- I called up a mate and we headed out to #Wesburn and #warburton on our #DRZ400 . It was #AdvRiding at it's best. With over 100km of #dirtRiding we covered some pretty awesome tracks.

Familiar tracks. Enjoyed reliving the rides, Great video and commentary.. thanks
Glad you enjoyed it It's a beautiful region. In fact I was retracing the entire route on google-maps so that I can tag them on the video (and also so that I remember them for next time)
Looks like a great place to ride, be pretty slick in the rain.
For sure! We wouldn't have tried a lot of those in the wet.. in fact we were surprised we had that much grip even in the dry considering the gradient.
Great video mate!
Thinking of taking my T7 up that way with a friend who just picked up a DRZ400e this week, very keen!
Go for it! The only con is if it rains. I'd think twice about some of those climbs in the rain.
Good thinking on the yellow jacket,I changed up all my gear from the typical black for the same reason
Absolutely mate.. and the thing is even most ADV riding gear comes in black or light gray which blends in with dried up leaves. So it doesn't help. An extra high-vis layer is the way to go I reckon.
Nice one mate, you've inspired me to dust off my bike
You should! Honestly, With WFH, I don't get on the bike as much as I would like to. But when I do, I ask myself why I don't do it more often

I only ever use 91
I used be on just 91 when I used to put a lot more miles on it on the work commute... bike ran just fine... now that the bike sees the roads only on weekends, I've been spoiling it with 95 :D
Thanks. How was your ride with the new tower? Pros and cons...
Cons, well more my fault... I hadn't wired up the USB charger yet, so I couldn't have my phone plugged in to map the entire ride. A con that I DID expect was the restricted visibility when navigating through narrow ruts and rocks, but surprisingly it didn't become an issue.
Pro; well, if this had been a 'planned' right I was going to have my good old paper map clipped onto the dash. And the screen blocks out a lot of the wind/rain that would otherwise be hitting your chest. Obviously the benefit was more on the on road getting to the tracks than on the tracks themselves.
Is it possible to come on one of your rides, where are you located?
Absolutely mate. I've not been riding much lately, but most rides unless its a pontanious one I plan, i join the ones guys on FB groups organize. I love those cos you get to see new areas you wouldnt otherwise see.
