This is a video review the Gardena 8007-CA Classic Hose Reel. Made with plastic parts with some stainless steel bits. Easy to assemble. Not so easy to use as it is quite light, so if you try to reel in a heavy garden hose, you need two hands to guide the hose as well as to keep the hose reel steady while you reel in the hose. Needs to be un-reeled slowly because if you pull on the garden hose too fast, the reel will spin, causing the coiled garden hose to un-coil and bunch up and ending up stuck.

Ad Rian Hi there! This cannot be wall mounted. I believe Gardena also has a version that can be wall mounted.

Hi there! The connector is standard size Gardena adapter. I think it will fit most threads at the ends of any size hose. Hope that helps.

Hi there! Long Winter here at the moment, but late Summer of last year this performed like a champ. Again, not as easy to roll out the hose but maybe it's because I am using a quite thick one. Thanks.

I have to agree; it's kind of expensive. Most Gardena products are on the pricey side. There may be other, more affordable alternatives out there. I just prefer the look of it and I have owned other Gardena products before so I am okay.

i'm disappointed this company doesnt make stainless steel metal reel like the american competitors. alot of these crappy plastic ones end up breaking and i seriously don't want to spend that much money on something that doesn't last.
