    Nice clip, very clear, nicely shot . . oh, and a proper commentary too instead of those awful off mic, echoing attempts of so many.

    What is the point of having it on wheels when you cannot move the trolley more than the short length of the inlet hose from the tap? I very much doubt that the trolley will remain stable, as in your demonstration, when you are pulling the hose to where you want to water. Also how many people on the average size property have taps all around the property to take the trolley to.

    • @Lianne4evah
      @Lianne4evah Před 4 lety +2

      Maybe you can use it the other way around, attaching the long hose to the tap and the small one to spray your plants?

    • @GardensOnlineVideo
      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 3 lety

      If you have two garden taps - one front of house and one back then this is where this trolley comes in handy as you only need to buy one hose. And Mary, it is stable unreeling as you saw in the video - no trickery there at all.

    • @webherring
      @webherring Před 3 lety

      @@Lianne4evah If you do that, you will need hose adapters on both ends. Typically, the female end of the hose connects to the male tap. And the female sprayer connects to the male end of the hose.

    I think you forgot to mention that it doesnt include the hose you need from the tap to the trolley...

    • @GardensOnlineVideo
      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 3 lety +1

      Thats true - but it also doesn't include the hose either - but maybe we should have made that a bit more obvious - thanks for your comments.

    The middle oart is not wide enough. When I aatach my large gose to the connector in the middle I get a kink in the hose.

    How do you connect the hot to the reel

    • @GardensOnlineVideo
      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 3 lety

      See when the clip is at 0.21 seconds in from the start - you need an extra short piece of hose to attache one end to the tap and the other to the side of the reel.

  • @leedelany2832
    @leedelany2832 Před 4 lety

    Does this mean an extra bit of hose that first has to attach to the tap and then to the reel??

    • @cyclingzealot
      @cyclingzealot Před 4 lety

      Yes, although they supply a very small 2m one.

      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 5 lety

      Iva asked "Does anyone know how do I connect the whole thing with faucet? Do I need 2 hoses or 1?" Yes, Iva, you will need one long hose to wind onto the reel and another short one (maybe one to two metres) to attach the reel to the tap (faucet).

    How do mount it onto a wall?

    • @GardensOnlineVideo
      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 7 lety

      Its really designed to be moved around - Gardena make one that is wall mounted that comes with brackets. Though it is possible to wall mount this one with four 'U' brackets which you can get from any hardware store.

    • @GardensOnlineVideo
      @GardensOnlineVideo  Před 5 lety

      You could attach two half round brackets over the aluminium back-stay, but we would not recommend it as it will not be stable enough to rewind easily. This product is not really meant for wall mounting - hence the wheels. cheers.

  • @diymort
    @diymort Před 5 lety +3

    First, 10 mins to assemble is optimistic..and attach to your tap sounds simple enough but most people would need to buy the 'tap to reel' small length hose connection $20 approx.
