Seems to be a BK2 thing, though. My BK1 3.8 has an empty space where that cap is supposed to be.
seemed to be more happy to raise rpm without the cap, I never understood why in first place aftermarket intake do not use that and give you a cap to close it...
That's kind of what I was thinking as well it seemed a bit more peppy, and I wonder the same man I feel like if they had their own tube or a way to hook up the stock tube it would sound much cooler!

The pulls with the cap off you couldnt really hear the whine sound through the camera but it actually picked up on the revs and it sounds pretty sick bro!

All you did was give yourself a boost leak
The guy who put shiload of money into his genesis and came to the conclusion that all money he spent on it was not making any gains
He was making plenty of gains but all he cared about was 0-60 times which these cars aren't good for.
And most pointless genesis coupe video of the year award goes to ....
If anyone wants to really supercharge their 3.8 message me . This fake stuff ain’t it . Or get a nicely priced badass turbo kit go to remanant performance.
