Yep OP is saving lives. Now it's time for her to protect herself and go NC forever. If the parents are having an event (dinner,BBQ,etc) and she's going to be there. OP shouldn't go. Make sure family knows that OP will never be in the building with her. If OP lets her guard down, sister will get revenge on her.

OP sister should not be a nurse, let alone be responsible for the care of another life form. Not with thst attlitude anyway.
The fact she medicated a pregnant teen who just gave birth, make her a lawsuit in the making

If #1 is true and this is in the U.S., not only is this behavior disturbing, it's illegal in all 50 states (Alaska and Hawaii included). HIPAA is a thing, and that thing, if violated, could land you in a federal prison. That being the worst case scenario of punishments for breaking HIPAA. Even if she never divulged any of the patient's vital information (name, dob, ss#), she could still face charges. If she gave enough details about the patient, someone can still make the connection based on situation alone.

Story 1: NTA. Excuse me? OPs sister shouldn't be even allowed in the premisses of a hospital, let alone near people in sensitive mental states. OP saved a lot of people from TRAUMA and saved a hospital from legal problems, 'cause let me tell you, its one video, one recording, and all hell breaks loose. OPs sister is a monster and more people should make those nasty, vile humans accountable for their actions.

Story 1: I can totally believe the sister might have hurt the baby. It sounded like she was upset that she gave birth as a teen, and the way she talked about her seemed irrational. The idea that she had complications because she was young is stupid. A woman's body typically has a harder time giving birth as you get older than as someone younger. You're more likely to have complications as you get older. It's one of the reasons past generations got married and started having kids much younger than we do now. Either way OP did that hospital a favor by reporting it and if she got fired, It was because she did something seriously bad, not just that she was mean. Personally, I think the 'nurses dose' she talked about is what killed that baby... Otherwise she probably would have gotten a warning.

pregnancy can be difficult for a young body, it depends on how old they are and any other health conditions. OP's sister only said the patient was a teenager, which could mean anywhere from 13-18. while an 18 year old may not have many complications, a 13-15 year old absolutely could. there have been many cases throughout history of women struggling with pregnancies while young and having life-long health and fertility complications due to giving birth at a young age.
either way, i agree that OP's sister's words were irrational and unhinged enough that i could believe she did something to the baby, or at least wanted to. i hope not but sadly it's a possibility.

Why am I not surprised that a nurse acted out again. A lot of people I know and myself have bad to horror stories about nurses abusing their "power" they have over volunerable people. Obviously there are a lot of good nurses too, but the bad ones taint the profession and often the good ones keep quiet too.

S2: Rude family members can sometimes get into a rude loop. They get mad and the problem can't be something they have to work on. There has to be some thing about this person that makes what they are doing right. It becomes a behavior loop of shame and hate mixed together. Plus, you have childern a lot like racism being taught that abuser crap. It can become so bogged down and layer it gets out of control. But you can't change people who don't want to change but talking it out can help. MAking unsaid things said can help it's what abusers hate the most. Labeling, and talking about it because it forces confrontation. In our own minds mentally we are always the hero. Even serial killers will tell you that.

@@KitarnyaBracken-brown that doesn't answer the question. LND is just where she works but could be an LPN or other position working under the supervision of an RN. If so there doesn't seem to be much supervision. Depends what country she lives in. Not a lot of RNs in some countries so you make do with who is available.

I do not allow bad bedside manners in the Healthcare system. I understand venting, but when you seem to get joy out of mocking people because you're a 'mean girl', i do not have sympathy for you.
