs Hamilton was good. This would have been the battle of the millennium. I'm not a fan of inter team battles. Always better when between teams

Senna was finishing 2nd at Brazil and most likely Aida. Imola however was the race I believe he would have won.
