This was streets ahead. A show about nothing, its not about happy endings, its not about moral story, its not about teaching society a lesson,
its not about how friends marry each other and everyone is happy. It's everyday drama + Kramer. The one show where dialogues and physical comedy is top notch.

It'll be a joy. I thought I'd seen most of them (out of order) growing up, but am catching many I don't remember at all. Started a full watch about 6 weeks ago. I'm into season 5 now. It's on crave in Canada until NF takes over next month. No big switch for me although I am curious if the NF version will be the same cropped widescreen remaster or if they'll have it 4:3 letterbox that was initially intended.

As a kid I didn't understand this series, but still my favourite characters were George and Kramer. Now as an adult I love the series and George and Kramer are still my favourite characters😂

are you being sarcastic or? this show is from the 90s, Netflix just bought the copyrights to air it. There are 9 seasons, a great show. Uncancelable lol. They can cancel the authorization to air it, but not the show lol and u can always use some torrents to your own benefit in case they don't wanna air it anymore but you'll have a copy *according to a friend's remark*

Man, this looks just like the old Seinfeld. They did a great job with the reboot.
Yeah, I heard the creators actually contracted the Jim Henson studio to make puppets of all the characters, their most ambitious venture into realism to date. Then they simply used AI to recreate their voices, using voice data from the original series.

For the new génération out there, thanks to this show and the genius of larry david and jerry ,it was a blueprint for a lot of shows that came after ,like friends, how i met your mother , big bang ,and many others .

My eight DVD volumes are all neatly stacked away, the discs in their cases, the cases in the sleeves, the sleeves in the boxes. After I watch the Bengals game, my Seinfeld binge on Netflix begins.

I used to watch my parents watch this as a kid, I didn't understand the jokes for not knowing English much as a French speaker back then. But now it's my favourite sitcom after watching it for the first time two years ago, and the only sitcom I'd be willing to sit hours watching. It's that good.

Easily one the best TV shows ever made. I can't wait for this new generation to discover one of the greatest TV shows of all time, only for them to get offended by everything and then try to cancel it on Tik Tok or Facebook. They tried it with Friends when it came to Netflix. Didn't work.
I find Friends more "offensive" than Seinfeld to be honest. In Friends, there a lot of gay/sexist mean spirited jokes. In Seinfeld the characters are supposed to be bad, but the jokes are usually more "self-aware" and you know that they're in the wrong whenever they make one.

I watched the series when it was on Hulu and there are extra scenes that werent included on TV syndication. It was a nice surprise
Yes for syndication, shows are cut down to fit in more commercials. Only in their original runs and on DVD/streaming do they run their original length.
Most of the kids think that "Friends" "The Office" "Its always sunny in Philadelphia" and "HIMYM" are the best sitcoms.

This (and many other great sitcoms) should come with a disclaimer "stick around after the few first episodes, when we were just throwing stuff to the wall and seeing what sticks, while the network was trying to panic pull us off the air". It really does come to it's own in the later part of 1st season.
The first season was only four episodes, or five if you include the pilot which aired a year earlier.

right I noticed that too! I love this show just because when I was a teen, this was one of the only tv series on air that I actually enjoyed! this and sex and the city. And I got to know it in one of these days I'm just moving around the tv shows on air and happen to stop at the channel it was being shown, and as I good woman, I watched it before I changed lol and love it since, I'm watching it for the 3rd time now
